As the group was getting ready to settle down, Miguel and Josefina said that they'd talk with the parents about everything and ask for some help on finding the crystal skull and everyone nodded. 

After everyone left, Dennis and Grace were wondering what could happen in case they ran into even more suspicious characters and he next day, since Grace was in a pretty bad situation, but was lucky enough to get out of it, though she might not be as lucky the next time around, meaning that Dennis was willing to do whatever it took to keep his childhood friend safe, no matter how risky the situations was. Even if it meant to risking his own life, he'd do it. He was the kind of guy that would do anything for those he truly cared about. Grace knew that. One time, when she was being picked on, he was there to stand up for her, and vice versa, since they felt like they were brother and sister. They really did.

The next day, as the group went to find more information on the skull, they ended up running into the same people that captured Miguel and Grace, which put Josefina and Dennis on the protective mode, since they didn't want to lose someone close to them, and everyone started running and hoped that they would make it to a safe hiding place so that they won't have to worry about those people again. However, there were some doubts, since they were, of course, running again and decided to use everything they had to ward off the captors so they they could make  a quick escape and get to the crystal skull first.

As they were running  away, Dennis wondered if the best way to keep everyone safe was for him to get captured, and vice versa with the group, since they all knew that the only way to prevent the crystal skull from getting into the wrong hands was  put themselves in danger, no of which they wanted the other to do, so they had to come up with a good plan, even though it wasn't going to be easy for any of them.
