Karma should have realised early on that this multiverse was dying. The way his magic was acting even more oddly the last few days, should have been a warning sign. In his defence he had been distracted by all the new things in his surroundings.

The clashing of weapons made his eyelight focus on the fight that was still on going. He was curious at how this would end, as both guardians seemed to be on equal ground at the moment.

One of Dream's wings was limp but so was Nightmare's right arm. He must have missed when that had happened but it shouldn't matter soon. It had been hours since the fight had started and the constant clash of opposite energies, was breaking the multiverse apart.

"YOU ARE AT FAULT! If you didn't exist Karma would never have been hurt! Why won't you just die?!"

....what was Dream on about? He was kind of impressed that the other had hidden their crazy side so well. He had such high hopes for this one as well.

The intent both sides were releasing would be suffocating for most. He had seen proof of this as some of Dreams' guards had collapsed from being near. Karma was content to watch from his perch, just waiting for the end.

"YOU RUINED EVERYTHING, DREAM. How dare you take away my family!"

He had been a bit sad when Dream had managed to kill Cross and Error. The two should have known better than then to get in the way of an enraged guardian.

The negativity he sensed in the multiverse was increasing but it was too little too late, to counteract the insane positivity levels.

The death permeating this multiverse was probably why he survived so well in his new body. It also explained why in the forest, he saw so few animals. They were usually the first ones to be affected by a universe dying. He briefly wondered if it would be possible to save this place, if new balancers were brought in, but his Death magic was telling him it was too late.

His arrival must have kept this place going a bit longer, as he had been passively absorbing the decaying energy that should have soaked into the AU's. No wonder his feathers were glowing, they must have been overloaded with all the Death magic. It was probably why his magic kept burning his body, as he was being pumped full of energy.

He felt when the last parts of reality started to shatter and admired how the colour white was overtaking the area. Destruction could be very beautiful at times. A snapping sound alerted him to the fact that the Blues bracelet broke. He watched numbly as it slowly dissolved into raw magic. It seems Blue was dead but at least they wouldn't be stuck in the AntiVoid.

A high pitched cry made his head snap towards the sound. He saw both participants on the ground, impaled with the other's respective weapon. He jumped off the tree, that was about to collapse, and walked over to the two. Their SOULS had been pushed too far and now their magic was draining into the surroundings, as they were no longer needed. He smiled at the two guardians, silently wishing them eternal peace.

"K-K-Karma?? A-are you a G-God?"

The reverence of Dreams' tone made him want to scowl but he kept his smile up. It was their last moments and he liked to give the soon to be deceased as much comfort as he could.

" Be free, Guardians of Emotions. I hope you never know the agony of being forced back"

His smile slipped off as their bodies melted into the AntiVoid. No one should praise the Gods as none were truly happy with their lot in life. He was never sure why people wanted to become one. Did they not know the cost of such a wish?

A tingling ran down his body and he was fascinated how his skin seemd to mould into bones. Touching his face he was happy to be in his true body again and saw he was also wearing his usual white robe.

No wonder the guardians had looked at him weirdly, he must have been switching forms as everything collapsed. He was disappointed when he watched the gold armour on his wings melt off. They must have contained too much of Dream's magic, to exist by themselves.

His mind suddenly felt more grounded and he was wondering if turning into a different species was why he had been so emotional. He usually didn't get attached so easily and now he was stuck with the lingering grief, at all he had just lost.

He didn't want to get attached to others, as it would make his life so much more miserable. Sadly he could already feel that his fate would not be so kind, as to allow that.

(AntiVoid)

Karma watched as the last vestiges of colours were sucked into the surroundings and was unsurprised he was still here. His link to this multiverse wasn't that strong so he wouldn't be dragged down with the rest of the inhabitants.

He was also alarmed at how weak his tether to his birth multiverse currently was. He had no desire to head back 'home' but he had thought of it as the most definite way to reach his end goal.

At this point he wouldn't be shocked if he outlived all the multiverse in existence. His luck was that terrible.....but on the bright side he is seeing a lot. If he was going to be stuck in this prison of life, he was going to explore it all. He had nothing better to do after all.

His magic started tugging him and he instantly summoned his scythe, ready to release the SOULS that hadn't departed this plane. He might like the AntiVoid but he knew not everyone did. The effects on Error were rather severe, even if he found the atmosphere comforting. His wings were testament to him not escaping all the negative effects entirely.

He felt an unusual tug and looking into his SOUL, he realised it belonged to the only bond he had left. He was impressed that Pale was still hanging on to him, as he was sure the other would have grown bored eventually. He was tempted to see if his weapon could cut the bond and he didn't realise how close the sharp point had gotten to his SOUL, till foreign feelings flowed through him.

Disapproval/Care/Affection

Pale must have eaten a lot of AU's lately to project their feelings so clearly. He was going to ignore the bond but at the last moment he sent some Care back. His SOUL warmed at the response he got back and his feathers ruffled at the sensation.

-

He didn't know how long he had been here, as time wasn't really a concept in this space. All he knew was that all the SOULS were gone. He was unsure if he would be able to sense all the SOULS still In this space due to how large it was. He wasn't omniscient afterall, no matter his title.

He released his magic on his weapon and stretched his wings out in content, at a job well done. Now what should he do? He saw no one near so perhaps he could finally have an uninterrupted nap. Looking at the 'ground' he supposed this spot was as good as anything. Opening his inventory he threw a multitude of pillows and stuffed toys down. This Dream had been super generous in what they got him.

Good thing he started hoarding everything into his inventory. Moving the soft items till he had made a large nest, he eagerly jumped into it, giggling at how he sunk into the mound. He soon fell into a dreamless sleep, content to just float in the darkness of his mind.

A SOUL near him made him come back into awareness but he still kept his sockets shut. There was also a strange pressure around them, that was oddly familiar but he couldn't remember what it was called. It didn't bother him either way, so he let it be.

The unknown monster started to stroke his wings and softly pet his skull. He was surprisingly happy about this and wondered why he wasn't more outraged at being touched without his permission.

He pushed his magic out and sensed that their SOUL was crying in agony. It wanted freedom but not death, oddly enough. It was a call for help that only monsters heard but it felt distant, as if they had begged for aid for so long but knew it was futile. He related and felt sympathy for the other.

He leaned into the touch and started purring, at the kindness he was being given. The touches faltered before continuing with seemingly more confidence. The quietness persisted, relaxing his body which had initially tensed at the new sensations. Karams purrs started to get quieter as sleep once again claimed him.

The next time he woke up he was no longer on a soft surface but somewhere much harder. He was still comfortable but now he got to enjoy the warmth the object he was on gave off. He nuzzled into the thing, startling as a soft chuckle came from it. Lifting his head he opened his sockets, it taking a while for his eyelight to focus on what he was seeing.

The first thought was a rather unflattering 'what the FUNK happened to this guy?'. It looked like an Error but they were very battered. He shifted and paused when he heard creaking.

Moving his hands he realised he was on their chest but their ribs felt like parts were missing. This position couldn't have been comfortable for them. He was about to move when the arms around him grew tighter, clearly showing the other didn't mind.

Accepting this he stilled and instead looked closer at their skull. There was an odd looking muzzle attached to them, that seemed to be close to breaking off. His fingers trailed along the others face, carefully feeling all the scars they were covered in. Glancing at their neck he cringed at how painful it looked, with the spikes biting into their bones. It clearly wasn't a willing choice to wear any of this.

Placing his hands on the muzzle it sparked against his magic and he recognised it. It felt like an odd mix of Negativity and Creation magic. His hand reached towards the beads that Sin Ink had gifted him, feeling a similar resonance, conforming his theory. What kind of place did this monster come from?

No wonder the other had been silent, as it looked painful to even move the jaw let alone speak.

"Do you want me to take it off?"

There were no visible eyelights and instead there was Code covering their sockets. He patiently waited and when he received an accepting humm, he firmly placed both hands on the muzzle. He used his magic to age the item further, chirping in happiness when it crumbled into nothingness. He crooned in sympathy at how parts of their skull had rubbed off, due to that contraption.

He spotted their hand and saw that the fingers were bound in an uncomfortable looking position. This would take more effort then he first thought to free them. Preparing himself he was about to reach over, when the hand was moved away.

" Don'T I SCAre YoU, LiTtLe God? "

He was a bit bewildered as to why he would be. While the others' appearance might not be as aesthetically pleasing to most but death itself was not a pretty affair either. He had seen too much to be fazed by the numerous scars or their crazed expression.
