Spank

"Walker!" Roxie picked up the jacket and tossed it back to him, "I won't wear this."

"It's mine and you're mine," Walker said, tossing it back, "Put it on."

"No!"

"I swear I will bend you over my knee and spank the shit out of you in front of all of these people if you don't."

Roxie really wanted to push his buttons, but not to that limit. She put on the jacket—which practically swallowed her whole.

"That's better," Walker huffed and sat down next to her.

"This isn't better. You're a nuance."

"I told you what this was all about."

"You told me to show off my body."

"To me, rodent!" His voice was hushed, but people were still turning to watch what was happening, "Not anyone else."

"You weren't specific."

"I thought I made myself clear,-"

"Hey!" Connie Brent—ex-fling of Walker's—approached the table and waved a pamphlet around, "We've got tickets for prom going on sale now, you guys!"

Roxie rolled her eyes and went back to sketching.

"Two please," Walker said, fishing for his wallet.

"Oh?"Connie's eyes beamed, "And who's the lucky lady?"

Walker turned to Roxie who was still doodling and paying him no mind.

"This one."

Roxie looked up, "What?"

"You..me..prom."

"No," Roxie shook her head, "Walker...I can't.."

"Yes you can and yes you will."

Connie smirked and handed over the tickets. Walker pocketed them and sat back, watching Roxie watch him.

"What?"

"What do you mean what? I am not even going to prom. This is ridiculous."

"Oh, it's just a dance."

"Just a dance?"

"Yeah, if you weren't going in the first place then who cares if you go with me?"

"Do you have an answer for everything?"

"I do and so do you."

"Don't compare yourself to me."

"What a mouth," Walker shook his head, "You sure do know how to use it."

"Are you eating or just annoying the shit out of me?"

"Both," Walker looked at her empty spot, "Why aren't you eating?"

"I am not hungry."

Walker—who could link very little to people's pain—could hear her stomach growl.

"Why are you lying?" Walker huffed, "If you're hungry, I will buy you some food. Do you need your money upfront?"

Roxie didn't look at him when she grabbed her belongings and walked off, leaving Walker alone.

Connie strolled back over and smiled, "Trouble in paradise, Walker?"

Walker growled and ran after Roxie who had surprisingly not hid her scent from him as she made her way down the hill and to an oak tree.

"What? Do you need money?"

"I don't need your money,"Roxie said, "Just leave me alone."

"No, I need you to eat," Walker said, sitting next to her, "I can't use you if you're dead."

"I,-"

"Hey, Roxie!" Jesse walked over to the two who'd huddled together underneath the oak tree. Jesse looked to Walker and then back at his ex, confused, "Are you going to prom?"

Roxie started to speak when Walker wrapped an arm around her shoulder, "She's going with me, Jesse."

Jesse frowned, "You are?"

Roxie nodded, "I am."

"Oh..I was..I was hoping...."

"What exactly were you hoping, Jesse?" Walker asked, narrowing his eyes, "You cheat on her with her best friend and you want to make things up by taking her to prom?"

"What the fuck is your game, Walker?" Jesse snarled, stepping forward—his eyes glowing red, "I don't care who the fuck you are in this town—you don't scare me."

"You should be scared, Jesse, especially when it comes to what's mine," Walker stepped closer to him, "Or do we have a fucking problem?"

"When did you two become an item?" Jesse asked, folding his arms across his chest, "Rebounding, Roxie?"

Before Jesse could say another word, Walker's fist clocked him in the jaw, sending Jesse to his knees.

"I don't want her name even crossing your mind, Timmons," Walker growled, using Jesse's last name, "You're not worthy to be with her—you don't deserve her."

Jesse—not one to back down—jumped up and rushed Walker who easily tossed him over his shoulder.

"Walker!" Roxie screeched, "Stop it!"

"I'm just getting started!"

The fight caused a commotion and students came flying out of the building to watch the skirmish.

"Jesse!" Felicity yelled, looking at Roxie who was getting in between the two men, "Shit!"

"Stop it! What the hell is wrong with you?" She asked, shoving Walker off of Jesse.

"What? Me?!" Walker shook his head, "You're mine, mouse."

He pulled her close to him and tossed her over his shoulder.

"PUT ME DOWN!!"

"No, you wanted to make a spectacle, rodent! You got one."

Roxie slapped his back and kicked her legs as hard as she could.

"Stop touching my ass!" She yelped as Walker carried her all the way back into the cafeteria, passed teachers and students and faculty—his large stature moving people out of the way just with his presence.

Once inside the cafeteria, he placed her in a chair and jabbed a finger in her chest.

"Stay."

"What?" Roxie panted, her eyes darting around the room.

"I said stay. I am getting you some food, you will eat it, you will like it and then we're going to get the hell out of here."

"I am not going anywhere with you, Walker!" Roxie shot back, "That shit you pulled outside was ludicrous. Jesse still likes me!"

"And you like him? A man who broke your heart?"

"What do you think you're doing? You're driving me insane with your antics and bullying! I cannot do this, Walker. I don't know what this is we have going on, but there's got to be something else happening."

"Stay here while I get you some lunch," Walker said, not indulging her comments any further.

"You don't own me. I won't,-"

"You've got no choice," Walker leaned in, their noses practically touching, "I want you to understand this, you are mine until the night of graduation and then you're free to go."

"Why after graduation? What the hell does that have to do with anything?"

"This," Walker handed her an envelope, "You're invited to the ball."

Roxie looked at the sealed envelope like it was a foreign object or a hot poker.

"You'll be finding your mate there," Walker said, shoving the envelope in her hands, "Congratulations."

"My...mate?" Roxie opened the envelope and sure enough she'd been invited to the ball, "How the hell did you get my mail?"

"Your mailbox, of course," Walker rolled his eyes, "So, you're mine until graduation because the ball is the night after and you'll never have to see me again."

"That's like being held hostage, you jerk!"

"I am taking care of you now," Walker whispered, lifting her chin up so her eyes would meet his gaze.

"So you'd better get used to it."
