Chapter 52 - (Oneiros Path Part 5)

Oneiro meets the Sins and Virtues, happy to unleash them on the multiverse. He grows worried when he ends up in a white space.

——

SevenSins Multiverse

He left the portal, whistling at how productive that last multiverse was. He had heard that Reaper's weapon was going to take years to reform and thought that was a mild punishment, as he wanted to do much worse. He didn't dust anyone in the end, as that was a concession he reluctantly agreed to in exchange for lessons. If he happened to meet them again though, that was a different matter entirely~.

This new place felt very charged and he didn't feel any AU's. He was sure this was his first singular universe and he was curious what else was different. The destructive energy he could feel in the air was high, which was very unusual.

Perhaps this place went in cycles for Creation and Destruction... or was someone being naughty~.

He passed by a few villages and was impressed at the damage. They looked fresh and he badly wanted to meet who had done this. He skipped happily to the right when he sensed emotions nearby, but it was odd how they felt.

He spotted an Ink but weirdly he only sensed greed from them. He dodged an attack from behind and twisted around to face his attacker. The wings on this Error were rather eye-catching, making him tempted to rip them off to keep for himself. Perhaps he could start collecting unique wings?

His brother did say he should have a hobby and he was sure his crow would love to see the colourful feathers~.

Oneioro ducked another attack and knew if he didn't trust his senses he would have been injured. Absence was a very strange emotion to solely feel but he didn't have long to contemplate it, before he was pinned on his back, by a rather feral looking Ink. Their horns looked rather deadly and the way they were dripping a black substance everywhere was strangely beautiful.

He let himself be restrained and felt them searching through his clothes for something. The longer they searched, the variety of emotions he felt from them grew. Oneiro could see sanity return to their eyelights and pouted at how predictable they would now become. When Ink touched Karmas feathers he grew more serious and he was ready to rip them off him, when a questioning chirp from the Ink made him calm down.

"These are from my child. I was following them and it has led me here. Have you seen them?"

"These are K ar m a's feat hers. Envy t hr ew them in the bla ck". The words were snarled and slightly distorted, but he understood.

" The thing wanted to die, so thought this was the way to do it. We won't allow it that freedom. They must suffer for their transgressions''

Such ruthless variants he had found. He even sensed how Ink fully agreed with Error, which was rare.

He started to soak the surroundings with his magic, wanting to drag them to sanity faster. He was getting close to his goal, he felt it in his bones.

"That is a wonderful punishment, it truly is. Can I perhaps meet this fellow? I need to have a ..chat with them~"

He was eyed suspiciously but was allowed to get up and then teleported by the Ink, to a dreary location. Feelings of misery drew him to the kneeling figure, that looked like a Reaper Sans.

Should he just start killing all Reapers he met? They all seemed to be rather large annoyances, when concerning his child. Crouching in front of the weird monster he wasted no time and started playing with their emotions.

It was easy to force them into feeling joy and then switching it to sadness. He played with them like a toy and smirked as he felt more monsters congregate to his location. He felt their fear grow at seeing what he was doing, but Ink and Error were only sadistically amused.

He abruptly stopped, as he didn't want their SOUL to give out from the abuse so soon. He had learned that lesson early on, when experimenting with his magic.

"Hello, Envy! I'm sure you can tell I am very unhappy with you, so let's not waste any more time. Where did you send Karma?"

He was a tad disappointed at how easily he broke them but was happy to get what he wanted. It didn't take them long to finish and he thought about what he had learned.

It sounded like they had discovered the Void, as this multiverse felt a tad bit primitive compared to others. He pushed for more information about what they were exactly and grinned at all the potential for chaos their powers could cause. He glared at any monsters who tried to interrupt, just daring them to test him.

When he had heard enough he snapped off their chains and added a collar and restraints, made of his magic around them instead. He slashed his hand in the air and an opening to this world's Void appeared.

"Did it feels like this, Envy?~"

His smirk gained a feral edge as they started sobbing for mercy. He threw them in and grew annoyed at how they disintegrated instantly. How boring~.

"Rather weak, wasn't he? Don't worry, he will be stuck for all eternity, feeling his body disintegrating with no rest. Rather fitting for what they did~"

He saw the Cross variant step back in fear and preened at how terrifying he could be. Getting a new audience for his destruction really was the best.

"Where did you come from?" Inks voice broke the tense silence.

"A different multiverse of course. Surprised you haven't left this boring place~"

He could almost see the realisation on the other's face, at where his child came from. The resolution on Inks face caught his attention and he could see the other didn't care.

He could sense how they still wanted his child but instead of ripping their head off, he grew contemplative. Another protector was always useful and he clearly showed he was the most powerful between them. The main factor in his acceptance was that his child was a large trouble magnet, so extra help would be useful.

Oneiro first wanted to do a little test, to see if all of them were worth keeping.

"I would be happy to help you leave to another multiverse but I will not follow you. I will not allows burdens on my journey"

He cooed at the offensive he caused but their common sense overpowered their pride. Expected for Killer who was being held back by this Nightmare but he expected that. He was hopeful they would break free but they must have noticed his anticipation as they stalled under his gaze. What a good dog learning his place~.

"You would be able to learn how to travel to other places in this new place, as there are a lot of placid monsters to take advantage of. A bit too peaceful for my liking"

He scrunched up his face at how boring these places were and watched as a few tentatively walked through his newly summoned portal, cringing away from the other one still opened to the Void. When they came back to this side, saying it was safe to travel through, the others followed.

When Ink and Error were about to enter they stopped to look at him.

"Both our magic should be on him, as we gifted many items soaked in our magic. We will eventually find Karma and keep them for ourselves. Good luck keeping us away"

He grinned at the challenging stare and kept it as they disappeared into the portal. His child was collecting very dangerous predators it seemed. He would need to make a larger stake on them at this rate, as too many were too happy to gift their magic to them. His Karma was such a precious child~.

Human Ḋ̸̛̛̠̋̆͛̎́͗́͌͋́̕̚r̴̫̊͊̈́̋͘͜͜ḛ̶̥̄͑̈́͛͂͌͐͗͘à̵̡͖̺̠̫̳̱̬̥͕͉̙̯̞̊̀̀̊̀̀͋̓̄̓̕̚ͅm̷̢̪̜̖̱̬̤͓̳̓̒̑̓͛͜Ș̶̤͕́͗̏̓͠ẃ̴̨̡͎̯̤͈̳̗̙̑̋̂̽̉̐́̑̎͘a̵̜̝̱̥̘̗̯̥͚͕̲͇͔̿̈́̈́̑͘͘͜p̵͎̘͓̳͉̗̔̏͒̃͂̆̀ Multiverse

The Void was dark but he persevered. He followed the trail of magic left by Karma, surprised it was still here. It led him towards a tear in space and as he entered it, Oneiro felt the new Multiverse try to change him. He batted away the attempt with his destructive magic but was surprised how easy it was.

He looked around hardly sensing any emotions but locked on a rather potent fear. He ended up finding a human and the reason this place felt weak to him. White was overtaking the area and he could sense this place was falling into the AntiVoid. He crouched down near them and at his appearance the other screeched in fear.

They didn't look that remarkable apart from their stunning blue eyes, matching the remains of their outfit. Such a rare human, it was a shame they would be dead soon with all those wounds.

"Hush now. I am not going to hurt you. I just want to ask if you have seen something of mine. Does the name Karma ring a bell?~"

Recogincuson lit up in their eyes and they stuttered that they knew a human child by that name. He doubted this was a coincidence but worried how the physical changes would affect their child. If it was permanent he would have to learn so much about humans again, as they could be so fragile compared to skeleton monsters.

He was fascinated when the human started glitching and mercifully decided to kill them, when their fear escalated. They were so helpful in their answers, so there was no need to let them suffer in the AntiVoid.

His panic rose when he realised that the whole multiverse was collapsing and not just parts of it. He tried to convince himself that a Death God, like Karma, would survive this. A voice in his mind reminded them that if they were human it could already be too late.

Everything bleached to white and he spun to the left when he thought he saw black wings. He was disappointed when only the white filled his vision. He should have brought Pale along, as a search hound if nothing else, but he knew he would have had to hold him back from eating everything, before he got answers.

He had never been so pleased to be a Destroyer when he opened the Code, looking for what had just happened. He latched onto the idea of trying to contact Karma through their dreams again, even if the time difference was a rather large pain to deal with. He would have to call Pale again later, just to assuage his worries.

Otherwise the multiverse better fear what he would do to them in his mourning. He was barely sane after all and Karma had become one of his lifelines. Everyone should really be more careful of what he considers his~.
