Chapter 3
Dipper POV
I couldn't believe it, but what the actions were from Grunkle Ford, everything was started to clear up a bit. The real question is why I took the stone and why can't I remember. "Grunkle Ford I really don't know how this could happen?" I said. He shrugs, "I'm not sure myself. You just snuck in and took it and made sure that nobody was in your way. That's why I brought the crossbow." I sigh, "So what are you going to do to me?" I needed to know what is going to happen to me.
He sighs, "Well you don't have the stone with you and you didn't absorb the power because you hands aren't that burned. It would have been worse if you did. It's so powerful that even if you hold it, it starts to burn you. I could see it on your hands. So you must have hid it somewhere, sigh, I'm not sure what is going to happen to you. The main point at the moment is to find the stone before someone else does. Luckily I have something at home that could bring back memories."
Then he picks me up in a baby carrier way, "I'll still have my crossbow loaded and ready to use if needed. try anything and I will be force to shoot." Grunkle Ford warn me. The crossbow was in his left hand, where my legs where, and the crossbow was pointing up to my ribs. I'm not sure what he thinks I'm going to do but I guess it makes since, I wouldn't trust me either.
Mabel POV
We spent basically all morning and part of the afternoon, explaining to Mom and Dad. I still think by the end they still don't understand. I don't understand all of it myself still, but I know and understand more then my parents though.
I was sitting down at the kitchen table listening to Dad chewing out Grunkle Stan. Then the sound of the door opening and closing came. I turn around and saw Grunkle Ford carrying Dipper. Grunkle Ford laid Dipper on the recliner in the living room. "What happen?" Mom gasps as she races to Dipper. "Mom? Dad?" Dipper questioned. He was very confused like Grunkle Ford was.
After Dipper was hugged by Mom, Dipper explained, "I just twisted my ankle and fell. I'm fine. What are you doing here?" Mom started to explain everything to Dipper while Dad went up to Grunkle Ford, "Stanford what is the crossbow for?" For me I wanted to say to fight off monsters but Mom and Dad wouldn't believe me. Grunkle Ford looked at Grunkle Stan, "Um...Stanley can I talk to you." I wasn't surprise how fast Grunkle Stan said yes. They left the room and out of view.
"Wait we are leaving?" Dipper cried out.
"Yes, tomorrow." Mom reply.
Then I saw Dipper put his hands on the sides of his head, with a face full of pain. "We would have left today but you need time to pack...honey what's wrong?" Mom continues. "Dipper?" I ask. Dipper seems to be in a lot of pain. I started to walk towards him. Thoughts were running through my head. What did they do in the forest? What happened out there because I'm not totaling believing that Dipper fell and twisted his ankle was the full story. There was much more. "Son, do you need an aspirin?" Dad asks. We all gather around him. I'm not too sure that everyone should be doing that.
"No.....NO! We...can't leave!" Dipper cried out.
"Honey we have to." Mom said gently as she touches his shoulder.
"NO!" Dipper snap sharply and stronger and jerk away from Mom, "No, we can't leave!" Then Dipper just got up, shoving who was in the way, but he quickly fell to the ground in pain from his ankle. I wanted to help him. I too didn't want to leave. I had friends here, Waddles, and crazy fun adventures. I also don't want to move away, father away from Gravity Falls. I feel like this is my home.
"Son, we know you want to stay but we are leaving." Dad said strongly.
"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!" Dipper shouted.
"Look, you are being over dramatic about this, Dipper. You and Mabel are going to come with us tomorrow. Now Mabel help Dipper pack."
I gave a small nod. I then went up to Dipper. Dipper was still having his hands on the side of his head in pain. I don't know what is going on with him, but I needed to ask him once we are in our room. I pulled Dipper up to his feet and have one of Dipper around my shoulders. It's a good thing I'm 1 mm taller than him, this makes it a bit easier. Then Dipper put all of his weight on me. Dipper still had one hand on his head. Then we trotted up the stairs which was incredibly hard. With Dipper not helping, we were going up the stairs slower and slower as we go up. Then finally we made it up the stairs. I then notice how Dipper was. He was dragging his good foot and leaning hard on me, and he was sweating, and I felt his grip slipping.
"Dipper?" I ask. Dipper mumbles something but I couldn't make it out. "Dipper are you alright?" I ask. I was getting worried about Dipper. I then quickly lead him into our room. I then laid Dipper on his bed. He sat on his bed, and I looked at him. He was pale, sweaty and had both hands on his head while his elbows were on his knees. "Dipper are you alright?" I ask again. It took a moment for an answer, "I'm...I'm fine.....sitting...sitting helps." He mumbles. I don't believe him. "Are you sure? You don't look to well. Is there anything I can do?" "Um...Eh...Aspirin...please."
Alright I could help. I gave a small smile, "Alright, just sit tight." Dipper gave a small nod. I then quickly went into our bathroom and open the mirror cabinet. I scan for the bottle of aspirin and I quickly found it. I took out two pills and stuff then in my hand. I then filled up a glass cup full of water. Then I went back to our room and couldn't believe what I saw.
