backstory
an only child, Dima's life and childhood was admittedly pretty complicated, but without it he wouldn't have been the way he was or knew the people he loves today. not long after he was born, his mother and father got in a terrible accident after a night out when he was being cared for by his grandparents. his mother made it out seemingly alright, but his father didn't make it out of critical condition. he was just a kid when it happened, six years old. moving in with his willing grandparents he grew up without his real father and without a mother who was really real anymore either. the crash had certainly taken a toll on her mind, and she quickly became known as the neighborhoods crazy lady. this put Dima in a tough spot for friends- until he met y/oc and Veronica. The two of you were friends and when Dima showed up you were willing to join in if it was for Veronica's sake- and she liked Dima. the three of you have been knitted close ever since, with an unbreakable bond and friendship to match the world. that is, until romance started shaking things up...

He means well in all he does and tries to work hard at everything he's attempts, which is probably why he's so talented. admittedly he'd very smart and quick learning, so he can easily understand games and puzzles without much effort. often he's quiet around strangers and people he doesn't consider friends, his good natured honesty showing off negatively since he feels no need to be nice to people who he doesn't really care for. but when he's comfortable he can bra chatter box and is very good at coming up with deep questions or interesting conversation starter- since he doesn't shy from honesty. there's a calming presence about him. though he is also very competitive and quick to challenge others due to his sporty nature and love for the game. he can be quick to call shots and be an adult. sometimes though he's a dork with social cues- he just can't seem to understand every single one.
