Yukhei and Jisung left the house once the time came, and left for Renjun's place to pick up the others.

Before doing anything else, I went to the fridge and got myself a Nectar pouch. My favorite flavor is Rainbow, since it's a very sweet flavor similar to sweet rainbow sorbet.

After going back upstairs, I sat by the window and watched to see who decided to go out with with Yukhei and Jisung.

Surprisingly, Jeno and Renjun were the only ones that come out, leaving Mark, Jaemin, and Donghyuck at home. After making sure they left the neighborhood safely, I stayed seated by the window to keep an eye out for any trouble.

Mark slept on the couch, while Jaemin and Donghyuck watched Squid Game together. Since I can hear and see the tv from where I am, I secretly watched it with them while I finished my pouch.

I've been meaning to watch it sooner, but I haven't for Jisung's sake. I think it's funny and a bit cute that Jisung doesn't really like gorish things, when Jeno doesn't seem to have a problem with it.

But nevertheless, I still respect him and his preferences, so I don't watch things like that when he's around.

The show is actually really good, and I can see why it's so popular right now. But in the middle of it before the first game started, I noticed someone approaching their house that didn't look familiar or friendly.

To cause more suspicions, I noticed how uncomfortable Donghyuck suddenly looked, and he looked more and more uneasy the closer the stranger got to the house.

I quickly opened the window and moved up to sit on the roof to get a better view of everything. I watched as the stranger knocked on the door and Jaemin went to answer it.

The moment he opened the door, the stranger suddenly tackled Jaemin to the ground. And the door suddenly slammed shut behind them even though no one was near it.

I watched everything unfold, and I finally realized that the stranger that attacked Jaemin was another zompire! That's why Donghyuck looked so uncomfortable when it showed up!

And to make matters worse, I saw when Donghyuck's eyes suddenly started glowing. That zompire is most likely trying to control him. If that happens, we'll have another problem on our hands.

I suddenly heard Mark order him to lock himself in the bathroom while Jaemin was struggling against it, and surprisingly, Donghyuck immediately obeyed and did just that!

I continued to watch as Jaemin fought against the zompire, but he eventually started struggling. This must be one of the stronger ones. I have no doubt that Jaemin would be able to take out a lower class zompire in no time.

But I have to admit, seeing Jaemin struggle like this is really making me mad..

The more I watch this go on, the more angry I become, and the more I feel my bloodlust growing. But unlike other times in the past, this is the first time that I'm scared for anyone.

Mark tried to help Jaemin by abruptly attacking it, but it grabbed him in the blink of an eye and impaled him with its sharp nails and threw him against the wall.

Seeing Mark lay against the wall unresponsive was what finally drove us to the edge. This was enough to make my bloodlust, as well as Jaemin's, skyrocket.

I don't want to hurt Jaemin's pride by butting in, but this has gone too far.

I rushed to their house and burst through their window, taking one of the glass shards and stabbing the zompire in the head with it.

Jaemin was visibly alarmed by my entrance, as well as how I brought the zompire down so quickly.

"..Chenle!"
