Jane sat outside the frosty palace in complete shock.

Buddy just revealed that his dad paid for him to win the election. Jane wanted to scream and shout because she was so upset.

Going inside Jane told her friends she was leaving and that she would talk to them later.

Looking around she saw Richie dancing with his date and that hurt her just as much as buddy's news. Grabbing her purse she waved to her friends and started the walk home.

~Richie's Pov~
As I was dancing with Lola I could see Jane talking to my sister and Gil. From the look on my sister's face I could tell something was wrong. 

Leaving my date I made my way to my friends but Jane was already gone.

"Liv where did Jane go I need to talk to her."

"You just missed her. Something happened and she said she was going home."

That's all I needed to hear. Grabbing my suit jacket off a chair. I quickly got the car keys from Gil and headed outside.

I could hear Lola calling my name but right now all I wanted to do was be with Jane in her time of need.

~Jane's POV~
I was almost home when I heard a car stop beside me. Stopping in my tracks I saw Richie in the drivers seat of Gil's car.

"Janey can we please talk."

"Why are you going to tell me that you've moved on and how happy Lola makes you."

"No Liv said something happened to you and I wanted to make sure you were ok."

Jane sighed and looked into the brown eyes of the boy who still held her heart.

"Let's just say I learned some very interesting new about the election. "

Richie wanted to say something to make her feel better but right now he needed to get something off his chest.

"Listen Jane I know now isn't the best time to say this but I'm sorry for what happened on Halloween."

"I let my emotions get the better of me and instead of talking to you I just let them explode."

"Richie you should know nothing happed between me and buddy. He isn't the boy I consider to be my soulmate."

Richie let out a sigh and walked around the car and stood in front of Jane.

"I know I have a long way to show you how sorry I am but will you please be my girl."

"I want to say yes but aren't you dating Lola."

"Honestly Jane she couldn't fill the hole you left in my heart."

Jane closes the gap between her and Richie and wraps her arms around his neck.

"Then my answer is yes."

Richie had a confused expression on his face and it caused Jane to laugh."

"Yes Richie I'll be your girl..."

That's all Jane could get out before Richie picked her up and kissed her.

It was at that moment that the couple knew things were going to be ok.
