Please keep in mind that this is purely fun and not life or death, so if you don't win this time, there is always next time! Yay! But, in all seriousness, this is mostly my opinion and that of my assistant judge, so don't take anything to heart, you may be pleasing someone else's criteria instead. (if that makes sense)

Alright, now onto the good stuff:

Remember you have a chance to help judge if you so want to if you place first XD But first, let's give each entry a score out of 10 from the Assistant Judge and a critique from me!

Entry 1: xxNadiaPxx

Score:  9.5/10 - Love the simplicity.

I must admit I love simple things, being too much can throw people off, so this is a nice look for a bookmark. It's aesthetically pleasing and the floral reminds me of cherry blossoms (not sure if this is what they are, but oh well). It definitely gives me a Japanese feel, if you look at the font on the little soda bottle, it must be that or Chinese, I'm no expert. The static look and toned down colors are a nice blend and I like the font you chose for your words. I will just add that you should be careful with placing text too close to the edges because in a real-life situation there is a chance it may get cut off when made (this is just from personal experience from working in a printing shop).

Entry 2: AoiReid

Score:  7/10 - The quote is very relatable and I'm lovin' it.

This is true, the little saying is very much relatable to all readers, even happens to me digitally when it doesn't save my place... So in this regard, you are quite right XD I love the fact that you came up with your own little quote. I must say that when I came up with the floral theme, I definitely wasn't expecting this, but I am pleasantly surprised. I do so love the unique 80's Scooby-Doo theme you did, very different, but still within the theme parameters. I did say floral, but not what type XD. I do want to point out the little punch holes that you added for ribbons or string, this is a brilliant thought, as that is what most bookmarks tend to have and I'm glad you took the time to think of this.

Entry 3: Jumping_Jiminys

Score:  4/10

This is very simple, which is nice and I like the Day of the Dead theme you did here, with a more Mexican vibe going. Day of the Dead definitely is a colorful celebration, it focuses a lot of flowers and sugar skulls, so I like your take on the floral theme. It is a little stark though, a little empty, could have added something more, even just faintly in the background. I do like how the colors are very bright though on the sugar skull itself, though if you could have made sure it didn't get cut off, that would have been nicer in my opinion. Overall, it's got a nice minimalistic feel to it.

Entry 4: circusities

Score:  9/10 - I love the edit. It is amazing but there's a bit too much happening.

I do agree, this is true, there is a lot going on here, but I can see the thought and effort behind it. The floral is there, but not so upfront that it's too much, so I like the subtlety of the flowers in the background. Your use of png's in the center is a little odd, but who am I to say that XD, though it is interesting. I especially like the quotes you have placed on here, very cute and super true, I love it. And the fonts make it so that it is still visible and not lost amongst the pngs and other artwork on the bookmark.

Entry 5: niapatel14

Score: 4/10

I like the look of the first one and the way you did the shadow of the text and the pink and black colors are so pleasing to me. The border is interesting, but again it could have used more of your own touch to it, I feel like very little was added here. Same goes for the other, but I love the plat on words you did here, instead of nooks and crannies, you did books and crannies, very cute and I love it XD. The background is a very classic floral pattern, almost like fillagree. I do however want to point out that you didn't quite get the dimensions right, though I can understand if the app you use limits this, so I shall let that slide. 

Entry 6: ItsMeDreamerGurl

Score: 5/10

This bookmark isn't too busy and isn't too simple, so it has a nice medium going on. I like the green and red colors, very complimentary and go nicely together. The artsy tulip looking flowers are very cute and I like the look of them, it fits your graphic wonderfully. The newspaper print bordering the top and the bottom gives a very bookish feel, which is lovely considering what this graphic is. I like the font you chose for your little quote, it blends nicely with the outlines you have added to the newsprint and the flowers. Though please be careful in the future with your text being to close to the edges, it can be trimmed off accidentally in real-life. Also not quite the right size, but it's fine.
