Tim chuckles to himself as he watches Kirstie wipe the sweat from her brow and then slaps at a mosquito on her leg.

"Having fun yet?" Tim asks with a smirk on his face.

"Oh, be quiet." Kirstie pouts. "I thought we were supposed to have fun. All work and no play make Kirstie a very grumpy girlfriend."

"Well, unless you want to sleep on the ground with the ticks and chiggers, we can go play." Tim laughs as he hammers a stake into the ground.

"Ticks and chiggers? Are you kidding me?" Kirstie says, her voice with a slight hint of panic.

"I kid you not. That's why these tents have to be put up." Tim says as he wipes the sweat from his forehead. 

"Dang. I wasn't expecting it to be this hot." Adam says as he grabs them all cold bottles of water from the cooler.

"It's especially rough on us fat folks." Tim says.

"Timothy?" Kirstie says giving him a warning look.

Tim shrugs as he stands up stretching his back and taking the water from Adam.

Adam and Avi had already come out of their shirts because of the heat. But Tim, being self-conscious about his body, left his on.

"Are we done?" Kirstie asks as she steps back to look at the tent.

"Yep." Tim answers as he pitches their sleeping bag inside the tent and zips the door closed.

"I can't believe that I actually helped put up a tent. D*MNIT!!"She suddenly shouts.

"What' wrong?" Tim asks with a worried tone.

"I broke a freaking nail." She whines as she examines her nails.

The guys laugh as she pouts.

"I'm pretty sure that won't be the only one." Adam laughs.

"So are we done?" Kirstie looks at the guys.

"For right now, we'll have to find some firewood later." Adam answers.

"Firewood? As hot as it is?" Kirstie asks.

"Helps keep the bears away." Tim replies as he reaches down to pick the hammer up from off the ground.

"Wait! BEARS?" Kirstie says raising her voice. "Oh heck no. I'm sleeping in the truck."

Tim laughs as he wraps his arm around her waist. "I'm kidding." Giving her a quick kiss on the cheek. "But seriously, there are coyotes that could come in and eat our food."

"They won't attack us, will they?" She asks.

"No, not unless they feel threatened, same as any animal." Tim says with shrug.

"So now what do we do?" Kirstie asks as she ties her hair back into a sloppy ponytail.

"Cool off." Tim says as he takes her by the hand and heads for the lake.

"Is that rope still in the tree." Avi asks as Adam takes him by the hand and follows Tim and Kirstie.

"Yep." Adam smiles. "I think that's where we're heading."

"Have you ever climbed a tree before?" Tim asks as they approach a large tree on the bank of the lake.

"Uh, no." Kirstie answers quietly.

"Come on, I'll help you. This tree is easy to climb." Tim says as he starts to climb.

"Why are we climbing the tree?" She asks as she tries reaching for his hand.

Adam lifts her up so she can grab Tim's hand.

"Short people, I swear." Adam chuckles.

"We have to climb the tree to get to the rope." Tim answers as he pulls Kirstie up to the limb he was on.

"And then what?" Kirstie asks as she hangs onto the tree.

"We swing out into the lake." Avi answers as he starts to climb up the tree following after his friend.

"Seriously?" She asks.

"Yep." Tim answers as he climbs further up. "You can swim, can't you?"

"Yea, but I've only been in swimming pools never a lake." She comments as she climbs the tree.

"No difference, just don't swallow the water." He smirks as he looks down at her.

They finally reach a small platform that had been built in the tree. Tim reaches and takes a hold of the rope.

"What do I do?" Kirstie asks holding on to the back of Tim's shirt as she looks down at the sparkling water.

"You just swing out and turn loose of the rope. Gravity will do the rest." Tim smiles.

"I can do that." She shrugs.

Avi laughs as Tim gives him and Adam a worried look.

"I'll go first. Just do what I do." Tim says giving her a loving kiss.

She smiles and nods.

"Oh my God." She whispers as Tim jumps from the tree. He swings out over the lake and turns loose of the rope, falling into the lake.

She breathes a sigh of relief when Tim comes to the surface of the water.

Adam catches the rope as it swings back to the tree.

"Think you got it?" Adam asks smiling down at her.

"I truly hope so." She mumbles as she takes the rope from him.

"Come on, Baby. You can do it." Tim calls up to her.

"I was nervous the first time too." Avi smiles. "But I promise, you'll love it."

"Alright, I can do this." She says as she walks slowly up to the edge of the platform. She smiles down at her lover waiting patiently in the water. "Here goes nothing." She says before taking a calming breath and jumps.

The guys laugh hysterically as she screams the entire time.

Tim swims over to her as she comes to the surface. With a huge grin on her face, she throws her arms around the neck of her boyfriend and plants a hard kiss on his lips.

"I DID IT!!" She shouts, pushing some of her wet hair from her face. "I actually did it!!"

"I never had any doubt." Tim smiles as he kisses her.

They swim over to the side, moving out of Avi's way.

Avi takes off his snapback and pitches it to the ground near the trunk of the tree. After giving Adam a quick kiss, he jumps.

"WOOOO!!" Kirstie yells as Avi hits the water.

Avi comes to the surface and swims over to Tim and Kirstie.

Adam catches the rope and as soon as he sees Avi is out of harms way, he jumps.

Just as soon as he turns loose of the rope, he brings his knees up to his chest, wrapping his arms around his legs.

"OH SH*T!" Tim yells as he sees his friend cannonballing towards the water.
