Karma meets with Colour again and does some painting...he still feels dad is being weird again.

Forced Gods Multiverse
Karma waved goodbye to his dad much easier the next day, looking forward to seeing the animals again, so was very surprised when Colour suddenly turned up.
"What's that look for? I did promise to meet you again"
They might have but he didnt think the very next day, especially considering their role. Surely they were far too busy for him.
"I remember you saying you enjoyed painting so I thought we could do that today! We can even do it in Outertale"
He wanted to protest this plan but suddenly a static portal formed underneath him, dropping him into Monos' arms with Colour soon appearing, glaring at the black boned skeleton. Looking around he noticed all the stars, feeling a smile form at being here again, even if it was rather sudden.
"Mono! I wasn't done telling them everything yet"
" You were being too slow. I thought i was going to die of old age at this rate "
"..but we are immortal?"
" You cannot be this stupid "
"Why are you always so mean to me?!"
" I dunno. It must be one of life's mysteries, on par with your stupidity "
Karma giggled at the face Colour made, causing the two monsters to look at him. Mono smirked widely, while Colour pouted but he saw the star shapes in their sockets.
"Mono. You should let Karma down. We need to do some art!"
" Urgh. More creations "
"You can leave if you want"
" And leave you alone with an impressionable babybones? Who knows what you will teach them. You definitely need supervision "
Karma was soon let down, of course only after more squabbling from the two and was shown a large canvas that had been set up where they had been yesterday. He was rather confused, which only got worse when Colour showed off all the art supplies.
"I am not sure this is a good idea, Colour"
"Why not? This will be great fun! Just one large piece we do together"
Karma looked away, fiddling with his scarf, quietly voicing out his issue.
"..I'm not a good artist"
Especially not compared to a Creator. He thought it was embarrassing for him to even try to be on the same level as them, having a brief thought that Colour was making fun of him. Maybe dad would let him stay in the AntiVoid while they were busy.
He jumped as an arm wrapped around his shoulders, looking up at Colours eye shapes in uncertainty.
"You don't need to be. We are just doing this for fun..I thought you would enjoy this? We can always do something else, Karma"
He felt at war with himself but seeing all the effort Colour had put into this he quietly asked to paint. He watched as Colours smile grew as they led him to the canvas, pointing out all the paints they had.
He stood in front of the canvas, watching as Colour started to add pinks and yellow to the upper half, so he decided to add some animals! He happily added the white cat he saw yesterday and the dog, before deciding he should just add all the ones he had ever met.
He was trying to do the wings of a very colourful bird but was struggling, getting frustrated at his lack of success.
"Here, let me show you"
He felt Colours hand curl around his, helping to guide him through his brush strokes. He smiled at the end result and then asked for help for more parts and soon the whole canvas was covered in something. He stood back, admiring the picture, loving it even if it was not cohesive.
"Oh. Looks like you got some paint on you, Karma"
He frowned and looked down at his clothes, not seeing any paint. He opened his mouth to ask for clarification but jumped as Colour poked his hand with a paint coloured finger.
"See, there it is. Oh dear, it seems you have even more on you"
Karma squawked at Colours painted hands, before running away, hearing them not too far behind him.
"Why are you running? I'm only trying to help"
"Liar!"
Karma chirped in alarm when he was suddenly surrounded by blue strings, before being lifted up and dangled in front of Colour like a gift, making him look at Mono in betrayal.
"Good catch! Now to 'help' get rid of all that nasty paint. Hold still babybones~"
"No!"
Karma tried to get out the strings but it was no use, feeling resigned to his fate. He was soon let down, now covered in paint, glaring at the two monsters.
"Much better! So very colourful"
" ..did you just do that so he matched your name?! "
"Of course!..why else would i do it?"
Karma grumbled trying to rub it off and tried to hid the smile that had formed on his face. This had been..fun. Even if he was rather messy now. Looking at Colour and seeing that they were distracted, he smirked before hugging them and pulled back, impressed at how much paint their outfit absorbed. Now, could he get the remaining paint off, if he did it again?
" HAHAHAHA "
"Mono! Look what they did!"
" You deserved it "
"How come you're not being covered in paint?!"
"They obviously like me better"
Karma smirked, rubbing his face over Colours clothes in their distraction. He chirped in surprise as he was picked up under his arms by Colour, dangling in their hands like an unruly cat.
"..well i guess i did deserve it. Let me help you get rid of the rest"
Karma chirped in thanks, twitching when Mono suddenly vanished.
"Don't worry, they sometimes do that. I think they are allergic to 'cleaning," They mock whispered, making him smile.
They took him back to the canvas and helped him to take off his coat and his scarf, the one item which strangely hadn't been covered in paint. Colour then took out a large brush and swiped it over him, rather pleased when he noticed there was no more paint on him. Now dad wouldn't be upset!
He looked over at Colour, who was sitting beside him and had rolled up their sleeves, letting him easily see their many black tattoos. He shifted closer to get a better look, using his finger to follow the patterns, surprised at the energy pushing through them. He was tracing one that looked like a flower when Colour grabbed his hand, forcibly stopping his exploration.
"You tattoos are pretty, Colour"
He looked at their face, observing how their smile twitched and their eye shapes flicker, before stopping on teardrops.
"T-Thanks...i like yours as well"
Karma was puzzled, wondering if some more paint had stuck on him as he knew he didn't have any tattoos...did Goth play a prank on him? He was so getting them back!
He lit up when a gold portal suddenly appeared and dad came out, walking towards them.
"Did you make a new friend, little raven?~"
He was glad they didn't look angry and stood up to run to his dad, hugging them tightly.
"Yeah! His name is Colour and he knows so many things. Let me show you what we made!"
He pulled his dad to the canvas, pointing out which bits he did and mumbled that he did need help but he still did it.
"..do you like it?"
"I love it, little raven. Good job~"
He preened at the praise, his wings fluttering with joy, before cautiously asking if he could still visit Colour.
"Hmm. I don't see why not. As long as Colour agrees~"
Turning to Colour he was a tad worried at how stiff they were.
"S-Sure. No p-problem. Here is your scarf, Karma"
He chirped happily and wound the scarf around his neck, whining when his dad started fussing over it. He could do it by himself!
"You should take this! Karma did a wonderful job making this, i'm sure they would like for you to have it"
Karma was happily surprised when they gave the canvas to his dad, thanking Colour for the fun day. He waved goodbye before following his dad through the portal.
Ḁ̷͈͛n̶̜̻̳̑̎̕t̶͓̋̽ȉ̴̭͎͉V̵̧̮̫͝o̶̲̱̓̈́̕ǐ̴̭̬͜d̸̡̘̆̌̐
Karma cooed at how many more blue strings were hanging from the 'ceiling' since this morning.
"You like it? I thought you would be more comfortable in an area with more colour in it~"
He was excited to even see a hammock nearby made of strings and when he touched it, he cooed at the magic in it. It felt really nice. He was surprised when some of the blue strings started to shift, loosely curling around his hand. He had never seen this phenomenon before and he didnt sense anyone else nearby. What weird magic.
"I thought you would like this. This happens as some Destroyers can have their magic act independently of the monster, based on what intent was used to create them. These ones as you can see are rather playful~"
Karma giggled as they threaded through his fingers, following his hand when he moved it.
"Wow. Did Nova make all of this?"
Karma yelped as the blue strings suddenly tightened and pulled his hand back, holding it to his chest protectively. He felt a shiver run down his spine as some dark feeling filled the space, trying not to whimper in pain.
" Nova is far too busy to do this. No, i had an acquaintance help with this~"
Dads tone was mild but for some reason he was too scared to look at them, letting out a whimper in fear and crouching down, trying to hide himself with his wings. His bones rattled as his wings were gently parted, letting out a chirp of fear as he was lifted up, instantly hiding in his dads coat.
"No no no. Don't cry, little crow. I'm not upset with you. I'm sorry for scaring you...Please look at me Karma~"
FEAR/UPSET/ANGRY?
"Of course I'm not angry with you! You could never do anything to do that. You are my child, just perfect as you are~"
Karma hiccuped, just holding in a sob but was glad that the weird feeling was now gone. He still refused to look up, even when his dad sat down and gently started to preen his wings.
"Karma..you don't have to look at me but can I see your right hand please? I can sense your pain~"
He considered it and shakily held it out, twitching as his dad cradled his hand. He let them turn it as they wished, letting out a sigh of relief as the pain suddenly vanished, immediately after pulling his hand out of his dads hold.
"You did so well. Thank you for letting me do that. Go to sleep, i'll get rid of all the strings..maybe you could even have a sleepover with Colour? Would you like that?~"
Karma nodded, feeling tension seep away as his dad talked. They started to hum and he focused on their SOUL beat, trying to even his breathing.
Deciding to risk it he peaked out of his hiding place to look at his dads face, watching as they softened their features, widely smiling at him.
"There you are, little raven. You must be hungry. Would you like some magic?~"
"Yes please.."
He tensed as he saw dads face twitch strangely, relaxing when they rose their magic, greedily taking it in. He had been so hungry lately.
"There is no need to be shy, take as much as you want. Did you not have any of your snacks today? I'll make sure to talk to Colour so he knows what to look for~"
He hummed distractedly before letting out a yawn, rubbing against dads fluffy coat, purring when he felt a hand rest against his skull.
"You can sleep. I'm not going anywhere. I even got you more coats, as i see you misplaced your last one~"
Karma was happy about that but right now was nap time, so he tried to bury himself in their coat, grumbling as they laughed. His dad could be so weird.
