~ Part Eleven ~
I needed to have a new ready for today. But it wouldn't be me if I didn't remember it just before the deadline. I flew out of bed quickly, and before I could pour my coffee, the laptop was on and ready to write. I sat down at the table, side by side with the printed materials I flew over once in a while to make sure I was still writing it correctly.
More than four years I'm working as a journalist for natural-science magazine. You always told me that I should do some decent work that at least makes more money. This was the first thing I didn't listen to you for.
My editor and best friend Reunn helped me when I told her about you. She said I should send half of the paycheck to my own account. The money will definitely come in handy someday. And she was right... Maybe that's why you think I don't make so much money.
I heard a door slam. You came into the kitchen, and as soon as you saw a pile of paper and me writing something on a notebook, you turned up your nose, muttered something, and started to prepare water for coffee. I just sighed at your behavior and continued to write.
I checked my watch and found that the text should have been sent to my editor in an hour. I quickly read the article about the endangered species and sent it with a satisfied smile. I wish I was still so happy...
