Chapter 2
Becky woke up the next morning to find Dean bringing her a tray of food.
"Aww, babe." Becky said as she sat up in bed.
"Morning." Dean said as he greeted her with a kiss and handed her the tray.
"When should we tell everyone?" Becky asked.
Dean crawled back into bed next to Becky and took a deep breathe.
"I don't know.. Whenever you're ready." Dean told her.
Becky took his hand and smiled up at him.
"I thought we would want time to really take this in before telling the others.. But right now all I want to do is tell everyone." Becky said.
"We can tell them at the the party for Mella tonight." Dean told her.
"Okay." Becky said with a smile on her face.
Dean took a deep breathe and looked at Becky unfortunately.
"I am going to try to talk to Alexa today about changing my position. Maybe I can work something out so I won't be on the Northside all the time." Dean said.
"Okay.. But what am I going to do all day? I mean I can't just sit in the house all day by myself. If I'm not working then-." Becky began to say.
"Why don't I call Sasha? She can come over and spend the day with you." Dean told her.
"Okay." Becky said.
"I've gotta get going but I'll see you this afternoon." Dean said as she kissed her goodbye.
"Be careful." Becky said as she looked into his eyes.
"I will." Dean said as he put his hand over Becky's stomach.
Becky looked down and felt a warmth in her heart.
"Goodbye, little guy." Dean said before walking out of the room.
Becky laughed to herself and began to eat her breakfast.
On the Westside, Kota wake up to the song "Here Comes The Sun" by The Beetles playing throughout the apartment. He walked into the kitchen to find Kenny dancing as he cooked pancakes.
Here comes the sun (doo doo doo)
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right
Kota watched in amusement as Kenny sang along.
Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Kenny looked over and saw Kota watching him. He walked over and grabbed his hand, forcing him to dance with him.
Here comes the sun (doo doo doo)
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right
Kota let out laugh as Kenny spun him around.
Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Kenny leaned in and pressed his lips against Kota's as they shared a kiss.
"What's going on in here?" Aj asked as he walked out of his room.
Kota and Kenny looked at Aj and smiled as they both grabbed each of his hands, trying to get him to dance along.
"No. Y'all don't want none of this." Aj told them as he refused to dance.
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right
Kenny and Kota continued to dance without Aj.
"Oh, what the hell." Aj said as he tried to join in.
Sonya walked into the kitchen and saw Aj's horrible dance moves.
"Oh no.. It is way to early for me to be seeing this." Sonya said as she poured herself a cup of coffee.
Suddenly, Finn walked into the apartment.
"Morning everyone." Finn greeted them.
"I think she's still asleep." Kenny told him.
Finn put down his bags and walked down the hall.
In her bedroom, Bayley was fast asleep, dreaming about the version of events that she wished had happened last night.
"I do hate you, Seth." Bayley said with ears in her eyes.
"That's what I thought." Seth said in frustration as he began to walk away.
"But not because of what you did." Bayley said, stopping him in his tracks.
Seth stood there with his back to Bayley, waiting for her continue.
"I hate you because I keep trying to justify what you did to Liv.. I keep trying to wrap my head around you being a murderer. I keep playing out these scenario's in my head where you are the good guy.." Bayley began to say.
Seth turned around and faced Bayley.
"I hate you because you are clouding my judgement, Seth. I hate you because even after what you did.. I still care about you." Bayley said as a tear fell from her face.
He looked into her eyes and held her face.
"I care about you too, Bayley." Seth told her.
They watched each other as each breath they took began to grow faster. Suddenly, they both leaned in-."
Bayley?" Finn asked as she walked into her room.
She opened her eyes in surprise and sat up to find Finn standing at the end of her bed.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you." Finn told her.
Bayley tried to catch her breathe as she attempted to keep her composure.
"Are you okay? Did you have a nightmare?" Finn asked her in concern as he sat down on her bed.
"Something like that." Bayley told him as she leaned in and kissed Finn on the lips.
Finn was caught off guard as Bayley grabbed his shirt and threw him onto the bed. She climbed on top of him and looked into his eyes. Finn looked at her in surprise, not expecting this at all.
"What am I doing?" She asked as she pushed her hair back and got off of him.
"No, it's okay." Finn said as he sat up and tried to kiss her.
"Finn, no." Bayley said as she stood up, distancing herself from him.
Finn took a deep breath and sat there in frustration.
"I"m sorry, I don't know why I did that." Bayley apologized.
"I really don't mind." Finn assured her.
"We agreed to wait.." Bayley reminded him.
"I know.." Finn said in disappointment.
"I need coffee." Bayley said as she walked out of the room.
Finn threw himself back on the bed and let out a sigh.
Across the hall, Renee woke up and poured herself a cup of coffee. Roman walked out of his room and put on his jacket.
"Stop." Renee told him.
Roman looked over at her in confusion.
"You're really going to keep going across the street to get coffee every morning when we have coffee here?" Renee asked him.
Roman looked down at his feet and let out a sigh. He walked over and poured himself a cup of coffee. Renee watched with satisfaction as he sat down at the counter.
"I'm crashing at the bar tonight after the party. I know most of the streets will be blocked off for the Westside festival." Renee told him.
"Okay." Roman said without looking at her.
Renee rolled her eyes and took a sip of her coffee.
On the Southside, Sasha let herself into Becky and Dean's house as she recieved a text message.
"Something came up for tonight. Rain check?"
-Buddy
Sasha trolled her eyes and put her phone away.
"Becks?" She asked.
"Up here!" Becky yelled.
Sasha walked upstairs to find Becky sitting on the floor of one of the guest rooms.
"What are you doing in here?" Sasha asked in confusion as she looked around the empty room.
"You know the family that lived here before us used this as a nursery." Becky told her.
"Yeah, I can see that. It's the perfect size." Sasha said.
Becky looked up to Sasha and held her stomach.
"Sasha." Becky said with a smile on her face.
"Wait. Are you?" Sasha asked curiously.
"I'm pregnant." Becky told her as she smiled and bit her bottom lip.
"Congratulations!" Sasha said as she bent down and hugged Becky on the floor.
"You're the first person we've told so don't say anything to the others." Becky said.
"When are you going to tell them?" Sasha asked.
"Tonight at the party." Becky told her.
"Wow. This is amazing. You guys are actually having a baby." Sasha said as she leaned against the wall.
Sasha looked at Becky with a smile on her face.
"Can I?" Sasha asked as she began to reached Becky's stomach.
"Go ahead." Becky told her.
Sasha rested her hand over Becky's stomach, searching for movement.
"I say it's a girl." Sasha said.
Becky looked into Sasha's eyes and let out a joyful laugh.
On the Northside, Dean arrived at the mansion in hopes of speaking with Alexa.
"Gun, please." Roderick strong told Dean as he reached the door.
Dean looked at him and let out a sigh as he gave up his gun. Roderick moved out of the way and let Dean inside. He walked into the dining room to find Alexa sitting at the dining table with Kyle and Bobby standing guard behind her. Adam was standing beside Alexa with his hand on his gun, ready to defend Alexa.
"Can we talk?" Dean asked her.
"Have a seat." Alexa told him.
Dean watched cautiously as Adam stared him down.
"The only reason I was working with Sanchez was because he forced me to. Now that he's gone, I was hoping I could get out." Dean told her.
"No." Alexa said.
"Look, Becky and I are about to have a baby and I just think it would be easier-." Dean tried to explain.
"The only way you get out is with a bullet in your head." Alexa told him.
Dean looked at Alexa in disbelief.
"You can go now." Alexa told him.
Dean watched as Adam walked over to escort him out of the house.
"I can walk on my own, thanks." Dean said in annoyance.
Roderick followed Dean outside and gave him his gun back.
On the Westside, Bayley walked out of her apartment building and got into the passenger side of a parked SUV.
"I brought you pancakes." Bayley said as she handed Joe a paper plate.
"Thank you." Joe said with a smile on his face.
"Bayley took a deep breath and thought to herself for a moment.
"What's on your mind?" Joe asked her.
"I went to her funeral." Bayley told him.
"Liv Morgan?" Joe asked in disappointment.
"And I stood there and told her father that I was sorry for his loss while he cried on my shoulder.." Bayley said sadly.
"Bayley, what are you doing?" Joe asked her.
"You said she was there that night to kill my father?" Bayley asked him.
Joe looked over at Bayley curiously.
"Yeah.. she was." Joe said.
"But she was leaving wasn't she? I mean she was in the front yard." Bayley tried to remember back to that night.
"You don't know that for sure." Joe told her.
"I just.. it sucks that everything isn't all black and white, you know?" Bayley asked.
Joe looked into Bayley's eyes and opened his mouth as if he was going to tell her something. Bayley too a deep breath and tried to clear her mind.
"I should get back upstairs with Finn. I'll see you tonight at the festival?" Bayley asked him.
"Sure." Joe said uncomfortably as he watched Bayley get out of the car and walk back into her building.
At Dean and Becky's house, Sasha and Becky were still talking about the baby.
"Have you guys thought of any names?" Sasha asked as Becky looked down at her phone with disappointment.
"Damn." Becky said in frustration.
"Is everything okay?" Sasha asked.
"Not really.. That was Dean. He's trying to get out of working for Alexa so he will be around more during the pregnancy but she isn't letting him go." Becky told Sasha.
"She's not?" Sasha asked in concern.
"No. I mean it doesn't surprise me.. Dean says that now that Sanchez is gone she has completely taken over everything. She's starting to get dangerous." Becky said.
Sasha looked down and thought to herself for a moment.
"I'm going to grab a drink downstairs, do you want anything?" Sasha asked.
"I'll have a water." Becky said as Sasha walked out of the room.
She made her way downstairs and into the kitchen. Sasha searched through the contacts in her phone and stopped when she found Alexa's name. She took a deep breath and hesitantly hit the call button.
"Sasha?" Alexa asked over the phone.
"Let Dean go. He's having a baby, Lexi." Sasha told her.
"That's why you called? It been months since I have heard from you and you call to ask for a favor?" Alexa asked her.
"Please Lexi.. For me?" Sasha asked.
"If I can see you." Alexa told her.
Sasha closed her eyes and thought over what Alexa was saying.
"Fine.. Just let him go." Sasha gave in.
"Consider it done." Alexa said before hanging up the phone.
Sasha took a deep breath and got Becky's glass of water.
Dean pulled up to the diner as his phone began to ring.
"Hello?" He asked.
"I've thought over what you said and I'm going to let you go." Alexa said over the phone.
"What? Really?" Dean asked in confusion.
"Goodbye, Dean." Alexa said before hanging up.
Dean put his phone away and walked into the back of the diner.
"Ambrose!" Corey said as he greeted him with a handshake.
"What's up man?" Dean asked.
"Not much. How's Becky doing?" Corey asked her.
"She's good. Thanks for being there for her yesterday." Dean said.
"Anytime." Corey told him.
"I just came by to drop off this shipment. It looks like I'm going to be taking over for Becky until she can get back on her feet." Dean told Corey.
"Really?" Corey asked in surprise as Dean handed him the car keys.
"Have a nice day, Graves." Dean said as he got a text from Becky.
"Double bacon cheeseburger from the diner? With fries?"
-Becky
Dean laughed and walked into the diner.
"Hey, Dana. I need a number two to go please." Dean said.
"Coming right up." Dana said.
Dean sat down at the counter and looked over at one of the booths when he saw an elderly man reading the newspaper and eating a basked of curly fries. Suddenly, a little girl reached her hand over the booth from behind him and stole a curly fry. Dean watched in amusement as the girl hid behind the booth. He looked around in confusion.
"Hey, Dana. That girl over there.. Are her parents in the bathroom or something?" He asked curiously.
"Um.. I don't know actually. Come to think of it, she has been here all morning. I haven't seen anyone with her." Dana told him.
Dean looked over with concern at she stole another curly fry.
"Get me an order of curly fries, would you?" Dean asked.
"Sure." Dana told him.
Dean walked over and snuck into the little girls booth as she reached for another curly fry. She turned back around with a fry in her mouth to find Dean sitting across from her. She stared at him in surprise as her eyes widened.
"You're a sneaky little thing, aren't you?" Dean said as he let out a small laugh.
She ate her fry and watched Dean in confusion.
"Where are your parents?" Dean asked her.
She shrugged her shoulders and looked down at her lap.
"You don't know where your parents are?" Dean asked.
She shook her head and looked up at Dean. He watched her skeptically for a second.
"Do you have a name?" He asked her.
She didn't answer. Dana walked over and handed Dean his order.
"Orders up." She said before walking away.
"Thanks Dana." Dean said as the little girl stared at the basket of curly fries.
"Here. These are for you." Dean said as he pushed the fries across the table.
She looked at him with caution and took a fry. Dean watched her for a minute and saw her lips were dry.
"Are you thirsty? Do you want a drink?" Dean asked her.
She looked up at him desperately.
"Stay right here." Dean said as he got up.
She began eating the fries quickly as Dean approached the counter.
"You're sure you didn't see anyone with the girl?" Dean asked Dana.
"No." Dana said as Kenny walked up behind her.
"You're talking about that little girl over there?" Kenny asked.
"Yeah." Dean told him.
"I saw here in here a few days ago but I don't remember seeing anyone with her then either." Kenny said.
"Okay, thanks man." Dean said as he took the cup of water Dana had given him and walked back to the booth.
Dean sat down and handed her the water. He looked over and saw that she had eaten all the fries.
"Wow. You were hungry, huh?" Dean asked.
She looked at him apologetically and picked up the glass of water. Dean watched as she chugged the entire glass of water down.
"Damn." Dean said.
She sat the glass down on the table and took a deep breath.
"Nora." She said as she looked up at Dean.
"Is that your name?" Dean asked in surprise.
She nodded her head slowly in approval.
"That's a really pretty name." Dean told her.
Nora looked up at her and let out a small smile, revealing her tiny teeth. Dean couldn't help but smile back at her.
"Do you know how old you are, Nora?" Dean asked her.
She looked at her hand and held up four fingers.
"This many." She said.
"Four years.. Wow, your pretty old, huh?" Dean joked.
Nora shrugged her shoulder and let out another smile. Dean watched her for a minute and felt his heart grow warm as she looked into his eyes.
On the Westside, Bayley and Finn were getting ready for the festival.
"So we never talked about how the dinner went last night." Finn said as he walked into the bathroom.
"It was fine." Bayley said as she put on her earrings.
Finn looked at Bayley in confusion.
"Bayley.. It's just me and you here. You can be honest with me, okay? I know that dinner couldn't have been easy for you." Finn told her.
Bayley took a deep breath and looked into Finn's eyes.
"It was weird." She told him.
"Did he say anything to you?" Finn asked her.
"No." Bayley lied, feeling guilty about the dream she had of Seth.
"Good. He should at least have the decency to let you have your space." Finn said.
Bayley let out an awkward smile and looked down at the ground.
"We should get going." Bayley told him as she walked out of the bathroom.
Back at the diner, Dean was still sitting with Nora.
"So after that you connect the ignition wire with the battery wire." Dean explained.
Nora laughed as listened to Dean explain to her how to hot wire a car.
"You think this is funny now but you won't be laughing when you've got the Greenville PD hunting you down." Dean told her.
"Your funny." Nora said.
Dean let out a laugh as he watched her smile.
"Speaking of Greenville PD.." Dean said as Kofi walked into the diner.
"Thanks for calling me Ambrose." Kofi said as he approached the booth.
"Detective Kingston." Dean said as he stood up.
"This is her?" He asked as Nora looked up at Dean with concern.
"Her name is Nora." Dean told him.
Kofi leaned down and smiled at Nora.
"It's nice to meet you." Kofi said.
Nora backed away from Kofi and looked over at Dean.
"It's okay, Nora. He's a police officer. He is going help you." Dean told her.
"Do you want to come with me? I've got plenty of games for you to play down at the station." Kofi told her.
Nora didn't respond.
"You're going to take her to the station?" Dean asked Kofi.
"For the night, yeah.. And if we don't find her parents we'll get her set up will a social worker and put her in the system." Kofi told him.
Dean looked over at Nora with concern in his eyes.
"No. My wife was in the system, I know how that shit works. She needs her parents, not to be sitting in the police station all night." Dean said.
Kofi looked at Dean and saw his concern.
"Unless you want to take her for the night.." Kofi said.
Dean looked at him in surprise.
"Me?" Dean asked.
"I'm sure her parents will come looking for her. You could just keep an eye on her for a few hours until they turn up." Kofi said.
Dean looked down at Nora and saw the fear in her eyes.
"Yeah, I guess so." Dean said.
"If not, I can take her down to the station. That's protocol anyway." Kofi said.
"No, I got her." Dean told him.
Kofi watched as Nora got out of the booth and grabbed Dean's hand.
"Okay, then. I'll call you when I hear something." Kofi said before walking out of the diner.
Dean felt a warmth in his heart as Nora gripped tightly onto his hand. He bent down and brought himself to her level.
"Feel like going to a party?" Dean asked her.
Nora nodded in excitement as Dean let out a laugh.
On the Westside, Roman was about to leave the apartment when someone knocked on the door. He walked over and opened the door to find Miz standing in the hall.
"She's not here." Roman told him as he began to shut the door.
Miz threw his hand on the door and pushed it open.
"I came to see you." Miz said as he let himself in.
Roman looked at him in confusion.
"I'm in love with her." Miz told him.
Roman shook his head in annoyance when he realized what this was about.
"Aren't you married?" Roman asked him.
"Our marriage is more of a business agreement than an actual commitment. Alexa is fine with my relationship with Renee." Miz told him.
"That sounds pathetic." Roman told him.
"Look.. You are Renee's best friend and I don't know why you can't just accept the fact that she is happy with me. Renee and I are happy together but she can't take the time to enjoy that because she is too upset about you not talking to her." Miz said.
Roman looked at Miz and laughed.
"She's not in love with you, man." Roman told him.
Miz looked at Roman in confusion as he walked out the door.
"Nice talk." Miz said in annoyance.
In the square, Bayley and Finn joined their friends at a table in the middle of the festival. Seth stood with Joe by the bar. Finn dragged Bayley onto the dance floor as the song "She Will Always Hate Me" by James Blunt became to play.
"Finn, I'm really not in the mood." Bayley told him.
"That's why we are dancing. Dancing always cheers you up." Finn told her.
Oh God it hurt
The moment that I saw you
"You good?" Joe asked as Bayley and Finn began to dance.
"I'm fine." Seth said as he took a shot of vodka.
With someone else
The one that you belong to
Bayley looked into Finn's eyes and couldn't help but smile.
"See, I knew dancing would make you feel better." Finn said.
I never thought
I'd drown in my shallow heart
Seth looked down at the ground and remembered the look in Bayley's eyes from the night before.
I'd like to say
The things I never used to
But come today they wont ever be useful
I never learn to use my shallow heart
Seth looked up and felt a sharp pain in his chest as Finn spun Bayley around.
I, I, I
I never meant to hurt you
It's just something I do
I guess it's not a good excuse
Bayley looked over Finn's shoulder and saw Seth watching her with tears in his eyes.
And she will always hate me
No matter what I say
She knew she should have looked away but she couldn't.
And she will always hate me
No matter what I say
Seth and Bayley stared at each other from across the festival with pain in their eyes.
And there is no mistaking
The love is gone
"I have to get out of here." Seth said as he took another shot.
Joe looked over and saw Bayley watching Seth walk away.
She will always hate me
She said, you lost me baby
Finn looked up and saw Zelina watching from the other side of the festival.
No matter what I say
The love is gone
"I have to use the restroom." Finn said.
"Right now?" Bayley asked him as they stopped dancing.
"Yeah, I'll be right back." Finn told her before walking away.
Bayley thought to herself for a moment as Finn disappeared into the crowd.
"She's pretty." Zelina said from behind a tent.
Finn walked over to her in a panic.
"What are you doing here?" Finn asked her.
"This is a town event, Finn. I don't think there's a guest list." Zelina said.
Finn looked at her and took a deep breath.
"You're right. I'm sorry. I just.. after last night.." Finn said nervously.
"Do you still want to sleep with me?" Zelina asked.
Finn looked at her in surprise and thought it over for a second.
"What? No. That's not what I want. I never said that." Finn told her.
"Yes you did.. With your eyes." Zelina told him.
Finn looked at her and froze for a moment.
"Just like right now.. I know you're thinking about it." Zelina said.
"I have a girlfriend." Finn told her.
"But you still want to sleep with me." Zelina said.
"I can't." Finn said as he began to walk away.
"My place. One hour.. If you change your mind." Zelina said before walking away.
Across the festival, Seth was sitting on a park bench trying to get Bayley out of his head as the song "I Know You" by Skylar Grey began to play throughout the square.
I believe, I believe there's love in you
Grid locked on the dusty avenues
"Hi." Bayley said as she approached him.
Inside your heart, just afraid to go
Seth closed his eyes and threw his head down.
I am more, I am more than innocent
But just take a chance and let me in
"What are you doing?" Seth asked as he looked up at her and admired her blue gown.
And I'll show you ways that you don't know
"I don't know.." Bayley said as she felt a sharp pain in her chest.
Seth watched her with caution as she sat down next to him on the bench.
Don't complicate it,
Don't let the past dictate
"Bayley." Seth said as he looked down at the ground.
Yeah,
I have been patient, but slowly I'm losing faith
"Can we just sit here for a minute? Don't say anything.. Just sit here with me." Bayley said.
So please, I know you baby
Seth looked over at her as she stared down at her lap.
I know you baby
They both sat there in there in silence as they tried not to look at each other.
Seth listened to her breathing as if it were a symphony.
So please, I know you baby
Bayley closed her eyes, wanting more than anything to just forgive Seth.
I know you baby
"Bayley." Seth said.
"Don't." Bayley said.
I believe, I believe you could love me
But you're lost on the road to misery
Seth felt a tear fall from his face as they continued sitting in silence.
And what I gave to you
I could never get back!
Bayley felt in uneasiness in her stomach, realizing that she was in uncharted territory.
Don't complicate it,
Don't drive yourself insane
Yeah,
Say what you will but I know that you want to stay!
She looked over at Seth but he wouldn't take his eyes off the ground.
So please, I know you baby
Bayley saw Seth's hand resting in his lap.
I know you baby
She slid her hand over and rested in on Seth's. He felt an ache in his chest as he felt Bayley's touch. She intertwined her fingers with his.
So please, I know you baby
A tear fell from Seth's eyes as he pulled his hand away and stood up. Bayley watched him desperately, waiting for him to turn around and look at her but he never did. He just walked away.
I know you baby
Tears filled Bayley's eyes as she tried to bring herself back to reality.
"There you are." Finn said as he walked down the side walk.
"Finn." Bayley said as she wiped the tears from her eyes.
"Are you are okay?" Finn asked her.
"Yeah, I just.. I don't feel well. I think I'm going to go home and lay down.
"Okay, I'll come with you." Finn said.
Bayley smiled up at him as he helped her up from the bench.
At the bar, Sasha and Becky were sitting with everyone else, ready to celebrate their late friend, Carmella's birthday.
"He should have been here by now." Becky said as she looked at her phone with concern.
"Here, have a drink." Roman said as he handed Becky a beer.
"I can't have beer." Becky said without thinking.
Outside, Dean pulled up with Nora in his front seat. He looked down at her and parked the car.
"You're really small, you know that?" Dean laughed.
She smiled up at him, revealing her tiny teeth again. He unbuckled her and got out of the car.
"Are you coming?" He asked as she waited for her.
She looked out the window at him, trying to push the door open.
"Oh." Dean said, not realizing he had to help her.
He opened the door and grabbed her hand.
Inside, everyone was still hung up on what Becky said.
"Why can't you have a beer?" Renee asked.
"Um.." Becky said as she looked around the room.
"Are you...?" Naomi asked curiously.
"I was waiting for Dean to get here but.. Yes, I'm pregnant. We are having a baby." Becky said.
"I knew it!" Jimmy said.
"You don't anything." Naomi said a she slapped him on his arm.
"Congratulations, Becks." Roman said as he hugged her.
Suddenly, Dean walked inside with Nora holding his hand. Becky turned around and locked eyes with Dean. She looked down and saw a little girl with light brown hair.
"Damn. That was fast." Jimmy said.
"Dean?" Becky asked as she walked over to him.
"I got your burger." Dean said as he handed her the food.
Becky looked at Dean in confusion.
"This is Nora." Dean told her.
Becky watched as Dean bent down to face Nora.
"Nora this is my wife, Becky." Dean introduced them.
Becky looked down as Nora flashed her adorable smile. Becky immediately felt a warmth grow in her heart as she looked into Nora's dark brown eyes.
"It's nice to meet you, Nora." Becky said as she bent down and offered out her hand.
Nora looked at Dean for permission.
"Go ahead." Dean told her.
Nora reached out her small hand and put it on Becky's.
"Why don't you introduce yourself to our friends while I talk to Becky?" Dean asked her.
Nora looked at Dean nervously as he stood back up.
"Come here." Dean said as he picked her up and sat her on top of the bar.
"Everyone, this is Nora. Don't let her fall." Dean said as he walked outside with Becky.
"What's going on, Dean? Who's kid is that?" Becky asked him.
"I don't know.." She said.
"Please tell me you didn't kidnap her.." Becky said with concern.
"I went into the diner to get your order and she was just sitting in a booth by herself. Dana said she'd been there all day and she doesn't know where her parents are." Dean explained.
"So you just took her?" Becky asked.
"No. I called Detective Kingston and he said he was going to take her to the station." Dean said.
"So why isn't she at the station?" Becky asked him.
"You should have seen the look on her face. She was practically begging me to bring her with me. And if they don't find her parents Kingston said she would go in the system.." Dean said.
Becky looked through the bar window at Nora as she laughed at something Roman said. Dean watched Becky, hoping she didn't tell him to take her back. Becky looked into Dean's eyes and took a deep breathe.
"Just for tonight, okay? I'm sure the police will find her parents by morning." Becky said.
Dean smiled at Becky and kissed her on the lips.
"Thank you, babe." Dean said.
"I'm assuming Kingston didn't know you were bringing her to a bar?" Becky asked.
"He didn't ask." Dean said.
Becky laughed as she and Dean walked back into the bar.
"And what do you do after that?" Roman asked Nora in amusement.
Nora looked around at everyone as she sat on the bar.
"Um.. strip starter wire?" She asked.
Dean wrapped his arm around Becky as they watched Nora.
"Damn. This girl knows how to hot wire a car!" Roman said.
Dean gave Nora a thumbs up as she smiled back at him. Becky nodded in disapproval but couldn't help but laugh.
On the Westside, Bayley had fallen asleep on the couch. Finn put a blanket over her and took a deep breath. He looked at the time anxiously and sat back down. Finn tapped his foot nervously and looked back at Bayley who was sound asleep. He jumped up and grabbed his jacket, practically running out the door.
Once he made it to the Southside and approached his apartment building he started to rethink what he was about to do. He walked inside the building and looked down the hall. His apartment door was right in front of him but he couldn't make himself go in. Finn walked down the hall and knocked on Zelina's door. Suddenly, he realized what he was doing was wrong. Just as he turned to walk away, Zelina opened her door, wearing nothing but black, lace lingerie.
"I didn't didn't think you were going to come." Zelina said.
Finn looked her up and down and forgot why he was leaving in the first place. He leaned in and pressed his lips against hers, grabbing her waist as they made their way into her apartment. Zelina slammed the door shut behind her as she lead Finn into her bedroom. Finn threw her onto the bed and took off his shirt. Zelina watched with wild eyes as Finn crawled on top of her.
At the bar, Becky and Dean watched as Nora played on the stage.
"I wonder if she knows those are stripper poles?" Renee asked.
"She's four, I don't think she cares." Roman said.
Dean looked over at Becky and smiled.
"Alexa called me earlier.. She changed her mind. She's going to let me go."
"Really?" Becky asked in excitement.
"That means I can take over for you here on the Southside until the baby comes." Dean told her.
"Then what are you going to do?" Becky asked him.
"Stay home with our baby boy, what else?" Dean asked her.
"You don't know that it's a boy." Becky told him.
"Don't underestimate my spidey senses woman." Dean joked.
Becky let out a laugh as Nora tried to climb down from the stage. Everyone watched as she shimmied her feet down, feeling for the ground. Nora walked over and looked up at Becky, holding her hands out.
"I think she wants you to pick her up." Dean said.
Becky looked down at Nora in surprise.
"Me?" She asked.
Nora looked up at her with tired eyes. Becky leaned down and picked her up.
"You look sleepy." Becky said as she pushed the hair out of her eyes.
Dean watched with a smile on his face as Nora rested her head over Becky's shoulder.
"Maybe we should call it a night?" Dean asked.
"Yeah, let's go home." Becky said.
"We'll see you guys later." Dean said as he opened the door open for Becky.
"Night, guys." Roman said.
Becky carried Nora out to the car and put her in the backseat.
"Dean.. how did you get her here? There is no car seat." Becky said.
"She sat in the front with me." Dean said as he got into the car.
"Of course she did." Becky said as she got into the passenger side of the car.
On the Northside, Alexa met with Buddy Murphy.
"I hope you didn't have plans tonight.. " Alexa said from across the table.
"I did but it's nothing I couldn't reschedule." Buddy said.
"Great. So.. how is she?" Alexa asked.
"Sasha Banks seems harmless. I've only been watching her today but so far I haven't noticed anything suspicious." Buddy told her.
"Okay, keep watching her." Alexa said.
"Maybe if you could tell me why I'm watching her I would know that to look for." Buddy said.
"I told you, no questions." Alexa reminded him.
"Right." Buddy said as he stood up.
Adam walked Buddy outside.
"Keep up the good work, Murphy. This is a good job, don't screw it up." Adam told him.
Buddy looked at Adam curiously.
"Do you know why she wants me to keep surveillance on this girl? I mean is she in danger? Did she do something?" Buddy asked.
"Just do your job." Adam said.
"I'm trying but it's kind of hard to watch someone when you don't know what you're looking for. And the file she gave me is practically useless. I mean it has her name and birth date but other than that there's nothing. It does say who here parents are or where she was born. It doesn't tell me anything about who she is." Buddy explained.
"Stop asking questions and just do what the boss says." Adam told him before walking back inside.
