(Gold's POV)

So I fell asleep on the couch. Luckily, I woke up just in time to make dinner. Yoshira, Jewel, and Tohira aren't home yet for some reason. My phone rings a notification. It's a message from Professor Elm. Uh, how did he get my number? Ah well. He's asking me to meet him at his lab. My Pichu somehow gets out of its Pokéball. It climbs onto the top of my head and starts sleeping, I think?

I exit my house and then walk over to the lab. It's around 6:00PM and the sun's still high in the sky. It's as if Ho-Oh has appeared, drifting us in this perfect sunlight! I get there and knock on the door. Professor Elm opens the door.

"How would you like to keep Phione?" He asks. I give him a shocked expression. ME keep Phione?! 

"Wh-what caused this thought to come through?" I mouth.

"Well, you ARE known for being a great breeder," He says, smiling. "and you did prove that by hatching Phione. So why don't you keep it? But here's one thing: you must keep this a secret. You know people. They try to take things that aren't theirs!"

"What about my family and the others?" I ask. Well, mouth.

"You still have to keep it a secret! This Pokémon is in danger!" I nod and spot Phione in... the sink?! "Oh, Phione loves water, obviously. So just treat it like a regular Pokémon, y'know, feed it, play with it. Just have it swim in your bath tub once in a while!" It better not make a mess!

"Alright, I'll take care of it!" I mouth. He smiles back at me. Phione jumps towards me. I quickly catch it as it lands into my arms. I recover from my shock and return home. I open the door to my house. Damn it! I forgot my bag! I don't have any spare Pokéballs with me! Where am I supposed to hide Phione now?! How the-? Did Phione use Teleport? I heard that it's not supposed to learn that! I'll worry about that later. At least I got into my room! 

"Pich," I mouth, taking it off of my head. "make sure Phione doesn't leave the room!" It nods and I walk out of the room. I walk down the stairs. 

Yoshira turns around and looks at me with surprise. "GOLD?!" she says. "I thought you went somewhere! I checked your room and you weren't there!"

"You're such an Undere!" Jewel exclaims.

"What's that?" Yoshira asks.

"Someone who tries to get as close as they can to the one they love!" 

"L-love?!" Yoshira says. Nope, nope! 

"Undere," Tohira says. I'd just noticed she's here! "like Koyayoshi to Gold?"

"NO!!" Yoshira yells. "Koyayoshi is NOT an Undere!"  Yoshira turns to me. I think she's expecting an answer?

"She kinda is," I mouth. *SQUEAL* Was that Pich?! I run up the stairs and find Phione trying to escape. I quickly grab it and return it to my room. Pich, no offense, but you're a terrible guard! I send out my Typhlosion and put them all in my room and close the door! I run down the stairs and get to the kitchen to continue cooking.

"Where'd you go, Gold?" Jewel asks. I don't look up but I shake my head so she knows I'm not ignoring her. OW! Dammit, I cut my pinky that's on my right hand! a bit.  "Did you cut yourself again?!" Jewel says.

"Uh no!" I say. Jewel's gonna go all mother on me (for some odd reason) if she finds out that I cut myself! 

So I finished making Ramen (A/N: I know how to make food BUT this!) and everyone's eating. I'm not eating because I gotta check on Phione! What the hell?! Phione's spraying my Typhlosion with Water gun?! I grab Phione and make it stop attacking it. Baktaro/Explotaro seems fine though but I still gotta make sure! My floor's a little wet. But that's the least of my problems. I gotta take care of Phione and Typhlosion! I spray my Typhlosion with a few potions that're just sitting in my room. It cries with excitement. I pet its head. What the hell?! Phione sprayed me with Water Gun!!! I don't know why so I go back to petting Explotaro's head. Hell. I got sprayed AGAIN!

Phione starts speaking. It looks damn pissed. Is it jealous of Explotaro? Does it want to be petted too? It starts wailing on the floor. I gotta shut it up before ANYONE hears it! I quickly pet its head. Phew, it's happy now. I continue petting it because I don't want it to start crying again.

It's been thirty minutes and I'm STILL petting Phione. At least it's happy. My room lights up. I cover my eyes with my hands because it's damn bright. ...it stops. I remove my hands from my eyes and... a-a Manaphy?! D-did Phione evolve?! It's not supposed to though! An unlocked evolution?!
