For girls (or guys if your guy likes wearing dresses, ig)

(Crush) is the heir/heiress to the (Crush's last name) Kingdom, and you are the heiress to the (Your last name) Kingdom. Before dinner, your favorite handmaid (girl best friend) has come up to get you ready for a surprise visit (to you at least) from the (C/L/N) royal family, that your parents had arranged so they could introduce you and inform the both of you that you had been betrothed to each other. (G/B/F) dresses you in one of your fancier dresses (even if you prefer pants, your parents stated that you must be wearing a nice dress), and does your hair before bringing you downstairs to the dining hall where your parents are waiting for you.

For guys

(Crush) is the heir/heiress to the (Crush's last name) Kingdom, and you are the heir to the (Your last name) Kingdom. Before dinner, your favorite valet (va-lei, male personal servant) (male best friend) came up to get you ready for a surprise (to you at least) visit from the (C/L/N) royal family that your parents had arranged so they could introduce you, and inform the both of you that you had been betrothed to each other. (M/B/F) dresses you in one of your fancier suits, and fixes your hair before bringing you downstairs to the dining hall where your parents are waiting for you.

You found out that, even after promising you that they never would, your parents had betrothed you to the neighboring powerful kingdom, the (enemy's last name) kingdom. What made it even worse was that you couldn't stand the Prince/Princess, who was stuck up, snobbish, and just as power hungry as their parents. So, with the help of your handmaid/valet, you decided to run away. You packed a small bag with some normal-looking clothes, and your handmaid/valet brought a bag full of food from the kitchen for you, as well as handing you a pouch full of plenty of gold, silver, and bronze coins for you to spend on things like food and shelter. You snuck out to the stables and grabbed you horse later that night, and quickly rode out of your palace gates with the help of some of the guards patrolling them. Later on in your adventure, you ran into what you would find out later was the Prince/Princess of the (C/L/N) kingdom who had ran away as well.
