Finally back on this book. Thanks for your patience but I hope you enjoy it.  Sorry it's short but the next chapter will be longer. This time with The Arrow.

From what Marinette was able to get out of Captain Cold was that he was just with Mick when he got akumatised. Marinette spent her time in S.T.A.R Labs helping Cisco track down Hawkmoth or training to keep her skills sharp. When she wasn't at S.T.A.R. Labs, Joe would take her to the police station to answer more questions about the night at the gala and her time in Paris. The police had some trouble getting Marinette's school records from the mayor. The mayor ordered the whole city to keep the whole Hawkmoth situation in Paris and not alert the rest of the world. Barry even took Marinette out on some crime scenes so she could help out.

Clark and Lex would stop by in Central City to check up on her. She was still able to attend school but she asked if she could do it online because after what happened at the gala, Gotham Academy wasn't willing to let Marinette come in. Cisco managed to help get her set up with a few online classes from the Academy. Marinette sometimes bumped into Zoe in the city; she was the only one who didn't believe Chloe and Lila's lies. Even though Marinette was feeling happy and she could be a hero in the city, she wasn't fully free. Cops would give her death glares every time she would show up at the station.

Marinette kept in contact with Cat Noir about any updates on the Hawk Moth search. But it was getting nowhere; for the past few days Cisco had been scanning the city for any signs of Hawkmoth but no luck. Not to mention that Joe and Cecile were still having problems with Marinette's case. Without her school records, there wasn't enough evidence for her case. Marinette began to lose hope that she would be free from being called a criminal and a liar by the police. She walked out of the police station after another meeting with Cecile and started to head to S. T. A. R. Labs.

During her walk, she spotted a second-hand store that was selling old clothes. She saw a dress on a mannequin in the display window that caught her eye. She walked inside the shop to get a closer look at the dress. The dress was a medium-length strapless dress and a first green color. Marinette went to the store clerk and asked how much the dress in the window was. The store clerk looked at the dress and then looked at Marinette, "That dress? It's just something someone sold from a collection from seven years ago. It's out of style but it's on sale for four dollars." the store clerk answered.

Marinette insisted on buying the dress; so the store clerk got the dress for Marinette which she paid for in cash. She then got a text from Barry asking for her to come to the lab and meet someone. Marinette hurried to S. T. A. R. Labs; when she got into the cortex she was shocked to see Barry, Caitlyn, and Cisco in there along with Felicity Smoke and Oliver Queen. "You... You're... You're Oliver Queen." Marinette said, breathless.

"This is the girl that helped take down Snart?" Oliver asked Barry. "She's younger than I expected."

"You had your sister work with you. How is that any different?" Barry asked with a smug grin.

Oliver looked at Marinette then he looked back at Barry, "Fair." he said then turned to Marinette again, "You're the girl in red that helped Barry. Lady Luck?"

"It's Ladybug actually but I've been meaning to change it," Marinette answered. "And you're The Green Arrow. Um, Cisco has been filling me in on some of the cases Barry did. Including the ones where you helped him."

"Barry here thinks you have potential. I had Cisco and Felicity show me footage of your recent fights from Paris. You fight against these weird metas..."

"Akumas. There called akumas that give people with negative emotions powers and turn them into villains." Marinette interrupted.

"Akumas. But you and your partner cause that much damage and you fight like rookies. You have no training and you've nearly lost." Oliver finished.

"Cat Noir and I were given the miraculous of the Ladybug and the Black Cat. We learn to think on our feet. I'm now the guardian of the Miraculous. I still think I've done a fine job protecting Paris." Marinette argued.

"There's a difference between having powers and having precision. In any new environment, you case every inch of it. You don't just run in blind. Living this life takes more than a mask, it takes discipline." Oliver advised. "I'll train you. Both as Marinette and Lady Luck."

Marinette was surprised that Oliver Queen was offering to train her. She agreed to Oliver's idea of training but he wanted her to learn from him in Starling City. Oliver assured Barry that Marinette would be with him only for about a few days then she'll be back in Central City. Barry told Marinette to stay with Oliver and listen to him while she was in a new city. Marinette promised to keep in touch and that she'll have the other miraculous on standby just in case. She did ask Barry to watch the other kwamis for her.
