Contest 7: Results
Okay so I have posted each entry with my honest opinion and then I will list the winners afterward. Now on with the show!
You've seen each entry before, but I will post them again for the judging.
- Your graphic is an interesting one, I love the use of social media PNGs. I love the contrast of the orange hair and the bubblegum pink, makes it pop, so nice image choice. Although I am disappointed with the title, which I said had to relate to the theme in some way, the font is really cool. But it is a very well done graphic, perfect as a book cover, though it doesn't relate to much to the Bubblegum theme besides the color.
- Now, this has a lot of the bubblegum theme. The font you chose is awesome and I love it, especially since it glows and it fits your graphic perfectly with the glowing swirl around the girl. I really like the girl's graphic, very artsy and fits the pink background. The way you've placed your title kinda messes with my OCD, but that's just me XD.
- The black border was my bad cropping skills, so let's ignore that XD. This cover is very simple, but I like simple. I like the png for the girl, matching the pink background nicely. The font could have been a better choice though, it's not bad, just could be less basic. Otherwise a nice simplistic cover graphic.
- You gave two entries, but I'll combine the judging. Out of the two, I prefer the first as it is more book cover size and the fonts are better, though I prefer the second one's background image. Photo's/images like this can be tricky when adding text, tending to look slapstick, it's usually best to go for a more standard and clean font. But I do like the bubble sheen color to the first cover's font. The second one has too many clashing fonts and that can be a little distracting, plus the colorful background clashes with the black in the main text. But I love the cute subtitles! Otherwise, they are nice and bright and fit the theme.
- I thought this was cute, a little peep back into my childhood with all those characters in the bubblegum machine. Now the font fits the theme wonderfully and everything is very colorful and pink. Though the subtitle seems a little out of place, especially since it's black. All in all a cute graphic.
- Now, this happens to be the only one that's not a book cover, I did say you could do anything, right? I love the aesthetic look, its very pleasing to the eye. l like the background image and the lines you drew over it, I also quite like the mask you chose, very fitting. I did, however, notice that you didn't put your personal username on the graphic, which is kinda annoying seeing as that's how I identify who's is who. But other than that I am pleased with your graphic.
- This graphic has the bubblegum theme written all over it, literally! It is a little dark, but other than that, I love the use of color, especially bubblegum blue, you are the first. I love the fonts used, a little too many, but they don't necessarily clash. The PNGs are interesting and their placement really blends well together. If you could have made this brighter it ould have been better, but it's a wonderful book cover graphic.
