Naoya's Point of View:

"Ang gwapo niya, sino kaya yun?"
"Ewan ko pero kahit naka-shades at naka-cap. Ang gwapo pa rin niya!"
"OMG! Nakita niyo yun. Hi pogi!"
"Sino kaya siya? Sana wala pa siyang girlfriend."
"Kung meron, siguruin niya lang talagang maganda siya,"
"Bes, in love ata ako!"
"Sana, mag-enjoy ka pogi. Lalo na sa akin!"

Ladies and girls are talking again about me behind my back as I enter the cafe. I don't know if I should be flattered but for me, it's just a waste of time. I mean, they can talk about me but stay out of the picture, don't try to insult or diss me. I am not that mean but it's just that I am tired of entertaining and looking at people especially when I am having my break. There's always time for things. And, I have also a private life.

I am here in this cafe to take time to relax after the boredom and exhaustion I feel after long week of work.
I am an idol, I am Shaun Naoya Andvi. Yes, you heard it right. I am an idol from eLive entertainment studio. A week ago, I just did a new album release and modelling for some brands of clothes. I am not into social media but my manager takes care of my social media engagement.

Upon entering the cafe, I walk directly to the table in the corner of the cafe wherein I can see the outside from the window beside me. I sit down and wait for the waiter. I look at the busy city of Manila which became my habit After a moment of waiting, a waiter asks my order.

"Good day, sir! Welcome to Coffee Corner! May take your order sir?"

I look at the cafe menu which is being displayed in the wall near the counter. The font is big enough to be seen by the customers and the design is simple.

"Espresso! I'll have an espresso!"

I look at the waiter as I give my order. The waiter is a girl. She was smiling as she writes my order on a small pad. Her hair is above the shoulder type of hair. Her eyes is sparkling as she smiles. She is wearing a white polo-shirt and brown jeans with an apron. She also has a brown cap with their logo on it. I guess that is their uniform.

"Got it, sir! it'll be served in a minute sir!"

She turns her back and goes to the counter. I look back at the busy city of Manila trying to relieve my exhausted mind and soul. I have my phone but checking it is somehow bothersome because all that I see maybe are about my schedules for the week. I am an idol since first year highschool. I am still a student by the way, a third year high school to be specific. If there's a work, I tend to do home schooling but if there's none, I eventually go to school.

"Here's your order, sir! Here's your espresso! Enjoy your drink sir, if you have to order again just call me, sir."
"Thank you"
"Enjoy sir. By the way, Espresso was supposed to be cafe-express which means expressly made for someone. I wonder why it was being changed. Well, that's out of my control. Anyways, Enjoy your drink because the cafe-express or espresso you are about to drink is expressly made for you! Enjoy, sir!"

I look at her as she serves my coffee. She is delighted as she serves. I just look at her as she shares something about the coffee out of curiosity maybe. She is glowing as she serves me. After saying that trivia, she smiles brightly and I am moved by that. She turns her back and returns to do her work. I am impress actually of what she said. I am also bit confused, I am not sure if that was a part of their service here. I look at the espresso. The aroma of the coffee tingles my nose like it is calling me.

The espresso you are about to drink is expressly made for you.

Those words suddenly appear in my mind as I look at the coffee. Suddenly, I smile without noticing it. I am quite delighted because of those words by the waiter. I sip the coffee and it is very delicious. I don't know why but because of what the waiter said, the simpleness of the coffee disappears and it becomes luxurious. I continue drinking the coffee while relaxing and looking at the busy city. After a moment of relaxation, my phone suddenly vibrates. I immediately put down the coffee in my table and pick up my phone. It is a call from my manager. I know this would be an important call so I immediately pick it up.

"Yes?"
"Naoya, Nasaan ka na?" si Natsuo
"Taking a break."
"Where?"
"Why do you ask?"
"Tito called me and he was looking for you at the mansion!"
"Why did he call?"
"Some sort of meeting I guess! He wants you to be there."
"I'm at the Coffee Corner... I'll be waiting outside the cafe."
"We'll be there!"

I hang up and immediately drink the coffee but I didn't finish it since there is an emergency meeting with Dad. I put the phone in the seat and call the waiter.

Kira's Point of View:

Nahihiwagaan ako sa lalaking yun na nag-order ng espresso. Ewan, hindi ko rin alam kung anong pinagsasabi ko kanina. Hindi naman yun parte ng service namin dito.

Hay, ewan.

Naglalakad ako papunta sa iba pang mga customers para kunin ang mga order nila.

"May I take your order, Ma'am?"
"Yeah, I'll have season parfait and pancake!"
"I'll have sundae and chicken cobb sandwich!"
"I'll have cupcake and latte!"
"It'll be served in a minute, Ma'am!"

Sinulat ko ang mg order nila sa pad. Papunta na sana ako sa counter para ibigay sa kitchen yung list ng order para mahanda. Pero nagsalita ang babaeng kinuhanan ko ng order.

"Ms. waiter, pwedeng magtanong?"
"Yes ma'am, May idadagdag pa ba kayo sa order niyo?"
"No! Anong inorder pala nung lalaking nasa corner?"
"Ahhh. Just a coffee po, Ma'am."
"Ahh. Thank you! You may go now!"

Nagtaka ako bakit parang ganoon na lang sila kainteresado sa lalaking yun.

"Coffee Lover, mga bes!"
"Match kami!"
"Hoy, kami kaya. At saka gwapo siya at maganda ako kaya match na match!"

Rinig ko ang tsismisan nila habang papunta sa counter. Parang silang nababaliw sa lalaking yun. Sa totoo lang, Hindi ko masyadong nakita yung makita yung mukha ng lalaking yun kasi naman naka-cap rin akala mo naman dito nagtatrabaho at saka naka-shades pa. Ewan ko sa kanila. Dumiritso na ako sa counter at saka inabot sa counter yung list ng order.

"Bakit ganyan yung mukha mo abir?" si Kanade
"Wala! Tsismisan kasi ang mga customer! at saka nakikialam sa ibang may buhay!"
"Sus! Parang hindi ka na nasanay! Eh halos nga nga customer talaga ay nakikichika o kaya tsismis here and there everywhere. Anong gusto mong gawin nila? Kumain lang?"
"Masisisi mo ba ako?"
"Bakit? Ano bang tsismis don at ganyan ka kaaffected?"
"Tss. Nakikitsismis ka na rin pala! at saka hindi ako affected sa tsismis nila. Nakakairita lang namang pakinggan!"
"Eto naman, di pwedeng curious lang! at saka no choice ka gurl kaya tiis is life!"
"Orders up!" si Satou
"Ise-serve ko muna to!"
"Go, Madzam!"

Kinuha ko ang food at drink at saka ko hinatid sa mga babaeng customers. Naglakad ako papunta sa kanila habang dala-dala yung tray.

"So ano, magcocoffee ba tayo dito next time?"
"Deal, baka bumalik dito si Pogi eh!"
"Sana mapansin ako! ang gwapo niya! bet ko siya!"

Malalandi

"Here's your order, Ma'am!"
"Oh, Thank you!"

Inilapag ko ang mga food at saka drinks nila sa mesa. Ngumiti ako sa kanila bago kinuha ang tray.

"If you need anything just call me, ma'am!"

Ngumiti ako ulit at saka tumalikod sa kanila. Naglalakad na ako papunta sa counter pero tinawag ako ng lalaking naka-cap sa nakaupo sa corner.

"Ms. Waiter!"

Imbis na papunta na ako sa counter ay lumihis ako ng landas. Lumapit ako sa lalaki habang dala-dala ang tray.

"I'm gonna pay for my coffee. Here..Keep the change!"

Binalik niya ang wallet niya sa bulsa niya at saka tumayo at naglakad papaalis. Parang nagmamadali siya kasi hindi naubos yung espresso niya. Agad kong niligpit ang cup ng espresso nung lalaki. Pinunasan ko rin yung table para magamit ng nga customer. Habang nagpupunas ay napansin ko ang phone na nasa upuan. Kinuha ko ang phone. Naiwan nung lalaki kaya agad akong tumigil sa pagpupunas. Agad akong tumakbo papalabas ng cafe baka maabutan ko pa. Paglabas ko ay naglalakad pa yung lalaki kaya agad akong tumawag habang tumatakbo.

"Sir! Yung phone niyo sir!"

Bingi ba siya?

Tumakbo ako at sumigaw nga paulit-ulit. Habang naglalakad yung lalaki ay may itim na van na tumigil sa harap niya. Papasakay na siya kaya binilisan ko pa ang pagtakbo. Kinuha niya ang cap niya at saka shades niya. Papasakay na sana siya pero naabutan ko kaya agad kong hinawakan yung braso niya na nakahawak na sana sa sasakyan at pabuwelo na siya sa pagsakay. Hiningal ako sa pagtakbo kaya huminga muna ako.

"Are you okay?"
"Teka lang, pinagpaiwasan ako sa paghabol! One minute!"
"Hahah. Why are you sweating? How can I help you, Miss?"

Tinawanan niya ba ako?

"Sir, naiwan niyo nga pala yung phone niyo! Isasauli ko lang po sana!"

Tumingin ako sa lalaki. Natulala ako kasi akalain mo bang gwapo nga siya. Ngumiti siya sa akin pagkatapos ay kinapa niya ang mga bulsa niya at napakamot sa ulo.

"Sorry miss! tumakbo ka pa talaga! At saka salamat na rin!Kung hindi mo sinabi, hindi ko rin malalaman! Salamat talaga miss!"
"Ito! Huwag niyo na pong iwan yan sir!"

Ngumiti siya at saka napakamot sa ulo. Binigay ko ang phone at saka bumitaw sa braso niya.

"Thank You for returning my phone, Miss!"
"Walang anumang po, sir!"

Sumakay na siya sa sasakyan at saka tumungo na rin ako kahit masakit ang paa ko sa pagtakbo kong yun. Naglakad ako papabalik sa cafe nung biglang may sumigaw.

"Miss!"

Napatingin ako sa likod ko at sa sasakyan na nakababa ang window. Tumingin sa akin yung lalaki at saka yung kamay niya ay nasa bibig niya na parang 'sshhhh' ang ibig sabihin. Nagtaka ako sa ginawa niya at saka tinaas niya ang window.

Weirdu niya!

Umalis na yung sasakyan at tumalikod naman ako. Nagtaka pa rin ako sa ginawa niya. Naglakad ako pabalik sa cafe. Pagpasok ko ay nakatingin sa akin si Kanade.

"Anu yun, Madzam?"
"Ahh. Naiwan yung phone kaya hinabol ko!"
"Ano ka? Runner? Buti at naabutan mo!"
"Naabutan naman, pero ang sakit nun sa paa!"
"Ahh, Teka! Ako na ang naglinis ng naiwan mo kanina!"
"Salamat!"

Tumabi ako kay Kanade sa counter dahil wala pa namang mga customer na tumawag. Nasa counter kami at saka pinupunasan yung mga baso. Habang nagpupunas ay napa-isip ako sa ginawa nung lalaki kanina.

Anong ibig sabihin nun?

"Bakit ganyan yung mukha mo?"
"Ahh? Ano ulit?"
"Sabi ko bakit ganyan yung mukha mo?"
"Ahh! Naweirduhan lang ako sa lalaking yun."
"Sinong lalaki? Yung hinabol mo kanina?"
"Mmmm!"
"Bakit? Ano bang nangyari?"
"Wala naman, kasi bigla siya nag 'shhh' sa akin! kaya nagtataka ako kung ano ang hindi ko dapat sabihin!"
"Weeee? Ganoon kaya o na-intriga ka? O baka naman ay may ginawa kayong kababalaghan, yung mas nakakatakot pa sa The Conjuring?"
"Gaga! Hindi ba pwedeng naweirduhan? at saka Hindi ko kilala yung lalaking yun for God sake!"
"Oo nga naman!Pero sabi ng nga customers ay gwapo daw"
"Tss. Nakikitsismis ka na rin pala ah?"
"Hoy, Hindi tsismis yun kasi hindi ko sinasadya na marinig no ang pag-uusap nila!"
"Ganoon na rin yun!"
"Anung meron?" si Takahiro
"Hoy, Takahiro! Bakit ngayon ka lang?" si Kanade
"School duty ko!"
"Ehhh? sana sinabihan mo ako!"
"Anong gagawin mo pag sinabihan kita?"
"Siyempre. Tutulong!"
"Ahhh! Okay."
"Anak ng.....Anong okay?"
"Whoops! Itigil niyo yang LQ niyo! Baka marinig kayo ng customers! Magbihis kana Takahiro!" ako
"Anong LQ? Hindi kami lovers!" si Kanade
"Long quarrel kasi! huwag kang ano diyan!"
"Bihis muna ako!" si Takahiro
"Bilisan mo!" si Kanade
"Hay naku! Ewan ko sa inyong dalawa! Tigilan niyo nga ako sa LQ niyo!"
"Hindi nga LQ kasi!"
"Long quarrel kasi! hindi Lover's quarrel!"
"Sinu-sure lang!"
"Oo na, sabi mo eh."
