I was lucky enough to watch the eclipse from the point of greatest totality (but it was super hot. Like 100°F hot. I'm just glad we have a glass-roofed car that we watched the eclipse from because people got heat exhaustion just from being there.) I took some photos of the partial eclipse (not very good ones, but still) and totality was amazing. When it ended, it actually felt like stepping out of a dream. It's surreal.
