Now, if you are a beginner in graphic design, you will probably want to know what the best kinds of materials to use are. Most likely you will search up images on google and slap them onto whatever program you are using. 

Or, you'll simply be using the same textures over and over again that you found in a cover tutorial. 

Let's be real here. It's gonna be either of those two options. 

You can definitely do better than that.

There are actually a range of websites you can use to make your graphics, one of the biggest ones being Deviantart.

Now, if you know your websites pretty well, then you might be shocked. Deviantart is a site that is used for art. But hey, we'll count graphic designing into that category, because there's a ton of resources for you to use and they look gorgeous.

It'll probably take you a couple of weeks to find something that you will like, so I will save your life and list a few people (who make resources) down below!

Other than Deviantart, there are other places you can get resources from. Again, I will be listing some websites down below to save your life (for the second time, i'm so awesome).

These websites include special stock images, meaning that you are allowed to use them wherever you like! It is called ''CC0''. That means you are allowed to make any kind of resource with them and are allow to distribute them to many places. 

But make sure to read the download terms, in case they aren't CC0 and for personal use only!

Another thing ;; please make sure to read the instructions/rules when you download something, because they are important! Sometimes you are not allowed to post your works without credit because people spend hours and hours making things that you end up using in your works!

If you think that may be unfair, it really isn't.

Personally as a resource maker myself, i find it very annoying when someone posts something and they don't credit me and other people. Sometimes I can take over an hour for a single texture! Imagine how frustrating that would be for me and other fellow resource makers!

And to top that off, sometimes other people can steal! Now, i'm not saying that you are going to steal, but you might, and could not just be aware of it!

There are many stories I would love to share with you, but i'm really not going to bother wasting my time. 

Moral of using resources;; make sure to credit the makers! 

If you think it's a tough job, it really isn't! All you have to do is bloody write down their usernames or website in the description box!

Don't be all like ''oh i'll do it later!'', and you'll do it after three weeks (and during that time i have told you countless times to put down my name).

Again, i'm not saying that you will do it. 

It just happens.
