Sorry for not posting a chapter for a while.

Chapter 4 Cedric

Third person pov. 
A few minutes later. 

Harry wraps his arm around Melanie's waist as he guides her down the stairs towards where the others are. Ron was still nowhere to be found. Hermione and Arthur sat at the couch in the other room talking to each other about muggle stuff. Molly and the other boys are at the table eating already. 

Molly stops what she was doing when she saw Harry walk into the room, "Harry dear, come eat," she said walking over to him. She grabs his wrist and pulls him away from Melanie and to the kitchen table. 

Melaine giggles and walks over to her sister and sits down. She sat there playing with her fingers as she tried listening into her sisters and Arthur's conversations but she got bored of listening to them and so she went into her little world again. 

Her mind got distracted with her character she has made up for one of her books she is trying to make. The character she sees in her head was a beautiful woman that she would dream to be, but sadly couldn’t be. All she thought of now was her character and how she acts, looks and becomes in between her chapters. 

Where Harry sat it gave a full view of his soulmate, Hermione and slightly Arthur. His blue eyes are usually only on his soulmate though at times he would look to his plate and to Ron. He did his best to listen and talk back to Ron but luckily Ron was the one mostly speaking at this time, so it gave him more time to look at her. Hoping he didn't look like a creeper, but he always liked looking at her when she was lost in thought. She was so adorable when her nose would scrunch up when she was in deep thought. She would alway blush and disagree with others when they tell her it's adorable when it happens. 

Small time skip. 

Melanie walks behind her twin slowly as her twin talks to Ginny about what she did through the summer. Melanie clug onto her sweater, she didn't expect it to be this cold out and she was already wearing a big sweater on but she was still cold to her. 

At the start of the walk she listened the best she could to everyone, but now she is seeing the scenario around her and it caused her back into her little world again. How couldn't she not get brought back to not reality with everything around her being just perfect, perfect tall trees with perfect coloring in the skies, it's just perfect for what could happen in her book and she couldn't stop herself from getting lost with all these thoughts. 

Her eyes would dart everywhere, never lasting for too long, she needed to see more. To ‘experience’ what could happen. Everywhere her eyes went her character went too, her character would pop up doing what she would later on write her doing. 

Melaine had slowed down so much that Harry and Ron ended up walking beside her now, "Where are we actually going?" Harry asks as he grasps her hand into his. Her sweater sleeve was so long that it covered their hands being entwined. 

She was back to reality with the contact of him grabbing her hand, she looks away from the trees to him and blushes.

"Don't know. Hey Dad! Where are we going?" Ron asks. "Haven't the foggiest, keep up!" Arthur yells out. 

Melanie looks down to their hands and smiles softly, she squeezes his hand before looking back up, "Arthur! It's about time son" 

Everyone stopped walking when they saw a new person with them, "Sorry Amos. Some of us had a bit of a sleepy start. This is Amos Diggory everyone, he works with me at the ministry. And this strapping young lad must be Cedric, am I right" Arthur said. 

Melanie not knowing steps closer to him as she went back to looking around her. Her mind was gone from reality again. Harry's eyes landed on the boy a couple years older than him staring his way with a grin on his face, he knew he wasn't looking at him so he followed his eyes and they landed onto his beautiful soulmate who peeks over his shoulder to look past him instead of stepping to the side to look there. 

Harry snaps his eyes back towards the new guy, he squeezes her hand harder and without thought she squeezes his hand back as she finally gets back onto her feet and steps to the side to look past him. Melanie didn't know that she was being watched by Cedric; she was too lost in her thoughts. 

Amos looks past his friend to Harry. "Merlin beard, you must be Harry Potter?" Amos said a bit baffled to see him here. 

He walks over to him and sticks his hand out. Melanie's attention was taken back to reality by her sister calling her over to her, loudly. She squeezed his hand onces more before letting his hand go and went straight to her sister. 

When Melanie got over to her sister and Ginny all she saw was the two grinning at her, "What?" She asks. "Oh come on. Cedric can't keep his eyes off of you" Ginny pitched in. 

Melanie looks at them, baffled to hear her say that to her, “What?” she asks again. “Cedric over there, hasn't taken his eyes off you since he saw you” her sister said to her, “Just make it look like you are stretching and look over to the right” she adds on. 

Melaine rolls her eyes but does what her sister said and she sees what she meant, she drops her arms down and turns her attention back to her sister unfazed about anything, “Ok and?” she asks the two. 

Hermione rolls her eyes and her twin, "Well he's hot" she said. Once again Melanie rolls her eyes. "You know who else is hot?" Ginny pitchen in with a grin on her face and looking past Melanie. The two Grangers raise their eyebrows at her, "Harry." 

Melanie tenses up as she looks at her friend, she is overcome with jealousy. Harry was hers, no one else's. They did accept each other. Melaine didn't like how she was feeling right now. She didn't like being jealous. So Melaine stays quiet as she starts to follow the two other teen girls again. 

She crosses her arms over her chest and looks down to the ground getting stuck with the thought of Harry leaving her. 

Slight time skip.

Harry raises his eyebrow as he stares at a boot, "Why are they all standing around that manky old boot?" Harry asks. "That isn't just any old manky boot mate," Fred said. "It's a portkey" 

Melaine stops walking and stands beside Harry and stares at the boot; she liked the thought of the portkey as a boot; it makes it interesting to her. 

Everyone but Harry and her were around the boot, "Time to go. Ready" Amos said. The two look up to him, "What's a portkey?" Harry asks, still confused about what's happening. No one said anything to him, "After 3, one... two..." 

Melanie raises her eyebrow at them, "Harry, Melanie!" Arthur yelled out. Melanie unfolds her arms and grabs Harry's arms and pulls him to the boot. The two grabbed the boot at the right time, "Three!" 

In a flash they were spinning in the sky. Some cheered and some screamed out terrified of everything, "Let go kids" Arthur yelled out. "What?!" Melanie yells out. She looks around her in shock, "Let! Go!" 

Even though she was too scared to let go of the boot she does and she goes flying around and lands on the ground with a hard thud. “Damn it that hurt so bad" she mumbles out. "I bet that cleared your sinuses eh?" Arthur pitched in with a grin on his face.

Harry was quick to rush to Melanie and helped her up after Cedric helped him up. Melanie smiles big to her friend/soulmate, “Thank you,”

"Well kids, welcome to the Quidditch World Cup!"
