1. Get your fangirl on!

Now let's be honest, we all love a good story right? Whether it is a best selling book, or a disney movie, or maybe just a good old fashion fairytale! So how about showing that love with a poem dedicated to your favourite story or character?

It can be about absolutely any story, book or movie, basically a fanfic in poetry form.

2. Hello from the other side!

Yeah, I am sure you all know this song! Whether you love, or despise it, Adelle has a point.

How about making your point "from the other side"? The idea behind this prompt is to write a poem from the "villain's" point of view. And I do not mean your classic evil villain (Although you are more than welcome to use that too) I am talking about the everyday villain. You know the person who causes heartbreak/hurt/disappointment, the person committing the offence! Think you can put yourself in the villain's shoes?

3. Dear Mr. President

Once again, yes I am referring to a song. This time one from none other than Pink herself. 

Being a president is hard work, and they do not always satisfy the masses! No matter where you live, I am sure there is something you would like to say/ask your president? 

Write a poem airing your grievances that you would discuss if you could have a meeting with your dear president.

4. Modern-day addiction

You've guessed it! This prompt is all about, addiction. And no, not of the pill variety. Let's be honest with ourselves, in today's day and age, there are many other things to be addicted to, from technology (your phone, laptop, Xbox) to social media, to even food (You know I am talking about that "occasional" hotwing!).

Write a poem about how modern-day addiction affects your life. Whether it is your own addiction or that of another. Please keep it specific to modern day addiction.
