It's been a really long time since I've written in this book, and a lot has happened. I found my friend Holly in the city, she said that Ashley (my other friend) is dead. She has been traveling with another person she found called John. John is about one year older than me, more like. 1.5 years older, but I'm 12 and he's 13 so it is two years, but it's 1.5 because his birthday is in September and mine is in March. I think my math is correct? Anyway, we explored for a few days, found food, survived. We saw strange codes painted on things, I've been writing them down on the next page of this book. We found a book shop and I took the next few books in a book series I was reading at home, it's a great book series. Maybe I'll write more about it in this book? Anyway, we made it to a room on the top floor of a small hotel and have been staying there for a few days now. Nothing else to write about.
