The band walked through the aisles of the Asda Supercentre, with Murdoc pushing a shopping cart and Russel acting as a sort of bodyguard, in case they should encounter any fans. They still did need to shop, like anyone else. And Noodle had begged them to turn down into the toy aisle.

So there they were. A Satanist, a man with evil-looking eyes, and an intimidating larger man, in the sparkly, pink kids' toy section of Asda.

"Whaddya want, Noodle? Pick anything." He looked around, gagging a bit at all the happy, colorful kids' toys there. And all the kids themselves.

"Hm..." Noodle took her time analyzing each toy. She looked at one doll for five minutes before shaking her head and moving on to the next. Just when Murdoc thought he was going to shrivel up and die in this aisle, she effortlessly hoisted a huge box that contained a pink make-up counter and set, with a fairy princess theme. "This!"

"Um..." Murdoc looked around, a bit embarrassed, as dumb as that sounded. "Noodle, don't you think you're a bit... uh... mature, for a fairy princess makeup... thing?"

Noodle pouted, but Russel turned to Murdoc with a slight growl. He lowered his voice to speak. "Murdoc, Noodle was trained to be a super soldier. She could kill all of us with her pinky. She always beats me at real life video games, and she's only ten. And you think that's a reason she shouldn't get to have fun?" He crossed his arms. "I say, if Noodle wants to be a fairy princess, let her be a goddamn fairy princess."

And when they got to the counter, Murdoc begrudgingly handed over the money with a scowl.

When they got back to the house, Noodle insisted that they all dress up. Russel provided dresses for each of them, including Noodle.

For Murdoc, a long white strapless dress. For 2D, a short summer dress the same color as his hair. For Russel, the same red dress he had envisioned himself wearing back on Halloween, for their shoot of Fancy Dress. And for Noodle, a fluffy pink princess dress, of course. And then it was time for makeup.

"I'm not letting any of you put makeup on me. I'll take a dress, but no makeup."

Russel curled his hand into a fist. Murdoc turned a paler shade of green before squeaking out "... who wants makeup?" Noodle jumped up and down, grabbing a small brush and making Murdoc lay on the floor so she could put makeup on him.

"I actually don't mind this much, really." He smiled a little as Noodle put on blush. "The view is niiiiiiiiice..." He looked over at 2D. 2D walked away, blushing naturally and making an embarrassed "hmph" noise.

"Pretty!" Noodle held out a mirror, and Murdoc looked at his face, which was covered in splotches of pink and purple.

"I... I look... fabulous!"
