If I Met Bill Cipher!

The sun was gone from the sky, the long stretch of light blue now being a dark navy as a girl lay down onto her bed. This girl seemed completely normal, save for the fact that one of her hands had a birthmark on her middle finger. However, unlike many girls, she never played with Barbies or plastic dolls. On the contrary, she loved action movies and hated brushing her hair and applying copious amounts of makeup.

The girl's name was Molly, a socially awkward and odd child with an unknown obsession. She loved a show called Gravity Falls and was not afraid to show it. Most people that she talked to either hated or hadn't heard of the action-packed show. Because of this and her awkward, slightly shy, and sensitive personality, she found it hard to communicate with her classmates and others around her, even being teased by a small group of boys for liking the show one year.

Despite this, she managed to stay happy and calm and, instead of being bitter, became sweet and subdued, deciding to be the one who followed the rules and not be the one who went against them and got in trouble all the time.

As she lay on her bed, watching YouTube videos and slacking on her before-bed duties, her eyes started to droop. She let them fall shut for a few seconds before snapping them back open.

"No~! Stay awake! You still need to shower, brush your teeth, change....into...."

She didn't finish as her eyes relaxed and her breathing slowed. It felt too good to have her eyes closed and, eventually, she gave in and fell asleep.

She awoke to a world of gray, her room seemingly suspended in time. Blinking, Molly sat up, criss-crossing her legs and gaping. This scenario seemed exceedingly familiar to her, as if she had been in this monochromatic version of her room before.

Suddenly, it dawned on her.

"Woah, is this-is this my mind? Sweet!" She smiled, her mouth open and eyes gleaming as she stood up on her bed.

"I wonder," Molly said, thinking of something she had wanted all her life.

When she opened her eyes once again, she looked at her back. Connected to her shoulder blades were two, feathery, angelic wings. The girl smiled wider than she ever had in her life as she giggled insanely, testing the new limbs excitedly. They worked and, as she was slowly lifted off of the ground, she looked around her room again.

There was something missing. Something happened whenever somebody was transported to their Mindscape in her favorite show. Something would appear and always no matter who the person was, ruin the dream. What was it?

She gasped, her eyes widening and heart suddenly racing. Her wings froze mid-flap and she dropped back onto her bed, somewhat painfully, may I add.

Bill. Bill Cipher always appeared whenever this happened.

Molly loved Bill. He was her favorite character in the show and, like many people who watched other shows and was in other fandoms, was kind-of embarrassed to admit that she maybe had a bit of a thing for him. (A/N:Come on, we've all been there! Don't look at me that way! 3:<) She couldn't help it (A/N:And neither could you! ....Okay I'm done.) the fan art of his human form that many people drew was attractive and he just had this...insane personality that made you just wish that he was your friend and that he wasn't the terrifying and disturbing demon that he sometimes was in the show. It was odd and embarrassing to admit but, as odd and embarrassing as it was, it was true.

However, unlike the reaction that most fangirls might have, she experienced the opposite. She was scared. Scared of what he would think of her. Scared of being hurt by him. Scared of being scared. Sure, she was kind-of fangirling but, mixed in was this feeling of terror that she really couldn't explain.

What would he look like in the real world? Would he be terrifyingly hyperrealistic or his normal, cartoony self? Would he be an entertaining yet slightly annoying butt like in the show or would he be a jerk? These questions spun around her mind over and over again, scaring her further and driving her nearly to tears.

Finally, she felt it. She felt a presence. It was that feeling of being watched; that strange, otherworldly feeling that seemed to be a sixth sense that only certain creatures possessed.

He was here. He was around this place and would show himself at any moment.

She braced herself.

"Yellow!"

Her ear felt like it turned towards the sudden, echoey, familiar voice as she gulped. Slowly, she turned her head towards the sound.

Her stuffed animal, the handmade, felt plushie that she had made of Bill was floating. It's body seemed to glow as well, as if there were a lightbulb inside of it, and it moved on its own, the thin, felt arms bending so that its hands were resting on its "hips".

Her jaw dropped as she backed up, pushing some of the comforter away with her feet as she did a sort-of crab walk away from the unnatural, floating, stuffed being. she nearly fell off of the side of her bed in her frantic, natural actions to get away.

The Bill plush seemed unamused with her actions as an eyelid that had previously not been sewn on there lowered in slight annoyance.

"Hey, kid, seriously?" It crossed its arms, one half of it's eyelid bending upward as if raising an eyebrow.

"B-B-Bu-But-But, you're-?"

"O' course I'm real, kid! And stop stuttering, it's really annoying."

"You-You-Sorry b-but, I just...I just wasn't expecting...this! I thought you were a character on a T.V. show! How are you even alive anyways? Is it some sorta' black magic? Wh-"

"Kid, kid calm down! You're starting to sound like Pine Tree! Yeesh! You watch those theory videos! You figure it out!"

Molly closed her eyes and sighed, calming herself down before continuing.

"Okay, I'm okay. So, I'm guessing that, when the pines quote-on-quote destroyed you, they only destroyed your physical form and you were banished to this dimension?"

"DING DING DING! WE'VE GOT A WINNER, FOLKS! WHAT DOES THE PRETTY GIRL WIN, JOHNNY?" The demon was suddenly holding a microphone and wearing a decorative, fancy tuxedo.

The girl flushed at this (A/N: I don't blush for whatever reason.) and smiled, awkwardly, trying to keep her eyes off of the eccentric pyramid.

"Ookaaayyy, so, if you don't have a physical form, why exactly are you in my plushie of you? We're in a dream."

"Because I wanted to freak you out," He suddenly removed himself from the fabric triangle and seemed to smile. "Spitting image by the way! Great job!"

"Thanks? Uh-I-I mean, thank you," she grinned and then went onto the thing she was wondering the most about.

"So, uh, why are you here? I-I mean, it's not that you're unwelcome here just that-y'know, out of everyone-"

"I have absolutely no clue! I just decided to come here at random, I guess! Also, I'm welcome anywhere I want! Everywhere is where I belong! I'm like the king of everything!"

"Not anymore," The human smirked.

"Don't rub it in," Bill growled, unamused.

She laughed at this, apologizing after catching her breath.

"You know, just for that, I think I'm going to take over this universe after I find a way to get back to my own and, as an added bonus, you will be the first to go!" He "smiled" poking Molly in the chest proudly.

"NOOOO-wait..How exactly are you planning to accomplish that anyways? There's no rift here, the television series is over, aaand-you're just gonna find Alex Hirch and ask for him to create some possible way for you to get back, aren't you?"

"BINGO! You're on a roll today, toots!"

"Please don't call me that..."

"What? Why? I always call human females that! Unless of course you wanna be called fleshbag, meatsack, or-"

"Alright! Toots is fine!" She interrupted him, looking slightly disturbed by the nicknames he was casually listing out on his inky black fingers.

The demon laughed again at the human's reaction. Humans were just too fun to mess with!

"Hey, wanna see you're cat be turned inside-out?"

"NO!" The girl screamed grabbing Bill's arm, his fingers already posed to snap.

The demon's eye widened at the sudden contact and he looked from his arm to the human, uncomfortably. Realizing what she was doing, she let go of him and showed him her palms, an obvious sign for him to stay and not do anything.

"N-No, I would rather not see the insides of my cat on the outside, thank you very much! I like my cat the way he is."

"Yeesh, I was just jokin', kid! If it bothers ya' that much, I can always turn a bird inside-out for ya'!" Bill laughed once again, rubbing his wrist and mumbling something about a strong grip under his breath.

Molly shivered, feeling slightly uncomfortable about the current conversation. She opted to change the subject and tried to think fast. However, being awkward in conversation isn't really the best trait and, instead of thinking quickly, her mind went into an off-topic tangent, thinking about one topic and then changing into questions about gravity falls, and then back to other topics. This flipping between topics resulted in an awkward silence between the two creatures, the demon deciding to take this time to look around the human's room.

In reality, Bill was just trying to avoid a headache of his own. The insanity of Molly's constantly changing thoughts was getting to be a bit too much for the mind-reading demon.

The pyramid floated over to the girl's dresser which was cluttered with papers and other random things. Apon the dresser were two books stacked one on top of the other. The bottom book was "Five Nights at Freddy's, The Silver Eyes" and on top of it was Stephen King's "The Dead Zone". What struck him most was the fact that these two novels were horror novels. He would never have thought the human on the bed to be a fan of horror.

He picked up "The Silver Eyes" and turned it over to look at the back. He had read every novel from before Gravity Falls was made. During the time the show was going on, he had little time to read or go look at new books that were coming out. This book was one he had not read and was intrigued at the description.

"What's this about?" He asked, holding the book with his two, tiny hands and showing the cover to the human.

Molly snapped back to reality and looked at the cover.

"You don't know what Five Nights At Freddy's is?"

"I am faintly aware."

"Well, the book is about a girl named Charlie who went to this restaurant as a child. The restaurant has four animatronic characters, Freddy the bear, Chica the chicken, Bonnie the bunny, and Foxy the pirate fox. It's based on a video game in which they all come to life at night and attack people. Funnily enough, a bit of time after the first game's release, the episode of Gravity Falls with the animatronics that came to life aired. The more you know..." She put her hands over her head and pulled them apart, a rainbow connecting them as she grinned, derpily.

"Interesting...," he looked at the book and then made it disappear.

"Hey! That's mine! Give it back!"

"Not anymore!"

"Bill, I swear to god-!"

"Whaddya' gonna do 'bout it, huh?"

"I-I'll-," She paused, thinking of her options.

"I'll Gaster Blast you!" The human smirked, her nerdy side coming through.

"What?" Bill was confused. What was a "Gaster Blast"?

Suddenly two skeletal, canine-looking heads appeared beside Molly, both pointing at Bill. The demon snickered and then broke out into a full out chortle.

"Dog heads? You're going to defeat me with dog heads? Okay, I'll play your game, toots!" He snapped, two screaming heads appearing by his side.

"What now? How are you going to defeat me n-?"

Before the demon could finish his sentence, two beams of blue light enveloped him, masking him from the human momentarily. When the light died down, the glowing pyramid was black with soot, his pupil a small dot in the center of his big, white eye. He seemed to cough, some ashes puffing off of him as he did so before he raised his pointer finger up.

"I did not see that coming."

"Book, please," Molly said, her hand outstretched, palm facing up.

Bill sighed, grumbling as the book reappeared in his hands. "I've really gotta find a way to limit the use of the Mindscape to just me.."

The human took the book quickly, smirking. "Thank you!"

"Y'know what, no! Give that back to me, now!" The demon's voice suddenly reverted to a much more deep one. He was fed up and wanted to keep that book.

The girl's eyes widened, knowing that when Bill's voice changed, he meant business.

"B-But it's mine.."

The triangle swiped it from her hands and held it in one hand, growing larger and gaining an extra appendage to hold the book in. His colors were slowly fading to red.

"It's not yours until we get this straight! I am the more advanced being and I am ALWAYS the commander, NEVER the slave! We are having a rematch! Whomever wins gets the book!"

"O-Ok-kay..," The human squeaked.

Bill held up two of his hands and started to charge a beam of light. Molly's eyes turned towards the steadily growing energy ball in the demon's grasp and her mind went into hyperdrive once again, this time thinking of ways to attack back. Suddenly, she had it! All she had to do was-!

BOOM!

The light from the blast blinded both beings in the room. It hurt Bill's eye but, at that moment, he didn't care. He was going to prove that he was the highest ranking being. That he was the alpha.

After a few seconds, the light finally started to fade. Bill blinked and rubbed his eye frantically, trying to regain eyesight. Finally he succeeded and surveyed the damage. The human was lying down, seemingly unconscious from the blast.

Wait....She's not breathing...

The demon reverted back to his normal self, his eye showing a look of confusion as he approached the girl, slowly. This was impossible. He couldn't kill anyone in the Mindscape, Could he?

"Kid? Hey, you okay?" He asked, floating closer to the human, cautiously.

"Kid, stop messin' around! You can't die in the Mindscape!...Well...I'm not sure if you can, I've never seen it happen before. Anyways, stop trying to trick me!"

No answer.

"Molly?" He reached towards her face and poked her cheek gently.

Suddenly, she sat up and yelled, grabbing the book from his hand. He was startled and screamed back, shooting a fire ball at her. It hit her chest and blew the wind out of her. The human took a deep breath, regaining the oxygen she needed before laughing hysterically, rolling around on her comforter.

"OMG! YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN YOUR FACE! PRICELESS!" Molly could hardly breathe at this point and tears were running down her cheeks.

Bill panted, his eye wide before regaining his composure and growling.

"Hah, hah, mmhmm, very funny."

"Well," the human panted, grinning. "Now you know how us humans feel when you scare us! HAH!" She pointed at him, smirking.

He rolled his eye at this and crossed his arms, unamused.

"Ah, cheer up, it was just a joke!" Molly grinned, trying her best to imitate the demonic triangle from earlier.

Bill looked away, still glaring before sighing.

"Fine, I get it now. My jokes can be kind-of terrifying."

"Kind-of?" She crossed her arms, raising an eyebrow.

The pyramid sighed. "Really terrifying."

The human grinned.

Suddenly, the creatures' surroundings began to fade.

Bill looked around, Molly following his actions before looking back at the demon and cocking her head to the side.

"Looks as though you're waking up, kid."

"Shoot, already? Dang and when everything was getting good, too..," She pouted.

"Eh, I wouldn't call it good.."

"Well, I was enjoying it," the human shrugged.

The demon rolled his eye, seeming to put on a smirk.

"See ya in your nightmares, Molly!"

"See ya!"

As their surroundings faded to darkness, one last thought crossed the human's mind.

"Wait, YOU CALLED ME BY NAME..TWICE!!"

Molly woke up slowly, rubbing the drowsiness out of her eyes and yawning. The dream she had last night was amazing. What was it again? Oh, yeah! She met her favorite character of all time and quote-on-quote "defeated" him at a mind duel!

"What a dream," the girl sighed. "Wish it were real though..."

As she got up off of her place on the bed, she noticed something on her dresser next to her Stephen King book. She walked over to it, curiously and took a peek. It was a note written on a piece of yellow paper.

The handwriting was extremely tidy and in a fancy, cursive font. The pen ink seemed relatively fresh on the page, she noticed, as she read it.

Dear, Molly

That wasn't a dream...Well, yeah, it was but, you get my drift. That was the most..Unique dream I've experienced with a human. Usually they freak out. You, though...You are interesting. You freaked out a bit, for sure but, you spoke to me as if I hadn't done anything wrong and acted like I was a normal person. You are weird. Not a bad weird, just a different weird. I might be back again...Keyword: MIGHT. I want to study you a bit more so, even if I don't show up in your dreams, I'll be keeping an eye on you. Try to keep mini-me on hand?

Best Regards; Bill Cipher

(P.S.: I will return your book in a week or less. (I'm a fast reader!))

After reading the note and being fully shocked, Molly could only say one thing...

"CIPHER!!!"

(A/N: I hope you guys liked this one! I sure did! It was fun to write Bill close to how he is on the show! I just hope that this doesn't seem too rushed! I wanted to get this out before I go to camp for three weeks so, I hope this is sufficient enough to hold you guys! I also hope that this gave you at least a few laughs! I can be pretty terrible at comedy sometimes...ANYWHOO!!! SEE YA IN THE NEXT UPDATE!)
