eep! instead of writing, I've been procrastinating and making a cover for one of my next novels...great job, Vicky. also, super sorry to PatriSaFancluB for making my cover this morning instead of hers (inspiration strikes when inspiration strikes). i'll try to get it done tomorrow? I have the reference photo and stuff :)

to show you how legit I am about this story (i'm writing it once the silence pact is done this month hopefully...well not if I keep making useless graphics :S), I've got the summary and character aesthetics for you too!

Junonia Verma has been obsessed with telling the future ever since her parents' death was predicted by a traveling carnival's fortune teller. Named after the one thing that killed her parents, June's just barely living on the small shelling island of Coquille.

Then she meets Garrett Davis--a city boy through and through and the most reluctant summer visitor to Coquille. Sent to live with his sister for the summer, Gary's trying to escape ghosts from New York that just won't let go.

When these two lives collide for the short summer, shells will be found and memories will be made, but it's whether June and Gary can accept their past and present and hold tight through the hurricane that will determine whether they'll be swept away or left standing.
