We enter Week 18 with a cute fantasy/romance story and the appearance of a very curious Lark...

For someone who doesn't read romance very often, I really enjoyed this story and thought the budding relationship between Elias and Ariabella to be so cute! They grew together very organically, and there were these small moments between them that showed just how much they cared for each other. It was just so sweet watching them grow as the story progressed and I did find myself smiling a lot whilst reading.

Another thing I loved was Ariabella's relationship with her family. They all supported her decisions, encouraged her, and didn't try to deter her from the potential relationship with the prince. It was really refreshing to read a story with that sort of familiar support throughout and have her brother genuinely be happy for her rather than try to deter her from the prince through ominous warnings. 

The inclusion of the lark worked really went to build the story, especially in the beginning, and I loved how the lark fitted into the wider story. The mark of the royal family being the lark helped to strength that connection between Elias and Ariabella. It's so difficult to talk about the lark without revealing any spoilers, but I just love how well it all fitted together to create such a cute romance. 

If you're looking for a cute, quick read, this is one I would definitely recommend. It's such an adorable novella with a natural built romantic relationship that will have you smiling from the adorableness from the very beginning.
