Il sesto album della cartoon band ritorna alle origini abbandonando la loro consueta gamma di collaboratori (ci sono solo tre ospiti speciali su due canzoni - George Benson e Snoop Dogg/Jamie Principle), mentre hanno anche subito uno scossone nei loro ranghi: bassista e membro fondatore della band Murdoc Niccals è stato "imprigionato", ed è stato sostituito dal nuovo membro Ace in quest'album.

They recently wowed Irish audiences with their , and Gorillaz are set to blow the minds of fans around the world with their new album , released tomorrow.

The cartoon band's sixth album goes back to basics by forgoing their usual eclectic range of collaborators (there's only three special guests on two songs - George Benson and /Jamie Principle), while they've had a shake-up in their line-up, too; bassist and founding member Murdoc Niccals has been 'jailed', and is replaced by new member Ace on this album.
