"Wow!" Tim says as he wads off into the water. "A little cold." He chuckles.

"Is it?" Kirstie asks with a nervous look on her face.

"A little. But it will be alright once you get use to it." Tim says. "Be careful on the rocks. They're a little slippery. Give me your hand." He smiles up at her, holding out his hand.

"Don't you dare let me fall." She warns, squinting her eyes at him.

"I'm not gonna let you fall." Tim chuckles.

She reaches and takes Tim's hand as she slowly steps into the water.

"Oh my Lord! It IS cold." Kirstie says, tightening her grip on Tim's hand.

"It's not that bad once you get use to it." Tim smiles as he helps her into the water.

"It'll definitely cool you off." She giggles.

"You do look pretty hot." Tim smirks and winks.

"Oh, you think so?" Kirstie smiles. "You look a little hot yourself. Let me help cool you off."

And with that she scoops up a hand full of water and throws it at Tim.

"Oh, you were so wrong for that." Tim laughs as he wipes the water from his face. Without warning he kicks on water on her.

She squeals as the cool water hits her.

"Oh, it's on!" She laughs as she begins to kick water and the battle started.

They laugh and shower each other with water for several minutes until a small branch floating in the stream, rubs Kirstie on the leg.

She screams and jumps into Tim's arms, wrapping her legs around him.

"OH MY GOD! PLEASE TELL ME THAT WASN'T A SNAKE!!??" She screams as she wraps her arms tightly around his neck.

"No." Tim laughs as he tries to keep his balance. "It was just a branch."

"Oh." She giggles softly. "Stupid branch."

"I don't think it was so stupid." Tim smiles. "It got you in my arms."

They stare into each other's eyes, Kirstie's legs and arms still wrapped around him.

"Are you wanting to kiss me?" Kirstie asks, biting her bottom lip as she played with Tim's hair.

"Very much so." Tim answers softly.

"Then what are you waiting on." She smiles.

Tim leans in and kisses her softly. Chills runs up and down Kirstie's spine. It wasn't a long kiss but just enough to leave her wanting more.

They break the kiss and again stares into each other's eye. Tim smiles and winks at her.

She giggles and pulls him in for another kiss. This one with a little more passion.

Suddenly Tim's foot slips off the rock they had been standing on, twisting his ankle.

He screams out in pain as he falls. She screams as they both fall into the stream. The water soaking them both from head to toe.

"Oh my God, Tim, are you alright?" She asks, quickly raising up off of him.

He grimaces as he reaches for his ankle. "I think I twisted my d*mn ankle. Wait your knee is bleeding."

Kirstie looks down at her skinned knee.

"What are we suppose to do now?" She asks, fanning her now stinging knee.

"I guess we need to try and get to the four-wheeler." Tim says, looking closer at her knee to make sure there were no deep cuts.

"It's not bad, just a little scratched up." She smiles at his worried expression.

"I really screwed this up, didn't I." Tim groaned as he tries to get up without putting any weight on his ankle.

"Hey." She says softly, running her hand through his hair. "I've had the most fun I've ever had today." She pouts at him when he hangs his head, disappointed with himself. She pulls gently on his whiskers. "And I can't wait for our next date."

"You mean you're willing to go out with me again after this was a total disaster?" Tim asks as he slowly limps toward the four-wheeler. Pain shooting in his ankle with every step. He ankle already swelling and turning blue.

"This wasn't a disaster." She laughs. "Tim, this is by far the most fun I've ever had on a date. You brought me to this beautiful place for the perfect picnic. You carried me for a ride on a four-wheeler. Something that I've always wanted to do. You got me into a stream that I would have never even thought about getting into. And you kissed me. Something that I've been dreaming about from the first time I laid eyes on you. And it was perfect."

"Kirst?" Tim started but then had second thoughts and shook his head. "Never mind." He climbs painfully onto the 4-wheeler.

"What were you fixing to say?" She asks as she rubs him lightly on the leg.

"Uh, I know this is just our first date and all." He says as he nervously tugs at the bottom of his tee shirt. "And... and I know I don't fit in with your crowd. But I was...." He stops and takes a deep breath. "I was kind of wondering if you... Uh.... if you would be." He runs a hand nervously through his hair.

"Be your girlfriend?" She smiles at his nervousness.

"Yea. I mean, I would totally understand if you didn't..... I know I maybe rushing things a little, but I really like you a lot and......." Tim was cut off by Kirstie's lips quickly pressing against his. 

Kirstie broke the kiss and Tim gasp for air.

"I'm hoping that I can take that as a Yes." Tim chuckles as Kirstie turns around with a huge smile on her face and grabs their shoes.

"Not just a yes, Timmy Boy, but a HELL YEAH!!!" She shouts out then grabs him around the neck in a tight hug.
