GRAHAM'S POV;

"Are you accurately sure you saw someone in the sphere?" the council asked looking aghast, who wouldn't be?, they've been in these walls for months and they haven't seen anything, I wouldn't believe me either if I was them.

"Is there a possibility that it's my dad in there, could he have survived?". I asked clinging on to hope. "For all we know, it could be any one in there", with the tone he used, I was sure he was assuming to the dark king. "But that would mean he's been under your noses all this while", as much as they tried to hide, I could see them abashed and I chuckled.

"Hey Jesse", I called pulling away from the others, "I need to get back to Tiana", I said holding her hands, "Well look on the bright side, we'll get to see each other more now", we both smiled.

Every thing was happening too quick, the thought of all of this was overwhelming, I wasn't ready to tell Tiana any of this, but she had to know, sooner or later.

I got to Nana's place, it was a simple two story building, I think it was her daughter Kim who picked the colour of the house, who paints a house pink on the outside. I clicked the door bell twice and waited for a response."I got it", I heard Kim tell and walked down the stairs.

"Hi kimm" I said smiling at little Kim seeing the excitement on her face. "Graham!!" She called out giving me a hug. "How've you been?, I asked. "I've been good . "Tiana, Graham is here!!. Soo, Tiana tells me you have a girl friend". She asked giving me a weird grin, I almost choked out of nothing hearing that. "She did, ofcourse she did, why do you guys even talk about this things?" I said looking away from her. " She said you two are pretty close". "Woww, well we are, she's  my friend, who apparently is a girl". I saved it, I thought to my self.

"Umm, she also said you called her name when you're asleep". I spoke too soon, She looked so innocent. I was guilty, but I wasn't giving that away. "Young lady, we aren't having this discussion, and you have no proof", I said giving her a funny look, she giggled and went to get Tiana.

"Graham!!", Tiana called out. Jeez, there were lots of little girls jumping around.

Tiana and I were on our way back home. Nana's place was a trekkable distance. "Hey Gray, do you mind letting me call Nana, I forgot my book". She asked nicely.
"Sure you can". I told her giving her my phone and walking over to the store by the road to get her favourite sweets, gummy bears and chocolate.

Walking back to her, she stood still and had a straight face on. "What's wrong Tee, did lose your book?" I asked handing the sweets to her, but she didn't reach for it. Tears began to form in her eyes. "When were you going to tell me about this?", She asked showing me my phone, I took it, it was a message from Jesse

Jesse: hey, sorry to bother, but we found interesting news about your dad, we need you here, ASAP

This wasn't good, she wasn't meant to find out like this, "Tiana I can....", "you can do what?, explain?, explain how there's a chance dad is still alive and you, my only family, thought it best to keep it away from me, huh?, you can explain that?". Tears were already gushing down her cheeks like a river. "You're  right, there's no good enough explanation why I kept that from you, but I was only trying to protect you, I know how much you missed them, I didn't want you to hurt again for something that wasn't certain". Could today get any worse, I hated seeing her like that, my excuse is probably the same thing my dad would say if he was alive. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't work. "Nicely done"she said trying to be audible then cried and ran back home. I couldn't leave her like that.

I got to her room but she locked herself in. "Tiana, I know you're listening, I hope you are, I'm sorry I didn't tell you all this earlier, it was all shocking to me as it is to you. I wasn't sure about all this, but I went on with it because of you, so if any of this works out......, I hope you understand my reasons, you're  my favourite person in the world, and all I  want is for you to be  happy, I love you.

I started walking away from her door slowly when I didn't get a reply. " I love you too", her soft voice said reassuringly, "Go and do what you have to". She said, and a smile lit on my face, that was a huge relief. I knocked her door twice and left to find Jesse.

When I got there, people were busier than usual. I made my way through the mob of people and spotted Jesse from a distance and walked towards her. Getting to her she held my hand and started dragging me. "What took you so long?", she asked anxiously, "What's going on" I asked ignoring her first question as she barely noticed  I didn't answer.

"There's something you need to see". She said still walking, until we got to a room, with all the guardians in it, a few securities and a person in shackles, "who's that" I asked. "He's a spy, one of the followers of the dark king" Jesse answered leaving me in rage, it is their fault my parents aren't here, that was enough to make me want to hit him but he was already beaten up enough.

Then he lifted he's head and curled his lips into a smirk.

"Son of Ryder, how nice to meet you... the dark king is coming!!, there's nothing stopping that and he'll end your father and wield his sword.. not even the sphere can keep him away......"
