As Grace and her group were still searching for the crystal skull, they noticed that some people were scared of he archeologists that they encountered.They decided to tell them about their encounters with the same archeologists that these people encountered and asked if they knew anything about the crystal skull and they all nodded, introducing the,selves, and Grace's group did the sam thing.

As they all decided to look even harder for the crystal skull, they all noticed that some of the locals as well as tourists were talking amongst themselves but noticed that a lot of them were unaware of what was going on and decide for blend in, but keep an eye out for the archeologists just in case.

"I hope someone here knows where the crystal skull is really located and maybe could give us valuable information on it so that we can find it first and send it to a museum then tell the museum to put it on very high security, since anything could happen." Grace said. "Though I'm not sure how lucky we'll be." Mrs. Connor nodded but was still thinking that they might get lucky. Martin thought so as well, and so did the others.

"We might," Martin said. "In fact, you might turn out to be like Indy-or even better, maybe." Grace liked the idea of being like Indiana Jones, but didn't think she'd be better than him. Maybe as good as her mom, though, but nowhere near as good as Indiana Jones. He was, after all, both a fictional character and played by Harrison Ford.

Just when the group was about to give up, they noticed a dig that could help them get closer to the crystal skull, even though it wasn't exactly the same dig, it seemed to provide crucial information that could help the group learn more about the Mayan culture, something that the dig was able to provide.

As they introduced themselves and looked at the skeletons, the group figured that they could've been human sacrifices, something that would probably be helpful but pretty gross, since they all gagged at the thought of sacrificing a fellow human being to a false god for water and other resources.

"It still looks like this could help, despite the fact that they were sacrificed." Grace had to admit. "And we might get the crystal skull to a museum and have it be put under very high security." The others agreed with that idea and continued looking for more clues in case they missed anything.
