As step one for me to make up for scaring Donghyuck, I asked him to join me on the roof when the sun is almost done setting.

Donghyuck was the first one on the roof, but I eventually joined him with two special pouches.

"These are blood pouches that we can drink from. The brand is called Nectar"

They even have specific types depending on what species wants them, so Jeno-hyung has his own that he enjoys too. I thought that you might like it since you're part vampire now, but we can always find some for zompires if you don't like it"

"I love it! It's so good~! But it tastes a bit different from regular blood"

"That's right. They also come in many different flavors. The one we're drinking right now is called Volcano"

He smiled while sipping some more of it.

He cheerfully reassured me while sipping out of the pouch more.

"...I'm really gonna enjoy having you around Hyuck"

I smiled and ruffled his hair, receiving a bigger smile from him.

We sat together and enjoyed the rest of the sunset, and I made sure that he didn't choke on his drink from his excitement.

But not long after the sun went down, I suddenly got chills and I could see how my eyes had suddenly turned red from the reflection on my phone.

"Hey Jaemin, what's wrong? You're squeezing your poor pouch to death"

He worriedly asked me.

Thankfully, my pouch was already empty.

"...I'm feeling a terrible bloodlust very close by, but it's a bloodlust that I've only felt once before back at that place I mentioned earlier"
