Nuts
"God dammit, stop doing that!" Walker held his chest as Roxie appeared beside him holding the bag of donuts, "You're gonna give me a fucking heart attack."
"What's wrong with you?" She stood in front of him now trying to look up at him, but Walker kept turning his head, "You're acting like a child."
"Excuse me?"
"I said, you're acting like a child. You're being ridiculous. You don't need that right now," she pointed to the flask, "What has you all worked up? Was it Victor?"
"Can you not say his name?"
"Why not?"
"Because I'm sure you'll be screaming it by the time your date with him is over."
"Are you jealous?"
Walker scoffed and narrowed his eyes, "You can walk back to the cabin then."
"W-what?" Roxie stammered, "I can walk?"
"That's what I said."
"God, I hate you. You're a miserable person, Walker," Roxie shoved her hand in the bag and pulled out a donut hole, chucking it at his head.
"What the hell?" Walker threw his arms up to guard himself from being pelted with the pastries, "Roxie!"
"No! Take all of this, Walker!" She kept throwing the donuts, much to the amusement of Holden and the others who'd actually stuck around in the parking lot to chat, "Here's a jelly one for you!"
She aimed right at his face, the jelly oozing out of the thrown donut.
Out of breath, Roxie tossed the paper bag in the trash and started walking—she shrugged herself out of his jacket and tossed it on the ground, grabbing her sweater from her bag and putting it on.
"That was the funniest shit I've ever seen in my life," Eric snickered, "You good, bro?"
"No."
"Hey, Rox!" Victor called out, "Need a ride?"
"Yeah, I need to go to school."
"Well, hop in! That's where I'm heading."
"Thanks."
"No, you're not going with him," Walker hissed down her back, "Don't make me look like an asshole in front of these people."
"But that's what you're being, Walker," Roxie turned around to face him, "An asshole."
With his eyes turned to silver then gold, he lost all self-control and dipped her, smashing his lips into hers as his tongue found it's way inside of her mouth.
"Well, shit..." Oliver chuckled, "This is...quite the fucking soap opera."
Roxie was kissing him back, holding his shoulders until she clawed her way out of his hold.
"Stop this..." She pleaded, "Let me go..."
She turned to Victor who was revving the engine and got into his car, not once looking back at Walker. She could taste the jelly donut.
"What's going on with you two?" Victor asked.
"I haven't the slightest clue..."
"What the hell, bro? Clean yourself up," Eric shook his head, "Fucking Alpha dick over here."
"What are you planning on doing with her?" Oliver asked, his eyes glistening in anticipation, "I mean, it's Roxie Reynolds. What game are you playing with her?"
Walker didn't answer them. He went to the bathroom in the shop to clean up, running into Celeste on his way out.
"Don't you come at me, too."
"Well, that was—pretty weird..."
"WALKER! WALKER! HELP!"
Walker stopped and closed his eyes.
"Roxie! Where are you? I can't find you! You have to share your scent with me, mouse!"
"I—I can't...."
"Roxie!!!"
"I have to go! I'm sorry about the mess outside..."Walker rushed from the diner and jumped into the Jeep, peeling out as fast as he could and in the direction of the school.
"This isn't the way to school," Roxie said, "Where are we going?"
Victor chuckled, "Somewhere private."
"What for?" Roxie asked, her heart pounding wildly now, "Victor, I need to get my car. I thought we were going out Friday?"
Victor pulled into a vacant lot at the edge of town and cruised into one of the abandoned parking garages.
"Oh, we're going out Friday if you're a good girl now."
"What? No, Victor.." Roxie moved away from him as he locked the doors to his SUV, "What are you doing?"
"Seeing for myself what hold you have on Walker Wells..." he leaned in and tried to grab her breasts, but she shoved him off, "Oh, stop being such a fucking tease. Don't you know why Walker's with you? He's using you and then he's gonna pass you around to the rest of us anyway. You know it—I know it—might as well have a good time!"
Victor grabbed Roxie's hands and her fangs appeared, her eyes turned and her claws came out. She hissed and stabbed and scratched, but she couldn't yell—not out loud anyway.
"You fucking bit me!" Victor screeched as he examined his hand, "Come here!" He grabbed her sweater and yanked it off, tearing at her flimsy shirt underneath until it was torn into, "You just need to calm down and make this enjoyable for both of us!"
Shirt and sweater gone, Victor roamed her breasts with his hands until Roxie flung off the seat belt and punched Victor in the face.
"Let me go!"
She was finally able to regain her voice, punching and fighting with everything she had until Victor gave up and pushed her out of the car, tossing her bag out with her.
"You're nothing but a trashy whore, Reynolds...just like your mother."
And with that, Victor sped off—leaving Roxie on the pavement—bruised and battered. Her left eye swollen and her lip busted, Roxie tried to cover herself with her bag, roaming inside of it to find her phone.
She heard the sound of a car in the distance and was terrified that it was Victor coming back to finish her off—or maybe he brought someone with him.
Roxie ran into the garage and hid, trying to find her phone, but it wasn't in her bag. She must have left it at the cabin.
She hid in a little cubby, turning off her scent as quickly as possible when she heard a set of shoes clobbering the pavement.
"Mouse! Where are you?!"
Walker...
How would he know where to find her?
"Walker?"
Walker knelt down and peeked inside of the little cubby to find a beaten Roxie curled up in a ball and shivering.
"He's a fucking dead man, Roxie," Walker hissed as he lifted her out of the shelf and cradled her to him, "What did he do to you?"
"Walker.." Roxie sighed, "I..."
"Shhh," Walker said, gently placing her in the Jeep and putting his jacket on her, "I am taking you to your coven and then I have to find Victor."
"He'll pay for what he's done to you."
