Polarr, PicsArt, and Phonto (the holy P's)

How To

First thing I did was look up a png of my faceclaim. A PNG is basically an image without a background. So I looked up Josh Dun as my PNG.

After that I decided I kind of wanted a "space" theme? If 'ya know, okay, so yeah that's what I looked up! Fun fact: when looking up backgrounds and stuff, I tend to use Tumblr a lot.

Next what you wanna do is open up PicsArt.

Then you can open up that blank white cover template for your background. Then take the background you want on the cover and make it as big as the template, and move it around until you're satisfied.

After that, open up your PNG until your desired size is achieved and space it to where you want.

Upload the image to your phone.

Then open Polarr.

The bar-code in the resources section can be scanned in Polarr to get the "Cherries" filter that I used as a base. To scan filters, take a screenshot of the bar-code. Click the line under the "x" and click Import From Photos. Click the screenshot and then you're good.

So then I edited the filter, and the following screenshots are all the dimensions (is that the right word?) that you'll need. And YES, I put my "sharpen" at 100, but for some reason, I really like doing that, literally I feel like it looks cool but you can always edit what I did if you don't like it.

Okay, then open Phonto. Click the camera and then open your image. The fonts I used are listed at the end of the chapter. But I clicked the text and then I clicked Style. After that I clicked Style again which is on the top (the shaded button in the image) and went to the very bottom (where the A's are in the image) and chose the second to last one to get a little bit of a shadow effect that you can see in the image below.

I did the same thing with the other font, but I didn't do it for the author name. Here's the finished product!
