"Good Evening..." Archi stretched her arms and came out, rubbing her eyes like a little bear.
"What Good? We had the worst afternoon." Jimin sulked on his position. Archi ignored his words, her curls adorning her circular face.

She generally has her hair tied up in a bun or high top but today she let them free. She looked like those mermaid goddesses who had just ascended from the tempestuous howls of the ocean in the middle of the night.

"Why wasn't it good?" She finally spoke as she sat down right next to Jimin.
"This puzzle! We can't solve it." He whined like a baby, demanding the chocolate his parents won't provide.

"I see. What happened to those which we aligned last day?"
"They are also non-matching pairs." Said Jin. Yoongi got up from sofa and threw down his body next to Hoseok.

"Hmm... I think we have to find the clue to this. There should exist one absolute constant. Whatever though, where's the baby?" She said.
"Baby?" Jungkook huffed a pouty face with puffed up cheeks.
"Hmm. Y/n." She pushed her left cheek with her tongue and gazed at Jungkook with her intimate yet ravishing hazel orbs.

Jungkook's facial expression changed with the sudden eye contact. He faked a stern look, way too obvious to understand. Archi moved her finger in a wave-like manner, diverting gaze towards each of them as if she was doing a thorough scrutiny of all of their faces.

Clearing her throat, she said,

"Join the pieces of the edge. The piece with two even edges will form the vertex and the ones with one edge, will form the sides."
"But how do I understand if this piece, belongs to the right side, the left, top or bottom?" Asked Taehyung.
"Give me?" She took the 4 cm piece and started at it as if her eyes were devouring the tiny tile.

"Here, right side." She said, with a sudden change of expression that left a visible question mark on Jin's face.
"How?" Asked Hoseok.
"My heart says. If it doesn't fit on the right, it's probably for the other three." She shrugged her shoulders when she noticed the missing members, strolling back to the pack.

"Where were you?" Asked Jin.
"Just adding a verse to a tune I thought of. Y/n helped me." Replied the leader.
"Cool. So what did you write?"
"Will show you later."

"Help us complete this then." Said Hoseok.
"Yeah but the schedule?"
"Let it be." Said Archi.
"Manager-nim, you're breaking your own made schedule..." Y/n trolled her manager.
"Hmm... I'm interested in completing this complication."

......

The sunset had already set and the falling night glimmered with tiny heavenly bodies, akin to pearls in the ocean.

"Finally!" Jimin heaved a deep sigh of relief as the ennead sat there, looking at the framework of the puzzle with all the edges set perfectly.

Tricky of this puzzle to have pieces that can fit well with almost any other piece. Every other piece had a tiny scrap of colours although the most distinguishable were the bright Yellow Borders, little Red on more or less every piece, and the dark, light-absorbing Black colour which was the major shade used.

"If this much can be done in 1 hour, if we keep up with the uniform, our work should finish by 1:00 in the night." Said Y/n, wearing her spectacles to focus on the work.

"Yeah but let's not do it like it's our last game. Let's enjoy is as our last game." Said Jungkook.
"Indeed." Said Archi.
"Now that we have the edges set, let's fit all those pieces that comply with the edges." Said Y/n.

Time flows very fast when you're well concentrated on a work and to them, solving this was the work. Most people would give up on such a thing which could easily be termed a waster of time yet the boys and their ladies wanted to complete it.

Jungkook's eyes scanned the room for food because he had already used up a hefty portion of his adenosine triphosphate,i.e, energy molecules.

"Mmm..." Archi passed him a bottle of banana milk.
"I'm also hungry..." Said Y/n.
"Mmm." Again with the response, she handed her baby a bottle of chocolate milk.
"We also want food." Said Jimin and Taehyung.

Archi turned her sharp gaze towards them and pushed the bottles of other protein shakes and milk. The members looked at her, who was busy solving a set of puzzel while managing to get all that stuff.

"I sometimes wonder if you have more than 2 hands." Said Yoongi, picking up the saffron and pistachio flavour.
"I do. I have 10 hands and people have worshipped me for straight up 6 years." Said Archi. Her face was veiled by her brown and curly locks, hiding her mischievous smile well.

"What?" Jungkook was the new member of the baffled club Jimin and Taehyung had started since 2025. Y/n gave a high pitched laughter after finding it impossible to control.

"Stop laughing. I never understand you both." Complained Jungkook.
"It's nothing so important. In their state, Durgapuja is the most important festival. It's a worship of a goddess in Hinduism and everyone, of every religion loves that festival irrespective of differences. So on the 9th day of the main celebration, they worship little girls because it is thought that the goddess had visited earth in the form of a girl child.

Archi has been the goddess to their local organisations for 6 years, untill the age of 8. And in the year 2006, I was also one, along with her.

The goddess has 10 hands and 3 eyes and she's absolutely beautiful. All Bengalis wait for that time of the year." For the first time since they came, they got a clear cut answer and not some riddle.

"It used to be hard you know. They make you wear heavy clothes, jewelry and flower garlands. You have sit their without eating a thing since the morning and then that smoke of burning incense. I was never comfortable with that. I could still be the goddess even after my 8th birthday but I resigned my job as their goddess." Said Archi.

"So who was the new goddess?" Asked Namjoon.
"I don't know. Maybe Shalu. Somebody from neighbourhood."
"That should be fun right?" Said Jungkook.
"Nah! That's torture. They don't worship adult/teen girls who look and are matured. They worship small kids. You think, sitting infront of the fire with heavy ornaments with an empty stomach is easy for a child? That would be easy for me at the age of 27 but also for baby of the age 2? Never can it be. If they really had to worship, they could just feed me whatever I want. It's rituals, you can't argue against them." Said Archi, completing a larger portion of the puzzle she started with Y/n.

"I understand it now." Said Jimin. The moment was followed by an uneasy solace, they did not want to create.

Breaking the silence, Jungkook asked,

"So... Any of you have tattoos?"
"We do." Said Y/n.
"Where?" Asked Jungkook, caressing his tattooed arm.
"Not as many as you and not at the same area." Said Archi.
"Then?" Asked Taehyung.

"Here is a serotonin structure." Said Archi, pulling her hair back and exposing the tattoo below her left ear.
"I have dopamine structure." Said Y/n, showing the same area.

"A Kumiho with Phoenix wings." Said the two, showing their right leg. They both had it on their ankles just Y/n had red-gold fox with blue wings and Archi was the opposite.
"Musical notes." They showed their collars, Y/n had a red quaver and Archi had a green semi-quaver.

"And lastly..." Archi twisted her ring on the middle finger of her left hand, "Her autograph." She completed her sentence as she showed them their last tattoo.
"I have her signature." Said Y/n, pulling the ring off her left middle finger.

"So you both have matching tattoos." Said Hoseok.
"Hmm."
"What does the phoenix and fox tattoo mean?" Enquired Namjoon.
"Nothing as such. She wanted Kumiho, I wanted phoenix and never had it been that we did something that doesn't match. So we decided to go for a Kumiho that has Phoenix wings." Said Y/n.
"Oh, I thought they had their own meanings."

"They do. The Phoenix Fox means that we can be creative enough to make a non-existing creature, not even in myths. And also that, even if we choose seperate paths,  we wouldn't be separate." Justified Archi.
"That sounds much better." Said Yoongi.
"Come on. We didn't have meanings. She's good with coming up with random things." Said Y/n.

"And why do you both have your fingers signed?" Asked Jimin and Taehyung.

With a look at eachother, they said,
"Fuck You!"

"Lol, you took the meaning to a new level." Laughed Jin.
"We said, we're creative." They had their meaning but probably not meant for everyone.

The clock already ticked to 8:30 PM and Archi would soon need to cook something for themselves. The ennead had completed a lot of the work.

All the artists were super dedicated to their respective work, be it music or solving a complicated task. Their precision had bore the pretty result of having 60% of the work done.

"Kay, I'll just go and check my phone once." Said Archi, leaving the rest to solve the left over 40% of the work.

Walking in the bedroom, she disconnected her phone from the charger and turned on her wifi. Loads of notifications and messages bombed her phone a big explosion.

"God! Akdin phone khulona, and puro duniya k message korte hobe. (Don't open the phone for a day and whole world has to message you.)"

She went through all the notifications on her bar and noticed the text messages from Y/n's buisness manager, Coraline.

The raspy voice had a commanding aura on the meak one in the dimly lit room. The voices sounded racous in the qiuet nebulous night.

The moon had also hid behind the clouds, as if it feared to show itself to the commanding voice.

The silence of the night wasn't tranquil rather an eerie feeling which spoke of terror.

"But...

"Even her manager can't be found."
"Attack that woman."

"Emotionally.."
