Team: Jeno + Jisung

After being teleported to their designated location, Jeno and Jisung used their enhanced senses of smell in their wolf forms to find and kill zompires stealthy.

They spent a few hours doing so until they both wanted to take break by a river. They used the water to wash off any blood that they had on them, and enjoyed their break by looking at the stars.

But their break was cut short after they both heard the sounds of a girl screaming. They quickly spotted a trio being attacked not too far from them, but they were both out of their wolf forms.

"You wanna kill this one Ji~?"

Jeno playfully asked, making the situation a bit fun.

"Leave it to me~"

He excitedly agreed to it and changed into his wolf form.

They made their way to the trio as quietly as possible, and once they were close enough, Jeno quickly swooped in to save the them from the zompire's attack.

Jisung came in soon after and swooped in to kill the zompire himself.

"Everything will be alright. You're all safe now"

Jeno informed the trio while Jisung did the dirty work.

"Wait a minute... Jeno...?"

One of the females in the group suddenly said Jeno's name, and he looked back at them with wide eyes.

After making sure the zompire was dead, Jisung changed back to his human form and approached the group.

"It's dead now. We'll escort you all to town on the safest route possible"

After Jisung said this, he noticed how the trio was solely focused on Jeno, and how confused Jeno looked.

"How...do you know my name?"

Jeno asked the girl.

"Jeno...look at me"

The girl held his face in her hands, making him look in her eyes.

"Wait... Sis....?"

"You really do remember~. I've missed you so much~"

Once he finally realized that she was his older sister, she immediately hugged him and he quickly hugged her back, happy to be reunited after so many years.

But Jeno's happiness faded once he realized that the other two were their parents. His sister noticed how tense he suddenly became, as well as the now blank look on his face, and she became furious with them too.

"Why would you guys mess up our bond like this?! There was no reason for you to abandon him!!"

"Just how did they abandon you hyung? You never specified that to us.."

Jisung curiously asked, trying not to upset him more.

"After I got turned and fully transformed, a few nights later they woke me up to take me for a ride. But then they just took me out of the car and left me alone on the side of the road"

"So you abandoned him and lied to me?!"

"Lied to you?"

"They told me that you ran away to protect me!"

His sister furiously explained to him.

"I probably would've run away. I really thought about doing it. But you were the reason I wanted to stay. Unfortunately, they took you away from me themselves"

"And we're really sorry for doing this to you"

"Really sorry. We regret ever leaving you the way we did"

They tried to apologize, but Jeno's sister was still very upset with them despite their efforts.

"You wouldn't have to apologize in the first place if you didn't abandon him!"

"Sis, it's alright. They were more concerned for your safety, and I'm fine with that"

"But.., wouldn't it be better if they were more concerned for the safety of both of their children rather than only one?"

Jisung asked, causing them to all fall silent.

"...We should just get moving to a safer location in town. It's not safe out here"

Jeno led the way with his sister and Jisung at his side, while his parents followed behind them.

As they walked, Jeno's sister suddenly handed him her phone.

"Hey Jeno, put in your number~"

"Oh, sure thing~"

He smiled, doing so without hesitation.

"It's been so long since we've been together, so now that we finally are, I want to be able to keep in touch with you~"

She explained, and Jeno handed her his phone.

"I'm also willing to make things right with our parents. I want to be able to protect all of you now that I can. I'll check on all of you often, and you can contact me whenever you need help too~"

All three of them were happy to hear this, and she cheerfully put in her information.

"This is great hyung~. Now you can finally get your family back~"

Jisung smiled, and happily chatted with Jeno and his sister as they made their way to town.
