As the group was trying to get close to the crystal skull, they were starting to wonder even more about their search since there was a chance that they might not be as successful as they thought since as they were getting closer, one of the archeologists that hey encountered managed to get a hold of Grace and Miguel and take them somewhere else so that they could get information on where the crystal skull was so that hey could use it for their own purposes, and Geace and Miguel didn't want that, but we're trying to figure out how to get out of the situation that they were currently in.

"How are we going to get out of this?" Miguel asked Grace. "We don't know anyone that could help us so far." Grace nodded and wondered if she could try to distract their captors so that Mgiguel could run and she could lure them away from him so that she wouldn't have to see him get hurt, since he was nice enough to help her on her search for the skull, and didn't want his family to miss him, but knew that it was risky, since she's never been in a situation as bad as this one before but had to do her best, no matter what.

Meanwhile, the others were trying to get help finding Grace and Miguel so that they wouldn't get hurt. Martin was wondering if they'd be able to reach the two in time, but didn't wanted to give up since there was a chance that Grace and Miguel might be able to figure out a way out of their situation, since they seemed to be pretty clever enough to do so. Mrs. Connor, on the other hand, was skeptical. The others were concerned as well, but they didn't want to give up, and searched for Miguel and Grace, even though there was a chance that they might run into each other.

Back where Grace and Miguel were, Grace was distracting their captors so that Miguel could leave and get to the crystal skull first so she could lead the captors do a different location and meet at the real place  for the crystal skull, even though it as not going to be easy.

"We don't believe a word you're saying, girlie. You know where the crystal skull is, and you're going to show us where it is, or your friend here dies" Grace tried her best to hide her concern for Miguel, since she didn't want him to die, but she knew she was telling the truth, since it seemed like the location she thought it was going to be at wasn't the exact one, since it seemed to be further then she thought it was going to be.

Miguel saw this and translated everything into Spanish while talking to some of the people who knew his language and ended up getting concerned as well, since it seemed like she would die along with him, which made him worried and, somehow, protective, since he was not going to let her die if he had anything to say about it, and vice versa for Grace. They decided that they might  as well pull the plug and slip before anyone noticed and meet up with the rest of the group.

As they left, Miguel and Grace were starting to wonder what would happen and how they were going to get to the skull since they knew it wasn't going to be easy, but at the same time, they didn't want to see people get killed if the skull were to fall into the wrong hands, soemething they didn't want to happen at all, which meant they had to try their best to prevent it from happening.
