GRAHAM'S POV

As the day drew nearer, darkness began to fade away as the sun brightened the skies. It was time to head south, to the direction of the darkness.

"Alright every one, it's time." I said getting up, we could barely sleep the night, who would?. It's not like we were going out for fun the next day. "So, we may not know what this path holds, but know this.., we walk in the  darkness so that others may see the light. So we will take on this path, do what we have to do, get who we need to get back, because it's only in the darkest night that you see the brightest stars". I had quite the speech right there, got everyone's attention, until I didn't see every one.

"Where's Kevin?", every one look around. "He was right here a minute ago", Aurora said worriedly. "I'll go look for him", Aurora proposed. "Wait!!", Jesse called out, " I made these", she said pulling out compasses from her pocket. "take this compass, it only works when you're  near dark  magic, soo if you get in danger, just push the button on it twice and it'll signal the rest of us, and direct us to you or any other person", she said handing it to all of us as Aurora began to walk away into the manor behind us. It's crazy how we live away from humans and refuse most of their technology like vehicle and other, those would've made this journey easier and faster.

AURORA'S POV

I walked briskly into the manor but made my way to the woods in search of Kevin, I had a feeling I wasn't going to find him inside, he had been acting suspicious lately, always disappearing and giving excuses. Well, only I did suspect him, but I had nothing on him. There had to be a reason why the dark king is always one step ahead of us. He knew how to get us to open the sphere, knew when Tiana would be home alone, knew when to send his gargorle. There has to be someone on the inside ratting out all the information to him, I was hoping it wouldnt be Kevin,  but his profile fit the record, he and the dark king, Brandon were such good friends, could it be they still are.

While in my thoughts I saw Kevin walking quickly in the forest, I was about to call out when he walked inbetween two trees but didn't come out through the other side. I quickly held my breath and stopped walking. I stayed for a while before I walked towards the trees. I slowly put a hand through it, but I didn't see it at the other side so I took my hand out. Then I slowly walked into it with my eyes closed, on opening my eyes I saw my self some where else, somewhere dark. The compass Jesse gave me began to glow and the arrow hand began to spin to all direction at an incredible speed. I wanted to go back to the forest but the portal back  was obviously not there. I walked down the dark hall, they were dark paintings which I could barely see on the wall, and they were several doors.

I finally got to the stair hoping to find Kevin, but I hid behind the pillars till they passed, but who they passed with sent chills up my spine. "Tiana?", I said quietly not sure if it was her and she was put in one of the rooms. This could only mean one thing, "I'm in the dark kings hideout"....

I had to help Tiana, my memory of her was shady, I had only seen her once when she was little, so I waited for the guards to leave. I walked quietly over to the room, the door was locked, but I had some tricks up my sleeves, I picked the door lock within seconds to see sad Tiana crying by the side of her bed. She looked up at me and clears her face immediately.

"And who are you?", she asked me with not so much trust in her voice. "My name is Aurora, I'm friends with your brother who is on his way to save you, but we should get you out of here.

"You look like the lady from my dream", she said taking a closer look at me, "What dream?", I asked, "before I was taken, I had a dream, but I wasn't sleeping, when I got here it became more persistent". "Tiana.., what did you see in your dream", I asked her getting anxious. "It was you, yelling my brother's name as if in danger, it's always in flashes, sometimes it's fighting, others it's running and screaming, and I hate it".

"Oh my God Tiana, your having visions of the future. Tiana, I'm gonna get you out of here, but I need you to focus on your dreams and when your brother finds you you tell him every thing, okay?". I said hoping the girl's vision would help in any way.

"Yes, but how's my brother going to find me?", she asked. "Here, take this,  it's a cloaking portion, it'll make you invisible so you can sneak past the guards, and be careful with it, it's the last one I've got". I said giving her my portion no one knew I had, I carried it every way I went hoping to find the best moment to use it, this was worth it. When she took it, I removed the little compass that was hanging on my neck. "Make sure you push this button twice before you leave this place, it's how your brother will find you, now go, and be careful". I gave her what I needed to protect myself, and I didn't regret a bit of it.

" Thank you Aurora,  for your help, but aren't you coming with me?", she asked and I could sense the concern in her voice, " go now my dear, I still have something to do here". We both left the room, but she went outside alone. I heard the guard yell at her, I wanted to go help but then they had no idea were she was again. I smiled,  but that smile didn't last long, I turned around and saw Kevin.

"You traitor!", I felt hatred rush through me. I felt two pairs of hands pull me back before I could get to him.

"Brandon would be glad to see you this early for the party". That was the last thing he said with a smirk before I saw his clenched fist coming at my face, and then there was black.

GRAHAM'S POV

The way to the dark kings manor was way to easy, the only odd things there were the dark clouds. "Are you sure we're going the right way?", I said turning to look at the other guardians. Jesse looked at my chest for a while before I noticed she was looking at my compass. It was glowing and pointing to the direction  we were going.

"Aurora is in danger", Eric said. "Yes but Aurora is meant to be behind us", Jesse also said looking confused. "Are you sure it's working, maybe it's broken", I said trying to lift the spirit, that didn't work. "It's not broken, we need to follow it, and fast".

After about twenty minutes of following the compass, it stopped glowing. There was silence from every one as we just stood lost in the middle of no where, then we all heard a stick break not too far from us. "Who's there?, show your self", I called out.

"Graham!!!!!!...", hearing the voice of Tiana and I wasn't dreaming made me shiver, then she just appeared out of thin air running towards me. "Tiana!", I dropped to my knees and hugged her so tight till tears began to roll down my cheeks. "I missed you graham", she said  and hugged me tight as she cried out softly. "Are you okay?, Are you hurt, and were you just invisible now?..". I was just beginning to wrap my head around this.

"I'm fine, but I'm not sure Aurora will be fine for long, she gave me a portion that made me invisible and her compass so you could find me". She explained but I just hugged her over again, I'd missed her so much, and I'll forever be grateful to Aurora, though none of us knows how she got there so quick and we've been walking for hours. I had to return the favour. " Tiana, we need need to go get lady Aurora back okay?, stay here with Jesse". I could see the quick disagreement on Jesse's face. " Why am I staying?..", she asked looking upset. " Jesse, Tiana's back, and she's fine, I can't take her back into the fire she just got out from, and I'm sure as hell not taking you there too."

"But..", she tried to argue but I didn't let her. " No buts, I need to be sure you're both safe, you both mean the world to me, and who's gonna come save my ass if I get in trouble". We all laughed before I got caught in her eyes

"Just kiss already, what's taking so long", Tiana teased us both. "Young lady you just got kidnapped shouldn't you be sleeping", we all laughed again. And without hesitation, I held Jesse's hands and kissed her before hugging her. "I'm going to be back for you and tee.. I love you so much", I whispered in her ear, "Iove you more.. please be safe", she said smiling and gave me a slight push.

After a short walk, we found the castle. Unfortunately it only had one way in, which was a bridge, the castle was separated from the forest by a huge river. We finally got to the gate, but there was no one guarding it. Then the front door creaked open.

"Gentlemen, welcome to my humble abode. Graham Ryder, nice to finally meet you in person..., brother "
