The day Kana became a vampire..

He remembered her smile, how beautiful and sad it was, and how much it felt wrong to see that lonely smile on her face. Yet the moment he saw it, she was back to normal as though nothing had happened.

It all started the day he left and it ended the day he came back.

"Thank you." She told him while smiling, tears streaming down her face as she lied on the cold floor of a rundown alleyway. It was dark, it was cold and it was scary. He couldn't move, he couldn't breathe and he felt as though his heart was being squeezed so tightly by invisible hands.

"T-This is the e...end..hah...I'm g-going ..to die.... right....?"

She asked no one, breathing shakily as her pale lips quivered. The teal eyes so full of life was no more and he could see it slowly getting dimmer.

"Mother, Father, otouto... I'm...c..comin--"

"Kana-chan!"

That was the day when teal bled to red and white turned pale.
