  . * ･ ｡ﾟ Chapter 14: Last Visit. * ･ ｡ﾟ 

Chat pov

"Chat!" I hear a voice and see a shadow as its hair flown in the wind. "Who's there?" I squint, trying to see the figure. The figure came closer, revealing a white dress dancing in the breeze. "Stay where you are!" I take my staff out. "Chat! Its me! Y/n!" I stand down a little as the figure's face came into the light as the full body was showing "Y/n?" my eyes widen. Her arms spread out for me as I ran to her and hugged her tightly "Y/n! Y/n!! I missed you so much! I thought-" "Shh, its okay Chat! Everything's alright"  she calmly says. Her body is so warm, it feels good to see her again after so long. 

I felt like a giant compared to her since I'm two heads taller than her! Her elegant e/c eyes looking up at me, I gently cupped her face and her hand on top of mine. I leaned in, feeling my lips touching her warm and gentle ones, I didn't want to ever leave them, I felt her kiss back, smiling and both of us pulled apart, her face blushing madly like mine most likely. 

"Y/n I-I love you" "Chat, I love you too ^-^" "Will you be my feline?" She loves me!!! I want to hug her and give her kisses all day! "Chat I-" before she could spill the rest out, the startling sound of a gunshot cut us off. Everything passed by me so fast!  She fell in my arms, bleeding to death. "Y/N! Don't close your eyes!" I look at the gun wound in her chest and look up to see Master with a gun in his hands, pointing at me. "No! Don't!" I quickly look down at Adaiire- wait where's y/n?! Adaiire has a gun wound too! I heard another gunshot-

"NOOOO!" I jerk up in a sweat,  panting, noticing myself in my human-like form now. I felt gentle rubs down my back. "Chat?" the gentle whisper asks me. "Meow?" "You scared the- You scared me so bad!! Did you have another bad dream again?" I nodded, feeling my ears droop, "Sorry about that..."  "Wanna tell me about it? You don't have to if you don't want to (^・о・^)" "I saw my owner y/n....I was happy to see her but then she was shot, I looked up and saw him with the gun, then I look down to see-you" "Me?" she asks in confusion, "Chat, just calm down and go to sleep" she whispers. My eyes widen as those were the exact words that y/n said to me before. "Adaiire, I need to see her." my voice starts off darker than usual. "What!? Chat do you know what will-" I shushed her  with my finger. "Adaiire, I can't keep living without knowing whether or not if she is okay-or alive...please Adaiire? You are one of the few whom I can trust (●ฅ́дฅ̀●)" "Chat....did you try calling her?" she whispers back. I showed her my staff (that screen thingy part) which had 32 unanswered calls-from me. "（￣□￣；....Fine but this better be quick!" she says as she quietly opened the window. I transformed into a cat and hopped on her shoulder, she went out of the window and felt the wind hit against my fur, seeing the ground above me and Adaiire. I feel some connection between me and Adaiire, why do I feel it? Every time I look at her, I feel my heart beat faster? I feel ....Chat what the fluff are you thinking?! You love y/n!

Adaire (aka Y/n pov)

Oh man! What am I going to do!? I didn't know Chat would do something crazy like this just to see me?! Worse of all how am I going to be y/n and Adaiire at the same time!? I look down to see my house, I haven't been here in like, 2 months! I fly down and land on the stairs as Chat hopped off of me and grew into his neko form (get it? ;P) as he walked slowly to the door. "Um, don't 'cha think she's sleep?" I ask, crossing my arms.  "Hmm, you're right"  he murmurs. I slightly smile, Yes!! "I can go through the broken window!" "Wait, BROKEN window?!" my ears jolted up at that one! What broken window?! Oh wait... AHH!! THE BROKEN WINDOW! I FORGOT ABOUT IT!!! "When I was taken from here Snowflake!" "Oh, u-uh okay! just be careful! I'll wait here!" I say as he nodded and ran off into the shadows. "Ugh! What am I going to do!?" I whisper to myself. 

Hmm, "Adaiire, tails in!" the blue light went down my body revealing my PJ's and my tired kwami landed in my hands. "You okay?" "Yep, I'm just a bit hungry¯\_(ツ)_/¯" "Adaiire I don't have my keys! Can you unlock the door from the inside? Quick! Chat is looking for me! I have a few blueberries from garden duty today!" I say as I took out the blueberries and gave them to the small white being as she ate all of them in less than 5 seconds. Man she has quite the appetite... Adaiire flew through the door and opened it. I ran inside and hid the kwami in the pocket of my pants. "Y/n?....y/n?" I heard the cat's voice come closer, I didn't have time to go up the stairs so I flopped on the couch, slapped a nearby blanket on and placed a pillow under my head, and closed my eyes as soon as soon as I heard Chat walk in. 

"Y/n...." his steps came closer and closer to where he was right beside me. "I love you so much, I wish I could stay here and be with you furever but...I can't *sniff*" I hear him whisper as his cold hands cupped my face and a tender kiss was placed on my cheek, I opened my eyes to see his face glowing as it always was. I wanted to hug him so bad! Now this is my opportunity! "Chat? Is it really you?!" I ask, but didn't give him the chance to say anything else because I hugged him tightly and he hugged me back, his hands running/gently gripping through my ( h/t) hair . 

I felt tears run down my cheeks. "Where have you been?! I saw- There was..."  "No matter what, a loyal pet will always return to their master y/n" he whispers in my ear. "C-Chat...." I trail off as I stood up from the couch, looking into his cat eyes. "You're not my pet, you're my best friend! You are a human being just like me and having some ears and a tail doesn't make you 'some weird living thing'! You make me happy everyday that you spent here! You're not creepy! You're not weird!" I held onto him tighter feeling the warm tears fall from my cheek, hearing his heart beat. Though I see him everyday as Adaiire, this felt different, as if Adaiire was a camera that I just look through, maybe I should tell Chat about my secret...  "How have you been? Did you see your friends?" I ask, hoping to cheer the poor cat up I break apart and try to break the sadness between the two of us. He nodded his head "I made a few new ones" "Can you name one?" "Well me and this girl named Adaiiire have been good..." Out of all animals why Adaiire?! "...She's a snow leopard and has this really cool weapon! Plus she can make people sleep and freeze things!" "That's really cool!" I pretend, "Yeah but...I still love you purrincess ;3 I got to go, I don't want to get in trouble..." 

 "Do you have to?" I ask, knowing that I'm going to be with him later on in a bit, but for some reason I wanted to cry, like a part of me was missing. He nodded sadly, with his ears and tail drooping. "If I stay, I would risk others...he said that if anyone escapes, he would kill someone..." "I understand...I will always be here Chat, but..." his now slightly warm hand traced along my face. "Y-You dropped something..." I pull out the bell collar that he left when he was...yeah. I attach it around his neck but had to stand on my tippy toes because I was shorter than him (if you a tall girl, he still taller than you). "Y/n what are we going to do about the others?" he asks me, "I-have a plan, but um I'm still working on it-listen you should go before you get in trouble, I-I'll be okay!" I quickly explain. He nods and  gently pressed his lips against the back of my hand and walks out as I close the door. I poke my pocket gently as Adaiire flew out, rubbing her eyes. "Is it time already?" she asks. "No time for questions Adaiire! Adaiire dress me up!" In an instant my outfit hugged me in a small blow of cold air. I quickly flew out of the window and saw Chat looking for me. I saw a tree and quickly flew up there.

"Looking for me kitty?" I ask the confused kitten. He looked up at me and smiled, "Oh there you are Snowflake :3" I flew down, and picked him up, returning to 'death'.
