Coming Undone

Walker watched her sleep for the longest time until he also fell into a slumber.

When he woke up, she was gone. Her scent missing.

Rushing from the room, he found her in the kitchen making breakfast.

"You still like your eggs over easy, right?" She asked, smiling at him as his naked body stood before her, "Are you alright?"

"I...thought you were gone.."

"Sorry," she said, "I didn't want to wake you so I teleported and hid my scent."

"How far can you teleport?"

"Not too far," Roxie said, grabbing some paper towels to clean up a spill, "I am working on it." She turned to look at him again, "Are you going to stay naked all day?"

"Do you want me to?"

"I wouldn't mind at all," she winked, "Are your wounds still healed?"

"Yes, but you...are you rested enough?"

She sighed, "I'll be honest. I'm a little tired, but nothing a little java won't fix. I am very excited to start painting tonight and hearing you play the piano."

"I never said I would do that."

"Why don't you? It might ease my nerves."

"If you get off my back about it, I might play."

"Sheesh, you woke up grouchy."

"I woke up,-"

Worried about you...he was about to say, but caught himself.

"I'm going to get dressed," he said, "I will help you butter some toast or something."

Her laugh made him tingle, "Oh, such a hard job..."

"I got a hard job for you!" He called back before getting dressed. Her scent was suddenly back in the room and he looked up to see her grabbing her phone, "Shit...Christ...please don't do that anymore."

"Sorry," she shrugged, "I have to message my mom."

He watched her—he really didn't want to take his eyes off of her, especially when she looked so sad.

"What is it?"

"I think Mom's mad at me."

"She's just worried, mouse," he said, putting his boots on, "It's because you're with me."

"I really shouldn't be here," Roxie sighed, "I don't know why I am."

"I don't know why we're here, either..."

"Really?"

"Really..."

"Well, I wonder what prom's going to be like," Roxie beamed.

"A stupid dance."

"Well, that's not nice, Walker," she said, "I thought you were excited about it."

Walker shrugged, "It's just closer to the ball."

"Are you nervous?"

"About?"

"The ball?"

"I don't want to hate my mate."

"But you said so yourself, there's a huge bonding there that cannot be broken."

"I know what I said."

"Stop being brash with me. You're turning into evil Walker."

He pulled her into him, causing Roxie to drop her phone.

"Do you want evil Walker?"

"No..." she shook her head, "I want the Walker I had last night."

"You're pretty blunt about what you want now."

"You're the one with his cock poking me in the stomach."

The thought of her carrying children in that belly went straight to his already full balls.

"Your mate will fill you with children."

"Excuse me?"

"You want kids, yeah?"

"I do...maybe...I want to be a good mother," Roxie said, "I want to have a big family. I am an only child..."

"I know...it gets lonely," Walker whispered, "You can't have evil Walker right now, but would you settle for another Walker?"

"Which one is that?"

"This one..."

He leaned in and placed his lips on hers, mindful to hold her close so she couldn't run away.

Walker captured the moan that escaped Roxie's lips.

She pulled away, slightly and smiled, but her smile faded quickly.

"Do you smell something burning?"

"Shit!"

They rushed to the kitchen only to find their food completely destroyed by overcooking.

"Well," Walker said, "I guess I'm going out to get donuts."

"I want to go," Roxie said, grabbing her coat, "We'll just eat there."

"Sounds good."

He wanted people to see them together, wanted men to know she was off limits for the time being.

"Do you always drive with one hand?" Roxie asked as Walker held onto her thigh.

"Only when I have you in the car."

"So, you don't touch Holden's leg when he's with you?"

"Nah, too hairy," he joked, "Do you not want me touching you?"

"I just don't know why you want to."

"There's something about you I like."

"You like?"

"I mean, I was inside of you last night and I certainly liked that. I plan on doing that quite a bit before the ball."

"You didn't want it earlier."

"You needed rest," he said, sternly, "But I'm gonna have it later."

Roxie could feel her core screaming for joy. She tried to remain as calm as possible, but he could read her a bit now and she'd just have to control herself.

A sly smile danced across Walker's handsome face as Roxie tried her best to not get worked up.

"Fuck, mouse, am I just going to have to pull over and let you ride me?"

"I don't know what you mean. I'm fine."

"That you definitely are..."

They rounded the corner and eventually made to Billy's Donuts where they spotted Eric's car.

"Your buddies are here."

Walker frowned, "I see that."

"If you don't want me to go in,-"

"You are coming in. You are eating and then we are going back to have some fun."

Roxie didn't mind the possessiveness in his voice. If she was being honest, it was turning her on.

They stepped in to the shop as heads turned in their direction.

"The fuck is he doing with her?"

"Roxie Reynolds? Didn't he hate that bitch?"

"I had no idea they were together."

"He must be hard up if he wants a Weeper."

The whispers wouldn't even be considered such—especially when Holden opened his mouth.

"What the hell are you doing, man?" He stood up and got in Walker's face, "What's happening here?"

"I fucking told you what's happening here, Holden. I suggest you backing the fuck off until I'm ready to be on good terms with you again. Your dad's trying to get a raise, right?"

"You fucking wouldn't..."

"I fucking would. Fuck around and find out."

Roxie had already settled into a booth and was chatting with one of the servers—a very friendly young woman named Celeste.

"He's got some trouble, eh?"

"He is the trouble, actually," Roxie laughed, trying to hear what Holden was saying. It wasn't good, whatever it was.

"We'll take one of each and two coffess, please."

"Coming right up."

"I know you wanted to play the field before the ball, but this ain't it, bro. You're treating her like an equal, you're spending the night with her, and you're allowing yourself to get into trouble for her. Either her pussy is the best you've ever had or it's something else."

"I told you to let it go, Holden. You don't know what the hell you're talking about."

"In less than five days, you've made a fool of yourself over this bitch. You're coming undone."

Walker hissed, his fangs protruded and his eyes turned to a fiery gold as he grabbed Holden by the collar and pushed him up against the wall.

"I am the only one allowed to talk about her like that—I can tease her, taunt her, make her life miserable, but you are not permitted to even speak her name, do you understand me?"

Holden didn't answer as he looked over Walker's shoulder at Roxie who had a look of horror on her face.

"She's not...?"

"I've no idea, Holden, but even if she isn't I fuck with her—not you!"

Holden nodded, "Fine. Come undone on your own, brother. When it all comes crashing down, don't say I didn't try to warn you. You'll regret it all. You're losing yourself in her, man."

Walker ambled away, his head down, hands clenched into fist.

"I've already lost myself."
