**Two-Bit’s POV**

My head felt like it was being punched from the inside out, I slowly opened my eyes but shut them quickly from the bright light. I tried again but only squinted trying to see where I was, I realised I was still at the Curtis’s. I looked down and saw Kate snuggled in to me, I looked around again and saw Darry slumped over asleep in the chair, Johnny was asleep in the hallway, Soda was asleep on the coffee table (that’s a weird place to sleep) and Dally and Steve were both laying on the ground. Nobody else was awake yet so I decided to go back to sleep and try and sleep this off.

I woke up to the smell of bacon and to the sound of sizzling. I opened my eyes slowly learning from the last time, Kate was gone probably the one cooking the bacon. I sat up and rubbed my eyes then stretching my arms out wide and yawning. Everyone had moved except for Dally and Steve who were still passed out on the ground, I got up slowly and shuffled to the bathroom. I did my business fixed my hair and walked out to the kitchen where Kate and Darry were cooking bacon and eggs they already had a plate served. I walked over grabbed a plate and a large amount of each I was starving, then I walked over to Kate and kissed her on the cheek. “Good morning beautiful.” I say uncheerfully because my head was killing me so I grabbed some aspirin on my way to the lounge room.  “What’s so good about it?” she groaned and sat next to me on the sofa. I picked up some bacon and put it in front of her face and she bit it out of my hand. “Thanks.” She mumbled and we continued to share our food. “Wow he must really love you Kate if he’s sharing is hangover food with you.” Soda said walking out of the bathroom. “Well yeah I thought we had already established that when you know…Got Married! Dork!” she smirked and went to the bathroom.  “So Two-Bit guess todays a sucky day to move.” Darry chuckles. “Ugh I can’t be bothered today man.” I grumbled back. “Yeah well too bad. Besides it won’t be all that bad we will help too.” Darry offered. “Nah it’s ok man all we gotta do is move some boxes but can we borrow the truck for the day, it won’t all fit in my Plymouth.” “Yeah sure man.” “Thanks Darry.”

I got up and walked over to the kitchen and dumped my plate in the sink. I walked back out to the living room and sat down on the couch watching Mickey Mouse.

**Kate’s POV**

I strolled out of the bathroom my head feeling better since taking the aspirin an hour ago. I really didn’t want to do much today at all; I just wanted to lay in bed with Two-Bit all day. I walked in and sat on his lap on the couch because the rest of the sofa was taken up by Soda. “Babe I don’t want to move today I just want to stay here with you.” I leaned back against him but making sure not to obstruct his view of the TV. “I know sweetheart me too.” I craned my neck and gave him a weird look “Since when do you call me sweetheart.” I muttered. “Since your my wife and I can call you want I want.” I shrugged and sighed “fair enough.” We sat watching Mickey for a little while longer until we both decided that we should get going. I grabbed my jacket and put on my puts, and walked out the door. “Darry said we can use the truck.” He said and I walked with him to the truck.

“Quick get out!” Two-Bit smiled and shoved me out the door. “What?” I asked very confused. We had just moved all the boxes into the…our house and then he shoved me out the door…My husband sure was a strange one. He then picked me up bridal style and walked through the front door “Welcome to our new home wife!” he kissed me and put me down. “Thankyou husband I love it.” I giggled. “I love you.” I continued and kissed him. We both plopped down on the couch and looked at each other sighing in exhaustion. “I can’t believe we have our own house!” I exclaimed and looking over at him. “I know! We’re married and we have our own house it can’t get any better than this.” He said back excitedly. I moved over to him and kissed him this was the best time of my life.

3 days later…..

I walked back out from the bathroom and the entire gang was in the living room. “Hey guys.” I said sleepily I felt like shit…I didn’t know why but I thought I was just coming down with something. I went to go to the kitchen when I got really dizzy and my body felt numb and I collapsed and blacked out.

I woke up to a hospital room it was sad that it now didn’t surprise me to wake up in a hospital room. I was alone in the room which I found strange because normally I would find Two-Bit next to me. Just then the doctor walked in with a clipboard, “Ah Kate glad to see you’re awake.” He smiled and wrote something down. “Hey Doc where’s my husband, Two-Bit?” “Oh he’s just outside I will go and get him.” I relaxed a bit and Two-Bit came bouncing in. “Hey babe glad to see your awake.” He kissed my forehead and grabbed my hand. “So doctor what’s the diagnosis?” “Uh Kate I don’t know how to say this but you’re pregnant…” he trailed off. “How is that possible? I was told I couldn’t have kids, I had prepared myself for that! You were the one that told me I couldn’t have kids.” I said clearly and annoyed. “I’m sorry I made a mistake it appeared through your results as if you couldn’t but good news is you can. You’re a month along.” I just couldn’t believe it. “I will leave you two to it.” He said and walked out. “Kate…you’re pregnant.” Two-Bit said in a whisper. “I know.” I whispered back then we turned to look at each other and bout cried out in happiness. “I’m pregnant Two…With your baby!” I kissed him hard cupping his face in my hands. “I love you” I say a happy tear rolling down my face. “I love you too babe and our baby!” and he placed a hand on my tummy, it was weird to think I had a human being growing inside me. I the heard a knock on the door and the whole gang walked in. “Hey guys, what’s the news.” Darry asked taking a seat at the end of my bed. Two-Bit and I looked at each other and cheekily smiling. “It’s bad man.” Two-bit’s voice was shaking as if he was about to cry. “Real bad” I mocked. Their faces all went stern and upset “Kate what’s wrong with you?” Steve asked. “Oh you know just that Two-Bits going to be a father in 8 months!” I grinned and they all looked at us with shock and happiness spread across their faces. “Seriously?” Soda asked excitedly. “Yeah man!” Two-Bit stood up. Sodapop got Two in a big bear hug and Darry got me in one too. “Congratulations you guys!” Ponyboy smiled and Johnny just stood there grinning while Dally just sat their half smiling. I was pregnant…me Kate Matthews was pregnant.
