Lucky's P.O.V

I sat on my neighbors fence, staring into oblivion. My tail was wrapped calmly around my paws and my pelt was invisible against the night sky. My housefolk say I'm special. Really special. They think I'm special because of my ash black coat and bright green eyes. My name is Lucky. Yes, I know it's a name for those smelly yappy creatures that people call dogs but I think it suits me. Well... Actually, my name is the opposite of what I am.
"Lucky!" The voice pulled me back into the real world. I looked in the direction of the voice and saw a silver and white Tom pad up to me.
"Hey snake" I say blandly. I never really liked him. From day one. I stood up and leaped down from the fence, landing with a thud infront of snake, our noses almost touching. To my disappointment, he didn't flinch, he just looked at me, eyes sparking with happiness and excitement. 
"What is it snake?" Was all I could say.
"There's a new house cat up the street!" He answered excitedly. "And she's really pretty" I rolled my eyes at him, knowing that he is completely overreacting, quite dramatically.

Honey's P.O.V

A loud clatter was heard. I looked up from my meal, neck fur starting to bristle. My first night in my new home is way more scarier than what I thought it would be. I snuck up to the window, curious to see what had caused the racket and frightened, because I am young and scared of everything. 'Bring it together honey!' I shouted in my head 'you're acting like an idiot!'
Just then, four eyes blink at me. I yelped in surprise. One pair grey, the other, a lush forest green.
