Warning: chapter is pretty short (Btw guys pacifica is friends with Mabel, Dipper and Gideon)

(Pacifica's POV)

I looked out the window of the store and noticed Gideon and Amada. I had seen them walking around earlier which is why I pushed Mabel into the clothing store. Am I avoiding them? Uh yeah.

    "Shit" I whispered under my breath.I grabbed Mabel's arm without saying anything pulling her away from their view. My phone started to vibrate in my pocket. When I take it out I'm not surprised at all to see it was Gideon calling.  "Brb. Just gonna take this" I tell Mabel, as I point to my phone. She nods and Im relived she didnt question me even tho i literally dragged her away from the window. I pick up my phone knowing that I can't avoid this. 

"Pacifica, why are you making Mabel avoid me?" Gideon's voice said through the phone with like he already knew the answer

 "Uhhh... you know I got nothing" Pacifica asked

 "I thought you trusted me" he responded 

 "I do, I swear" something inside me started to hurt. I think Dipper called it guilt or remorse... I forget which one.

"I've changed Pacifica. Both you and Dipper know this. I want Mabel to see that i've changed too. You should understand that more than anyone" I could hear the dissapointment in his voice. Which thank goodness had changed. You know when someone moves somewhere and they naturally pick up on the accent? Gideon has been gone from the south long enough that he no longer sounds southern. He just sounds like anther townsperson. Now its not that i have anything against southern accents.. I just hated his. Can you blame me? The voice he had now was gentle and soft. It made my guilt? feel worse. I walked back to Mabel, tried on a lime colored dress and we both approved and payed for our dresses.

"Ready to go?"

"Yep" she responded smiling at me. Mabel's happiness showing it was still there. It was nice to see. She was like the human version of sunshine. Even with the obvious changed to her personality. She's more sarcastic and not as naive. Our past selves are just apart of who we are now.
