The book's title and cover are simple, with the latter being quite appealing to the eye. However, neither give any hint as to the genre or plot line, This not necessarily a bad thing, of course.
The blurb is short, sweet, and to the point. However, I did notice a slight error in its wording:
"Finally finding him again thirty years later, Drake isn't the same."
With sentences such as these, the clause following the comma must begin by referencing the person performing the action in the clause before. To be more specific, "Drake isn't the same" should be replaced with "she found that Drake isn't the same."
The plot is quite intriguing and fight scenes are excellently written. With the latter, the motions of combatants came together very smoothly. The text decorations are also beautifully incorporated.
In terms of grammar, I noticed a fair amount of oversights, many of which were quite minor. I pointed them out within the inline comments. A more glaring issue, however, was the lack of commas that separated individual ideas within the same sentence from one another.
In regards to originality, many of the verbal exchanges between characters were rather cliche, particularly in the chapter titled "A whisper in the storm." While I do てthink that Vlad and Drake are strong and endearing characters, the former's introduction and the latter's response sounded like a stereotypical protagonist-antagonist exchange.
Overall, "Drake" was a very entertaining read. I do hope that my advice will be of some use and that you do well in your future writings.
