Note: I've stated this before but I’m doing it again.
Please understand that I am going by the movies and not the books. So Harry's eyes are going to be blue and some of the characters' height will be different since Ron in the books is tall and lanky build and in the movies the (4th one) the actor who played Ron was 5’10, so i'm sticking with 5’10 since I’m going by the movies. If you don't like it please just skip over it or just leave my book. You don't need to comment about it and complain about how I'm wrong when I really aren’t. 
The place i live writes mom instead of mum. So I stick with mom instead of mum even though Harry and Ron would say mum. It's just easier for me.
I hope that doesn't sound rude or anything because that is not my intention at all, I'm just stating this because I've had to comment back to a good amount of hate and rude comments about things like this so I am being prepared this time. 
  Other Note: Harry, Ron, Hermione and Melanie are fourteen years old.

Chapter 1 Letters

Third person POV. 

Melanie Granger is Hermione Granger's younger, smaller twin sister. Even though Hermione and Melanie have the same puffy brown hair they don't look alike. They are after all non-identical twins meaning they don’t look alike, but doesn't mean they don't have something in common like their hair and the smarts they share. Both Grangers are very smart, wise and kind teenagers. 

Hermione is the oldest one out of the twins by only an hour and fifteen minutes. She has puffy brown hair and brown eyes, she’s five-five feet tall and has bright pink lips. She's a beautiful smart teenager that loves books and studying, she has a better time making friends then her younger twin sister does and sadly hasn't gotten her soulmark yet. She will, it's just taking its time to show up. 

Melanie has the same puffy brown hair as her twin sister but she doesn't have the same eye color or lips. Melanie was born with complete heterochromia eyes, her eyes are both two different colors of blue, her left eye is a bright blue grey color as the right eye is a bright dark blue color. She’s a beautiful five-three feet tall teenager with pale plump lips. 

One of the biggest differences that make the twins more different from each other right now is that Melanie has a soulmark, soulmarks. She got her soulmarks a couple months back, but instead of having just one soulmark she ended up having two soulmarks.

Melanie woke up with it on either wrists. She was very shocked, scared, worried, excited and thrilled at the same time. She quickly got up from her bed and rushed into her sister's room and woke her up to show her. Hermione's eyes went wide in shock before happiness filled her heart.

When you get your soulmark your other half or let's just say your soulmate gets their soulmark too. You could get it at any time of your life, at age one or five to maybe twenty to seventy-six years old. For Melanie she got hers a couple of months ago, so that means her soulmates have gotten theirs too.

Melanie went to bed without a soulmark, and woke up with a soulmark.... Well two soulmarks. Then for her soulmates they had no soulmark and then they woke up with one. Melanie thought it was a cool thing where she had nothing and then the next day she had one... two soulmarks.

Hermione thought it was odd at first to have two soulmates, but she quickly got over it and helped her sister calm down. Both Grangers had of course read about soulmates when they were younger and they understood it all. Having two soulmates isn't that rare. There is a good amount of witches and wizards having two to four soulmates. So it shouldn't be a problem or be weird to anyone. 

Another thing that is different between the sisters is that Melanie is more spacy than her twin sister and most of the time she’s in her little create story world daydreaming about whatever she thought of. It helped her to create her short stories that she works on whenever she isn't writing letters to Harry.

Melanie's favorite thing to do beside reading or writing is hanging out with her friends, sadly though she’s not fully like her twin sister and making new friends is extremely hard for her to do so her only friends she does have that aren't related to her are Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. 

It's not like Melanie didn't try making new friends in her muggle world every time she did most of the girls would think she is weird for multiple reasons. One being her eyes and another reason would be how she is. Melanie was slightly more open with people back then, she would create stories and tell them to her ‘friends’ or she would talk about whatever came to her mind, basically she was being a creative talkative young girl/teenger, like others but sadly for some reason they didn’t like that and pushed her away and called her names whenever Hermione wasn't around. 

… Melanie really didn't care that she hardly has friends because to be honest almost every day she would send letters to Harry and she would get letters back from him, their friendship is stronger then… Ron and his. The both just wouldn't tell the other two that. 

Harry and Melanie have alway since first year wrote letters to each other, for second year that was different because of Dobby taking hers and his letters and not giving it to each other. Harry was very pissed that he didn't get Hermiones and Rons stack of letters they wrote to him but he was more pissed that he didn't get the few stacks of letters that Melanie wrote to him. 

When he did get the letter stacks back from Dobby he checked the letters from his friends and found out that he had gotten even way more letters by Melanie then the others. It took him a bit to get through all the letters that the young twelve year old Melanie wrote to him. Some said hi, some asking how he was and some crushed him because they asked him why he hasn't been sending back letters and was wondering if he wanted to stop being friends with her, like her other ‘friends’ did. He had to wait to see her to tell her what had happened to the letters and told her that he wouldn't stop ever being friends with her. The both were so happy to know that they still wanted to be friends that night. 

But everytime they had to go back home the two friends would send letter after letter to each other and with that they got to know each other better than anyone. Harry through the time of the three so far Hogwarts years together and sending letters to each other had formed the biggest crush on Melanie Granger and he didn't know what to do about it. He had a couple letters that he wrote telling her how he felt but he never sent them but hid them away too scared for her to find them.
