Someone in the comment section of The Batman trailer suggested that maybe Ed is in forensics for this film too. And that maybe he's the man in the background, that looks at Jim while hes reading the card left at the crime scene (I think Batman walks in at the same time too so he might be looking at him). You breifly see him towards the back, turning towards Jim/Batman, when the camera flashes.

It's hard to tell, as the screenshot is slightly blurry and their face is mostly covered, but I think they bear some resemblance to Paul. Though I'm unsure why Riddler would wear those glasses while wearing a mask, but not have them on while at work, unless the white thing on his hat are his glasses or he had taken them off.

I'm likely wrong, and maybe I need to find a better picture to compare the screenshot with, but...

This will drive me crazy until there's some sort of confirmation or not, which may not even come until the film is released and we see whether Edward is working in forensics or not.
