Team: Yukhei + Renjun

Renjun and Yukhei found the zompire that they were looking for after spending time killing lesser ones, but they spent a long time chasing it from the shadows until it finally stopped.

It was around five in the morning when they were able to confront it, far away from the town, and Renjun realized how its physique outmatched all of the zompires that they had seen.

"This one is different from the others. It's able to move its heart around its body to avoid being killed"

Yukhei explained to the younger.

"How are we gonna take it down?"

"I'm going to distract the zompire by fighting it. Once its guard is down, you can emerge from the shadows and take it down"

"But...how will I be able to find the heart??"

"We have the ability to see within the bodies of living organisms, but we have to have total concentration to do so. I've already mastered this, but it's time that you mastered it now. You just have to stay calm and focused while watching us fight, and once you find the right timing, go for the heart and destroy it. You're a prodigy Renjun. I know you'll be able to pull this off easily"

"Right.. I'll do my best. Good luck hyung"

Yukhei gave him a pat on the back before finally jumping down to fight the monster.

"Ok... Remember what he said.. Stay calm and stay focused.. I can do this easily.. Right... I got this. I won't let you down"

Renjun calmed himself down and watched them fight normally first, admiring how Yukhei stayed calm under the pressure to land all of his attacks and dodge each of its blows.

He then began to focus while watching the fight, blocking out all other sounds and movements around them. He didn't even pay any attention to the swaying leaves of the trees that came with the wind.

He continued to do this until he could finally learn his new ability.

It took Renjun about another hour of total concentration, but eventually, his eyes adjusted to what he was trying to do, he was finally able to see within both Yukhei's and the zompire's body.

"Finally. Time to go.."

He quietly stood up within the tree he was in, and waited for the perfect moment to move.

Finally, the moment the zompire's back was turned to him and it's heart was positioned right in between its collarbones, Renjun lunged out of the tree with a thick branch in hand, and used it to impale the zompire with all he had.

Its heart was pushed out of its body, stuck on the thick branch, and Yukhei finished it off by ripping its heart into two and throwing the pieces to the ground.

The zompire eventually collapsed before them and as the sun rose, its body completely disappeared into dust, officially ending the threat for good.

"We really did it~! Renjun, you did so well on your first try! Great job mastering your new ability~!"

Yukhei cheered, immediately hugging Renjun for doing such a great job.

"I told you that I'd do my best hyung~"

Renjun was happy as well with their accomplishment, but his smile faded once he remembered a certain someone.

"Hyung... What if Donghyuck didn't make it...?"

"...Let's go find out"

Yukhei advised, equally worried for the younger.

They both ran in the direction of the convenience store to meet up with everyone, hoping that their friend was still alive.
