Team: Johnny, Taeyong, Mark, + Donghyuck

Taeyong was the main one in his group doing all the work to kill zompires, but the other three did what they could to help with assist attacks.

The demon put a spell on Donghyuck that would help keep him in his right mind, but only for the night to help them fight. They spent a few hours taking out zompires, and after their break, they eventually came across a group of five people.

They approached the group and they offered them their assistance to get to town safely, while Donghyuck stayed quiet. But while Donghyuck was staring quietly into the distance, one of the three kids in the group suddenly approached him and tugged on his shirt.

Donghyuck looked down at the little girl, but he didn't recognize her like she seemed to recognize him.

"Oppa~. We found you~"

She cheered, her eyes glimmering with joy.

"Oppa..?? But-"

"Hyung~"

"Donghyuck-hyung~"

"Donghyuck..?"

"Is it really you...?"

The two young boys in the group, as well as the kids' parents, also recognized Donghyuck.

Donghyuck was confused, but the more he looked at them, he finally remembered what he almost completely forgot.

He finally recognized the group as his younger sister, two younger brothers, and his parents.

But when Donghyuck realized this, he gently took her hands off of him, and quickly hid behind Mark and Johnny.

"Donghyuck, sweetheart... Please stop running away from us... Let us help you..."

"Mom... You can't help me... I don't want to hurt any of you.."

"..Mr. Lee, what happened after Donghyuck was attacked a year ago?"

Mark asked, wanting answers from his family.

"Well, once he started changing the first time, he knocked himself out to keep himself from hurting us. We put him to sleep in his room while we tried to search for ways to help him, but we found nothing. When he woke up, he ran away by escaping through his bedroom window. We found him in a dark alley a few days later, but he looked worse than he did before he left. When we offered to help him, he suddenly changed into a black cat and ran away again. We couldn't find him after that, but we continued to search for him and waited for him to come home, but he never did"

"I didn't mean to make you all worry... I just didn't want to hurt you unintentionally the last time you saw me..."

"Why do you still think that you're going to hurt them Donghyuck? Even now after you've met us, you haven't hurt a single soul"

Johnny tried reasoning with the younger.

"I...just don't trust myself. I want to keep my family safe..."

"Hyuck, you'll never truly be happy if you keep running away from your family. If you don't trust yourself to do it alone, then let us help you"

Mark took Donghyuck's hand, and the three of them slowly guided him over to his siblings.

Mark helped Donghyuck get down to his knees, and his sister was the first to approach him again. After waiting a second to see if Donghyuck would do anything, she eventually hugged him and then his brothers hugged him too.

Donghyuck realized that he didn't feel any of his zompire instincts to kill, even though his family was this close to him. He wrapped his arms around them, and doing so made him burst into tears.

His parents finally joined in the hug too, wanting to embrace their oldest son after so long. In that moment, Donghyuck had finally found peace with himself and who he was, and he realized that he didn't want to die anymore.

But in the middle of their reunion, another zompire showed up and tried to attack them. But before Taeyong could act, Donghyuck suddenly disappeared from where he was, and reappeared in front of him, killing the zompire in one shot.

"Donghyuck?! When did you get so fast?!"

"I won't let you hurt my family. Not now, and not ever"

Donghyuck spoke to zompire as he watched it fall.

"Wow~!!"

"So cool~!!"

"That was amazing oppa~!"

His three siblings quietly cheered for him and crowded him again, putting a big smile on his face.

The rest of his team were in complete shock from what just happened, but they predicted that it had something to do with Donghyuck having his family back.

"We should keep moving to the convenience store and take shelter there. The night is almost over, so we should be safe by morning"

Johnny suggested, worrying about everyone's safety.

As they all walked to their destination, Mark and Donghyuck's parents exchanged contact information to ensure that they stay together.

His team happily watched as Donghyuck hold his brothers' hands while letting his sister ride on his shoulders as they were able to walk together after so long, happy to finally be in each other's presence again.
