Everyone is wondering if Gravity Falls will continue for another season. Most and I say no because Bill is the main antagonist and he's getting defeated soon. However, Alex is releasing a replica of the Journal. Why would it be out in 2016 if it's ending this year? It might be because of the time it takes to produce that many copies (what i think.) But to you another season Hopers it might be due to the next season coming out.
